Y/N POV
I was walking down the sidewalk after I left Anteiku. It was almost winter, meaning that it was getting colder. I never enjoyed the winter, I see it as depressing since it's cold and wet. However as I walked by I saw the joyful expressions of people as I walked by. I looked ahead of me and saw something that made me stop. It was Kaneki.
We both just stared into each other's eyes, not saying a word. I decided to break the silence.
Me: Hey
Kaneki: Hey.
Me: What brings you here?
Kaneki: I have to talk to Mr. Yoshimura.
Me: It's nice seeing you again, considering the fact we almost killed each other last time.
Kaneki: Yeah.
It was quit again so I said something.
Me: You realize Touka's going to kick your ass right?
Kaneki: Yes.
And like that we walked pass each other, continuing along our ways.
NO POV
Kaneki and Yoshimura sat in the employee lounge. Yoshimura poured Kaneki a cup of coffee and handed it to him.
Kaneki: I didn't come here for the coffee, I want to know about the Owl.
Yoshimura leaned back on the chair as they both sat in silence. Yoshimura slightly opened his eyes to reveal his kakugan.
Yoshimura: Along time ago, there was a ghoul named Kuzen. Like so many others he was forced to kill and eat humans to survive, how ever he didn't stop there. HE slaughtered his ghoul brethren. As a result he found himself along, cursing his fate and solitude. Tales of Kuzen's ruthlessness spread far and wide. It wasn't long before an organization set their eyes on him. They wanted to enlist him, and they were successful. Kuzen didn't whatever the organization said without batting an eye, even if it was killing humans or ghouls. Before long, he became an assassin. However one thing never changed, the loneliness he felt in his heart. He soon left the organization because it didn't feel like home. He was all alone again. But it wasn't long until he set his eye on a young female human.

Kuzen was in a café looking out the window. A waitress came up to him. This waitress was named Ukina.
Ukina: Sir would you like another cup.
Kuzen pushed the cup towards her without even looking at her.
Ukina: You sit in the same spot every day, drinking the same cup of coffee, day after day.
Kuzen then turned to face Ukina, who was smiling.
Ukina: You take it strong and black, right?
(timeskip)
Ukina and Kuzen were sitting on a bench facing a pond.
Ukina: I never would have guessed you had trouble reading kanji. Well I guess I just have to tutor you.
Ukina said with a giggle.
Kuzen: I shouldn't.
Ukina held out her hand.
Ukina: You coming?
Kuzen grabbed her hand.
Yoshimura: Kuzen was along all of his life, he never opened his heart to anyone. The young woman caught him off guard. He soon became close with her. But then...
Kuzen stared down at the dead boy. He sensed someone behind him and turned around and saw Ukina standing there. Both of their eyes widened as they stared at each other. Kuzen they looked down at his bloody ukaku blade. HE goes to run away but someone puts their arms around him. He looks down and sees Ukina who is crying.
Ukina: Why didn't you tell me Kuzen, this doesn't change how I feel?
Kuzen was completely taken back by this.
Yoshimura: She had accepted him for who he was.
Ukina smiles at Kuzen with her hand on her belly. However that smile soon turns as she began crying as Kuzen told her the truth.
Ukina: You think there is something wrong?
Kuzen: Unless a miracle happens, that child will be born half ghoul.
Ukina got up from the bed and walked over to Kuzen. She cupped his face.

Ukina: Our child needs nourishment right?
After that Ukina started to eat human flesh to feed her child.
Yoshimura: She did the unthinkable to make sure her child survived. Months later she gave birth to not one but two hybrids. One boy and one girl, twins. The boy had black hair and red eyes while the girl had green hair and green eyes. It was the happiest day of there lives. However their happiness would soon be short lived.
In an alley Kuzen and Ukina were running away from a group of ghouls. Kuzen held his daughter as Ukina carried their son. Unfortunately Ukina trip and lost her hold of Kuzen, making her fall behind. Kuzen turned around to grab her but when he did another ghoul stabbed her in the chest. Kuzen's eyes widened in horror as she fell to the ground.
Kuzen charged at the ghoul and quickly killed him. He went to grab his wife but other ghouls got in the way. Kuzen looked at Ukina, who was on her knees holding her son close to her chest. She looked up at Kuzen with teary eyes.
Ukina: Kuzen...got out of here.
Kuzen had no choice but to leave his son behind. After awhile Kuzen ended up in a tunnel. He puts his daughter down and looks at her one more time. With tear filled eyes, he looks at her happy face.
Yoshimura: After that day, Kuzen returned to his ways of killing. Haunted by the memories of his children who were left behind. However years later both of his children would soon remerge as two powerful ghouls, the One Eyed Owl and the Demon.
Kaneki's eyes widened.
Kaneki: So Y/N's your son?
Yoshimura: Yes.
Kaneki: What made you figure it out.
Yoshimura: The name, hair, and eyes were just a coincidence. However it was his life story that mad me figure it out. Like me, he too was all along in this world. It made him cold and he survived solely on killing. But at the same time he's like his mother, kind and caring.
Kaneki: Eto is obsessed with him, any idea why?
Yoshimura: Most likely to see what he's capable of. Since they're twins, she wants to see which one is stronger. One day those two will fight, and I fear what may happen to those around them.

8 179Reality Grants One Chance
Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet. Big thanks to Hobbo, Enyhrye and Hveth! ...not only pointing that the description could be better, but providing invaluable input.. and being patient enough to give fleshed out advice.
