After that incident where Cole comforted Lili, they became close once again, talking a lot and hanging out a lot. They both missed each other, not only their friendship, but their love as well.

2 weeks after Lili's grandfather's death, she was hanging out with Thomas, no she didn't like him romantically, in her heart will always be Cole and only Cole, but she didn't want to admit that to herself.

She and Thomas were posting Instagram stories of each other, and Cole was jealous, really jealous, although he would never admit it. He didn't like her with other guys, especially the ones he was insecure of

Elsewhere, Thomas asked Lili a question he's been wanting to ask her for while, it came across the subject of other celebs' breakups,

L: Oh my god, have you heard that there are suspicions that Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello broke up?

T: Yes Lili, there are suspicions, but I personally don't think that they broke up, they seem so in love with one another! Anyways, the saddest breakups of last year, 2020, include everybody's favorite Riverdale couple, you and Cole. You're still friends, aren't you?

L: Yes, Thomas, we are, or at least I think so.

T: Oh.

He (Thomas) decided not to push forward the subject if she didn't like to talk about it, it must've been hard for her.

T: Lili, I wanted to let you know that we're here for you always, me, Cami, Mads, Venessa, KJ, Charles, Madchen, everyone cares about you, I'm here if you want to talk.

L: Thanks Tom, (hugs him).
