NO POV

Ruby ran as she carried an unconscious Sapphire in her arms. Finally, she made it back to the room where everyone else was. They had just finished off another wave of ghouls. Everyone turned their attention to her.

Yang: Hey Ruby, you guys already beat Salem?

They all then noticed Sapphire in her arms.

Yang: Who's the chick?

Aaron+Jade+Roman: SAPPHIRE!

They all rushed over to Ruby.

Aaron: Where did you find her!

Jade: I cant believe she's still alive!

Weiss, Blake, and Yang were all confused.

Weiss: Ummmm, who's this?

Aaron: This is Sapphire.

Yang: Who is Sapphire exactly?

Jade: She's Yin's wife and Neo's mother.

Their eyes widened.

Blake: I thought she died.

Roman: We did too but apparently she's alive!

Jade: What happened?

Ruby: She suddenly appeared in front of me and Yin, however her skin was pale and her hair was white. Also her eyes glowed red and she was very aggressive. She attacked us, I tried to fight back but Yin wouldn't let me hurt her. Eventually I used my silver eyes and this grimm like bug crawled out of her neck. Now here we are.

Yang: What about Yin?

Ruby: He told me to get Sapphire out of here.

Weiss: We cant just leave him to fight Salem on his own.

Aaron: We have to get Sapphire medical attention.

Weiss: Did you not hear what I said?

Aaron: This woman is the most important thing to Yin. He thought she was dead for nearly 3 years. Now she suddenly turns up but looks like a grimm. Now she's back to normal and something's wrong with her. WE'RE GETTING HER OUT OF HERE!

Weiss let out a sigh

Weiss: Fine let's go.

Everyone then headed towards the front of the school.

(scene change)

Yin continued his way down the hall. Getting closer and closer to Salem.

Yin(thought): I'm also there, I can smell her.

Finally Yin arrived at his destination. It was a large room, most of the walls and floor were covered in the black material. In the middle of the room sat Salem on a throne. Yin and Salem stared at each other.

Salem: We finally meet in person Yin.

Yin: It's nice, I've been waiting nearly 3 years for this.

Salem: I know you have.

Salem then leaned on one arm.

Salem: You know it doesn't have to be like this. You could join my side. Think about it. We could rule all of Remnant together. Plus I'll spare your friends and family.

Yin began to giggle which then broke out into a laugh.

Yin: You think I would join the lady who made me think my wife was dead only for her to be turned into some puppet! I'd rather kick your ass!

Salem: You honestly think you can win? My dragon will destroy all of Atlas and my ghouls will devastate the population. And don't your semblance will allow you to win, I've had thousands of years to train.

Yin: I have one thing you don't.

Salem: And what's that?

Yin: Something worth fighting for. Something I'd already risk my life to protect.

Salem: Well that's just cheesy.

Yin made his spikes appear from his back and fired shards. Salem held up her hand and a red barrier appeared around her, blocking her from the crystals. She got up from her chair and a giant black sword formed in her hands.

Salem: It's been hundreds of years since I last fought. Try not to bore me.

Yin transformed into his Owl form.

They both became blurs. Suddenly they appeared. Their weapons clashed against each other, making sparks fly.

Yin: Not bad.

Salem: I'm only warming up.

They both became blurs again. Suddenly they appeared but disappeared again. The surrounding area was being destroyed from their collision. They kept on reappearing and disappearing over and over again. Suddenly they appeared again and jumped back from each other. Yin charged but Salem held up her hand and multiple orbs of red energy shot out. Yin used his blades to block but a few grazed his skin. Suddenly Salem was in front of him. She swung her sword and hit Yin in the gut, causing blood to spill out. 

Yin got launched back by the force, luckily he quickly got up. Salem fired more red orbs and Yin fired his spikes. The orbs and spikes destroyed each other, however a few got by and hit both Yin and Salem. Yin and Salem charged again, both swinging their weapons rapidly. The ground began to crack due to the force of their power. Salem went to stab Yin but he stepped to the side and managed to cut Salem's cheek. Yin jumped back as Salem smirked.

Salem: First time in awhile since I bled. 

Yin: There's a lot more to come.

Yin ran at Salem and swung his blades. Salem ducked and slashed Yin's left side. Salem went to slash Yin across his chest but he jumped back. Yin then lunged forwards and stabbed Salem in her left shoulder. Salem swung her sword but Yin dodged it. He then cut Salem's right arm and lower abdomen. Yin swung downwards with both of his blades but Salem got out of the way. She then stabbed Yin in the chest and in the lower chest. These two began to cover each other in cuts, making blood shoot out everywhere. It went on like this for a few minutes until they leapt back.

They both were breathing heavy as their cuts began to heal. Yin charged again but Salem fired a beam of red energy. Yin used his blades to block himself from the attack, however Salem used this as a distraction. When the light faded, Salem was in front of Yin. She cut off Yin's left blade and then swung around. cutting his back and then right side. She went to go stab Yin but he used his right blade to block.

They were at another standoff. The intensity of their power once again caused the floor beneath to crumble as the wind picked up.

Salem: The last time I fought someone this powerful was Ozpin!

Yin: Strange coincidence, I killed him last week!

Salem: I should thank you for that, but it would rather be more fun to kill you!

Yin: Good luck with that!

Yin's left blade grew back. He used it to break through Salem's defense. He then stabbed Salem in the chest with both of his blades. Salem spat out blood. Yin then grabbed Salem by her head and lifted her into the air.

Yin: This is for Sapphire.

He then threw Salem into her thrown, destroying it.

Yin: See you ya decaying witch.

Yin turned to leave until he heard laughter. From the dust rose Salem. Her dress was ripped and her hair was starting to become undone. She also had a psychotic look on her face.

Salem: For the first time in my life, nobody has ever pushed me this far. But I'll be

The whole room began to shake as Salem raised her hand.

Salem

Multiple tendrils with mouths bursted into the room, all going for Yin. The tendrils circled Yin. He spun around and began to slice off the tendrils. However one tendril got past him, and it took a chunk out of his shoulder. Soon other tendrils began to rip pieces off of Yin, soon he wouldn't be able to keep regenerating. His blood was going everywhere. While he was distracted Salem picked up her sword. 

She then threw it at Yin, landing directly in his chest. Salem then charged up a large beam of red energy and fired it at Yin. It hit him head on, creating a large explosion. When the dust settled Yin was lying in a crater, his transformation destroyed.

He was breathing heavy.

Salem:

Yin: The last time this happened was Vale, even then I continued to fight and got stronger.

Salem:

Yin: My friends are the reason I fight. And now I need to fight harder than I ever did before.

Salem raised her hand again and more tendrils popped out of the ground. The wrapped around Yin, restraining him.

Salem:

The tendrils started to tighten around Yin. He screamed in pain as he spat out blood and his bones could be heard breaking.

Salem:

Yin: At the cost of millions of lives all across Remnant!

Salem:

Yin: I know my past, and I'm here today the repent my sins. I will make up for what I've done in the past. 

Salem simply made the tendrils around Yin tighten. 

Yin(thought): I'm sorry everyone, I wasn't strong enough. I'm sorry Sapphire, I wont be able to protect neo anymore. 

Yin POV

Memories came rushing to my mind. When I first opened up Anteiku. When I met Sapphire. When Neo was born. All of us working in the café, living a nice life. I started to cry as I remembered these events. Suddenly I see a bright life. When the light fades away I see someone standing there.

Me: Dad?

Dad: Hey Yin, long time no see.

I looked down.

Me: Guess I'm dead.

Dad: No you're not.

I was surprised by this and raised my head back up.

Dad: Yin listen to me, you gotta keep fighting. I wasn't able to be there to raise you but you can be there for your family.

Me: How, I don't have the strength?

Dad: Unlock your true power.

Me: What true power?

Dad: Remember every happy memory you had. Use it yo fuel your will to keep on going. I know you'll win this.

I smiled at him

Me: Thanks dad.

Dad smiles back and then fades away. I do as he did and remembered every happy memory I have. I start to feel power surge throughout my body.

Me: He's right, I wont let them die! I WILL WIN THIS!

NO POV

A bright light emerged from Yin. I filled the entire room as a strong wind was created. Salem was taken back by this.

Salem:

Yin:

Something popped out of Yin's back that destroyed the tendrils.

The entire room became covered in rainbow light. It started to engulf everything.

Salem:

Her sentence was cut short as she was engulfed in the light.

(scene change)

Outside the battle raged on between humans and ghouls. Suddenly everyone stopped as they saw a rainbow light emerge from the academy. It seemed the entire light engulfed all of Atlas. When the light died down, everyone saw what happened. The dragon turned to stone.

Salem POV

When I open my eyes I'm in nothing but pitch black. I grit my teeth in anger.

Me: Dammit, I cant die. I'm immortal!

???: Sorry Salem, but it's the truth.

I look up and see a man standing there. It was Ozma.

Me: You!

I fall to the ground and try to crawl away as he approaches me. It proves to futile as he gets right in front of me. He reaches out towards me and I close my eyes. However all I fell is a gentle hand cradling my face. I open my eyes and see Ozma smiling.

Me: What are you doing?

Ozma: I missed you.

Me: Why, after everything I've done. After all the chaos and trouble I caused. After all the people I've-

Ozma silent me with a kiss. The kiss was warm and gentle and I soon melt into it. When he pulls away I notice something happening to me. My skin starts to turn back to normal as well as my hair. 

I stare at myself.

Me: W-Why did you do this, after everything I've done?

Ozma: I don't hate you Salem, you were lead done a wrong path, like Yin. However you didn't have people there to help you. But now you do.

The area around us fades away. In it's place is a beautiful meadow filled with flowers. In the distance there is a small lake and a single tree. Under the tree I notice 4 little girls which makes me tear up. Ozma holds out his hand once again.

Ozma: Ready to go?

I take his hand and we both head off into the after life.
