《Son of Jaune Arc》Chapter 1 Pyrrha and Jr

Pyrrha POV (3 years later)
???: Momma.
I was awoken by a small voice. I looked over at my clock and saw that it was the middle of the night. I then looked down and saw my son, Jr. He has red hair like mine and blue eyes like Jaune. He was wearing a Pumpkin Pete onesie and was hugging his ursa plushie. He had a sad look on his face.
Me: Nightmare honey?
Jr shook his head.
Me: Want to sleep with me?
Without saying anything he jumped onto my bed and get next to me. I pulled the covers over us and wrapped my arms around him, pulling him close.
I was awoken the next morning by Jr pushing. However he didn't notice that I was awake so I decided to mess with him. I sprang up from bed and wrap my arms around him and turn to the other side of the bed.
Me: Morning Jr!
Jr started to move around and tried to get out of my grasp.
Jr: Momma, let me go!
Me: Tell me why you woke me up.
Jr: I'm hungry, can we eat?
I sighed. I got up from bed with Jr still in my arms but he gestured for me to turn around. So I did and saw his ursa on the ground. I went over and picked it up and he immediately grabbed it. We went downstairs and into the kitchen where I found my mom cooking.
Mom: Hey Pyrrha.
Me: Morning mom.
Jr: Hi grandma.
Jr said with a small wave. We sat down at the table and ate what my mom prepared. I glance outside and saw that it was snowing.
Me: Hey Jr, look outside.
Jr looked in the direction of the window. His eyes widened and he had a smile on his face.

Me: Want to play in the snow today?
Jr started to nod his head rapidly. So after we ate we put on our winter gear and went the front yard. Together, me and Jr started to build a snowman. As I was building I felt a snowball hit the back of my head. I turned around and saw Jr, who started to run. In response I made my own snowball and threw it at him.
I threw it to hard and he fell first into the snow. I quickly run over and helped him up. But when he did he threw another snowball right at my face. In the end we both started to laugh. After playing in the snow for a while we headed back inside.
A couple hours have now passed by, I was simply watching tv in the living room. I heard something moving things around upstairs. I went up and saw Jr going through my closet.
Me: Jr what are you doing?
When Jr emerged I froze. He was wearing a Pumpkin Pete hoodie, specifically the one that belonged to Jaune. Jr noticed my look.
Jr: Momma, are you ok?
I snapped out of my thoughts.
Me: Yes, it's just...that hoodie belonged to your father.
Jr walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my legs.
Jr: What was he like?
I picked him up and carried him over to the bed and sat him on lap. I smiled as memories of Jaune came back to me.
Me: He was amazing. He was a great leader who cared about others. He may not have been the strongest but he did everything it took to get stronger.
Jr: What happened to him?
My smile turned to a frown.
Me: He's no longer with us, he passed away before you were born.

Jr started to look sad and like he was about to cry, so I hugged him as gently as I could.
It was now night time. Me and Jr sat on the couch watching tv. I noticed he was having trouble staying awake.
Me: Tired honey?
Jr: Yeah.
Me: Alright time for bed.
I picked him up and carried him to his room. There I changed him into his pajamas, gave him his ursa plushie, and tucked him in. Finally I kissed him on the forehead.
Me: Love you Jr.
Jr: Love you momma.
Jr dozed off as I watched his sleeping form.
Me: Dont worry Jaune, I'll make sure our son is safe.

Lorian found himself in the medieval European style world, thinking he went back in time. However, upon inquiring, he realized history, customs and as such were different. I always thought that overused motto in wuxia novels, '' I want to control my destiny '' was cliche and we had less control over our lives as they are dictated by many other factors. This world taught me otherwise, thus this place shall be my new beginning. '' PS: The cover is not mine. It was randomly found on the internet. Am I The Only One Who Is Not Forced to Migrate Across Worlds....?
A random isekai adventure might not be random. Underlying conspiracies, not-so-kind world and most importantly two-faced characters. Only time can reveal the flaws of the so-called Migrators! *** I am rewriting the novel. All this time, I have honing my skills as a writer. As my first novel, this novel served as a self-reflection of how much I improved later on. This doesn't have the most unique of plots but as a first novel, I still have some aspirations and memories.

Just a Game
“A great corruption is spreading. The people cry out for a savior. For a hero. For YOU! Come join the fight, as the chosen of World Tree! Receive the blessings of the gods, battle fierce monsters, and become the hero you were meant to be, in Arcanum Online!” It was the cheesiest commercial Ethan had ever heard, but the gameplay was enough to draw him - and thousands of others - to the fantasy world of Lazuros. It’s the sort of place that can really draw you in - a huge open world, a deep character customization system, and a feature that makes time pass slower inside the game, extending your limited playtime! It was a little strange, though. As if it was a bit too realistic for a game of swords and sorcery. The NPC’s seemed almost alive, most quests didn’t reset and monsters respawned slowly. Still, for all it’s quirks, it was a good game! Just a game. And nothing more. …right?
