Yin POV
I open my eyes and the first thing I realize is that I'm a hospital room. I sit up on the bed and look over at a mirror. My hair is still white and my eyes are still read. However there are weird markings on my face.
Me(thought): Did I do it? Did I defeat Salem?
???: Hey.
I turned around and my eyes widened. Standing there was Sapphire, and she was normal again.
Me: S-Sapphire.
We both start to tear up. I walk over to her and pull her into a loving kiss. After about a minute we separate. I put her forehead against mine.
Me: So we won?
Sapphire: Yes we did.
I step away and look at her.
Me: You haven't changed at all.
Sapphire: Wish I could say the same for you grandpa.
She giggles as I let out a sigh. I sit down on the bed and Sapphire sits down next to me.
Sapphire: You did a great job of raising Neo.
Me: You met her?
Sapphire: Yep, you should have seen her. She was so happy. I was sad that I wasn't here for her first but now I'm back and we can live like a family again.
She grabs my hand and I grab hers.
Me: So how long was I out?
Sapphire: Almost a week. Everyone stayed in your room for 3 days straight. But after a while they had to leave. Me, Neo, and Jaune were the ones who stayed behind.
Me: Where's Neo and Jaune?
Sapphire: Neo is sleeping in another room and Jaune is up on the roof.
Me: Thanks.
I got up and headed towards the door.
Sapphire: Let me guess, going to see Jaune?
I turn around and smile at her.
Me: Yes.
NO POV
Jaune was up on the roof, staring at the now dead dragon. Currently it was the evening and the sun was setting. The door opened and Yin walked out. He went over to where Jaune was and stood there. They both stared at the dragon.

Jaune: Crazy uh?
Yin: What's crazy?
Jaune: Your life. At 21 you have gone from being the most wanted criminal in Remnant to a hero. Not to mention your probably the strongest warrior on the planet. You've opened up two coffee shops. And finally you have a wife and daughter.
Yin chuckled.
Yin: If I told my past self what would open in the next few years, I would've never believed myself.
The two went back to being silent.
Yin: Why do you wear that mask?
Jaune: I didn't escape from Salem unharmed.
Yin: Jaune, show it to me.
Yin said in a demanding tone.
Jaune: Are you sure, it's kinda gross?
Yin: Show it to me!
Jaune: Fine.
Jaune took off his mask and Yin's eyes widened.
Jaune: Pretty gnarly, am I right?
Jaune puts his mask back on.
Yin: I'm not the only one whose done great things. If it wasn't for you, I would have died back at Haven. Also you escaped from Salem.
Jaune: Looks like we've both done great things.
???: YIN!
Yin turned around and was hugged by his teammates.
Jade: you finally woke up!
Aaron: We were starting to get worried!
Yin: It's good to see you guys to. Hey what happened to Tock?
Standing there was Tock with both of her arms in casts.
Tock: Tyrian, lightning dust, long story.
They all giggled.
Yin: It's great to see you guys, but there is someone else I must see.
Neo POV
I woke up in the room mommy told me to stay in. I look out the window and saw the sun was going down. Something felt weird about me so I went over to a mirror. I looked in and saw my left eye was red and black.
Me: Just like daddy.

The door then opened up.
NO POV
Neo: DADDY! MOMMY!
Neo ran up to her dad and gave him a hug. Yin returned the hug and Sapphire joined in. Standing in the door was Jade, Aaron, Tock, and Roman. Yin gestured them to join and they all smiled as they joined the big hug. This family was complete once again.
Yin roamed the streets of the destroyed Atlas. All around him construction was going on to repair the city. He stopped in his tracks when he saw someone.
Yin: Hey mom.
Quill turned around and saw Yin standing there.
Quill: Y-Yin, you're awake.
Yin walked up to her and pulled her into a hug. She was taken back by this but hugged him back. Soon they separated and it was an awkward silence until Yin spoke up.
Yin: Listen, I don't forgive for what you did to me, but here's the thing. I'm willing to give you and everyone else a second chance at becoming a family again.
Quill started to tear up.
Quill: I would like that very much.
Yin smiled at her and she smiled back.
