Me: What exactly do you want with me?
Matsumae: My name is Matsumae, I am a employee of the Tsukiyama family. Our master, Mirumo Tsukiyama, believes you can help his son.
Me: You mean Shuu Tsukiyama?
Matsumae nodded her head.
Me: Oh great, what is wrong with him now?
Matsumae: It would be better if we were to discuss this back at the estates.
Me: And why should I exactly go with you?
Matsumae: Mr Mirumo would pay top price for your help, he is becoming rather desperate. We all are for the sake of Master Shuu.
The Tsukiyama family is rich, I could bargain for a high price here.
Me: Alright, let's get this over with.
We all got inside a limo that took us to the estates. I gotta say, this place was larger than I thought it would be. It was also quite lovely and oddly peaceful. There were various maids and butlers, all of which were ghouls. Matsumae lead me to a room, sitting inside was a middle aged man with glasses and purple hair. I'm guessing he is Mirumo.
Mirumo: Glad to see that you were willing to come, please take a seat.
I sat down in the chair directly across from him.
Me: So, what is wring with Tsukiyama that you needed me here?
Mirumo: Do you remember a certain boy by the name of Ken Kaneki?
Me: Yes.
Mirumo: Two years ago on that fateful night in the 20th ward Kaneki went missing. Ever since then my son Shuu has fell into a state of depression.
Flashbacks of that night came back to me, I still cant get over the fact how everything changed so quickly within my life.
Mirumo: Shuu now rarely eats and has been entering states of delusion. Sometimes he will lash out against the staff. We've been trying our best to supply him with meat from unique humans but nothing seems to be working.

Me: I guess that explains the recent rise in disappearances. Now what exactly does this have to do with me?
Mirumo: There is something both you and Kaneki have in common, you are both one eyed ghouls. It was this factor that drove Shuu to pursue you two in the first place. We believe that if he could simply taste it again it should bring him back.
Me: So you want me to slice up myself and give it to him on a silver platter?
Mirumo: I am willing to pay whatever you want, I'll do anything to get Shuu better.
I let out a sigh, I cant believe I'm thinking about this.
Me: Show me where he is.
Mirumo: Of course, Matsumae!
Matsumae reentered the room.
Matsumae: Yes sir.
Mirumo: Show Mr. Y/N to Shuu's room.
Matsumae: Right away.
I got up and followed Matsumae. I heard screaming and things being broken. We entered a hallway and found multiple servants all standing outside. Matsumae ran up to them.
Matsumae: What's happening?
Butler: It's master Shuu, he has lost control of his kagune.
I looked inside and saw a large bed where Tsukiyama lied. Some servants were trying to calm him down and he scared them away by flailing his koukaku all over the place.
Me: Damn he's let him self go.
That's when he stopped and I managed to get a good look at him. He was skinny, as if he has been starving. His hair was a mess and his face was hollow. He sniffed then air and then turned to face me. He had one of his sinister smiles on his face.
Tsukiyama: Finally...
He lunged his kagune at me and I brought out my koukaku to defend myself. Then I activated my rinkaku and wrapped it around his arms and neck. I lifted him up into the air and slammed him into the ground, knocking the breath out of him. Once I thought he calmed down I approached him. He looked right at me.

Tsukiyama: Long time no see Y/N.
Me: Still crazy as ever I see.
A few servants rushed over to him and helped him get up and carried back over to his bed.
Tsukiyama: What brings you here?
Me: Your father thought it would help if I let you have a taste of me.
He looked at me curiously.
Tsukiyama: I'm surprised you actually came here.
Me: He offered to pay a lot.
Tsukiyama: Strange, you were never one to care for money.
Me: Well a lot has changed in these past two years.
Tsukiyama: Yes it has, however I dont think you would be able to help. It is Kaneki who I crave.
Me: Or as he calls himself, Haise Sasaki.
Tsukiyama: Yes unfortunately, it appears the Kaneki we all first met has disappeared. Do you think he would remember me, after everything we've been through?
Me: You tried to eat him the first time you two met.
Tsukiyama: Exactly, did you think he could forget that?
Me: There are a lot of people that would like for the old Kaneki to come back, hell even I miss that book worm. Unfortunately it's going to take more than old faces to bring him back. But if you really want to, get of your lazy ass and stop throwing this pity party for yourself. Go out there and see if you can jog his memories or something.
Tsukiyama: I suppose you are right, one last thing before you go? Is it true you have joined Aogiri?
Me: Yes.
Tsukiyama: How odd, you were always someone who tried to avoid conflict back then. And now you are fighting on the front lines.
Me: Like I said, everyone has changed in these past years. Whether for the greater good or the worst.
Tsukiyama: Thank you for stopping by, its nice to see and old face.
Me: You too, good luck with what ever you are planning on doing.
After that interaction I decided to leave this place. However Matsumae stopped me.
Me: Yes, what do you want?
Matsumae: I just want to say, thank you.
Me: For what?
Matsumae: What ever you said to him, it appeared to make him better.
Me: You sure do care a lot about Tsukiyama.
Matsumae: We all are, when we had no place to go they took us in and treated us like family. The least we can do to repay their kindness is serving them.
Me: Here's some advice, lessen your hunting. It will only provoke the CCG to hunt down all of you.
The next day I was walking around the city and I heard some people mutter something about a video the CCG posted. So I decided to check it out for myself. On the video it showed a man name Shiki Kijima, a man who I could only describe as Frankenstein. It turns out they have captured one of the Tsukiyama servants and had tortured him. My guess they were trying to provoke the others so they would come out.
Me: Looks like they are trying to wipe out all of the Tsukiyama family.
I walked down an alley and suddenly sensed someone behind me. I turned around and saw Noro standing there.
Me: Why are you here?
He walked deeper down the alley and gestured for me to follow him. Once in a secluded area he stopped. Then I heard a familiar laugh. I looked up and saw my deranged sister in her disguise.
Eto: Hey Y/N, glad to you made it.
Me: Let me guess, we have another mission.
Eto: Not exactly, as you know the CCG is preparing to wipe out all of the Tsukiyama family along with their servants.
She jumped down and landed next to me.
Me: So what do you have in mind?
Eto: I say we have some with.

The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
