ahead of him, his arm wrapped tightly around his younger sibling as she cried, watching as their older brother was dragged from their house and bound by the wrist, forced into a police car. Scott and Stiles had yet to speak to the twins, however that was the last thing they were thinking about and the last thing they wanted at that moment in time. They were too busy worrying about their brother and their deceased sister to care about the two boys whom had caused the mess. However, that did not mean that the twins were not angry at them.

Oh, the twins were brimmed with blind rage and fury for the two. This was obvious from Jaden, he hadn't shown any emotion other than anger for the past ten minutes. Whereas, Eleanor had thrown herself into a state of distraught and frenzy that she could not shake as she tried desperately to make eye contact with her elder sibling through the glass of the police car window.

She pulled away from her twin's grip around her shoulder and stumbled over to Noah Stilinski without giving it another thought, trying desperately to hold herself together with what little she had left. The two best friends of the girl widened their eyes at her state, also catching the attention of the sheriff himself as she halted in front of him, her eyes cast downwards. When her eyes linked with the elder man's, it was almost as if he could read from her eyes what she was feeling.

"Please." She pleaded, her eyes glossed and red from the cries that had slipped only minutes previously. "Please can I talk to him, just before you take him away."

Noah sighed, holding up his wrist to read his watch as he sighed, nodding hesitantly. She sighed in relief at his answer and immediately turned for the vehicle Derek was being held in, stopping in her steps before she continued.

"Oh, and Noah?" She twisted her body to face him one last time as he raised an eyebrow at her. "He didn't do this. I know my brother, my brother wouldn't kill family, wouldn't kill anyone."

With that, she took off towards the Sheriff's car, scrambling into the back seat where she was separated by crossed bars from her brother. She held on to the bars desperately, clinging to them as if they would bring them closer to Derek. He sighed at her traumatised state and leaned closer, trying to give Eleanor the comfort she needed within the confined space they had together, nodding reassuringly to tell her that it was okay.

"I'll get you out. I promise Der, i'll get you out." Derek shook his head at his younger sibling calmly.

"Don't worry about me El, they'll let me out as soon as they realise that they've got the wrong person. I need you to keep an eye on McCall and Stilinski for me while i'm gone though." He inquired.

Eleanor scowled at his plead, immediately disliking what she had been asked to do. "They did this to you Der, you're going to jail because of them! I don't want to be anywhere near them-"

"They are your best friends El, I know what they did was wrong, and unbelievably stupid, but you need them. And because of how stupid they've been, you need to look out for Scott while I'm away. He can't take care of himself, he and Stiles are too naive." Eleanor sighed, looking down to the vehicles floor.

"What are we doing without you? Jaden and I aren't eighteen yet, we can't stay on our own. I'm worried about you." Eleanor looks up to meet Derek's sympathetic gaze, his eyes filled with unfathomable emotions.

"I promise, I'll sort it all out. I already talked to the Sheriff, you're staying with him and Stiles and Jaden is staying at Melissa and Scott's, just until i get out. You'll be back with me in no time, I'm not leaving you. Alright?"

Eleanor nodded weakly, not at all agreeing with her housing accommodation, not allowing herself to speak out about it as Stiles entered the car, leaving Derek's posture stiff and his body language closed. "I just want to know something. The girl you - Laura, she was a werewolf, but she was a different kind, wasn't she? I mean, she could turn herself into an actual wolf, and I know Scott, Jaden and Nora can't do that. Is that why you killed her?"

The last sentence caused Eleanor's blood to boil, and Derek glared at her when her eyes began glowing the familiar purple, making her groan in dissatisfaction and calm herself down. "He didn't kill her Stiles. She was our sister, we loved her."

"Why are you so worried about us when it's Scott that's the problem? When he shifts on the field in front of everyone, what do you think is going to happen, huh? Just keep cheering him on? No. I can't stop him because of your dumbass decisions, but you Jaden and El can. And trust me, you want to."

Before Stiles could think of a whitty reply, the Sheriff approached his police car in search for El. "Alright El, i'm going to have to take him to the station no - Stiles what the hell do you think you're doing? Get out of the damn car!" With that, he was pulled from the backseat into the surroundings of the forest, leaving the siblings alone.

"El, look at me. I promise, I'll be out as soon as I can. I love you, alright?" Her heart swelled at the comment, knowing that Derek wasn't usually a man of affection.

She sighed, rubbing her eyes. "I'm holding you to that. I'll see you later, love you too."

With one last longing glance at her elder sibling, Eleanor stepped out of the car just in time for Sheriff to finish yelling at his son about the situation of previous events. She gave a half hearted smile at Noah as he sighed, walking closer to the fragile girl. "Are you alright sweetheart?"

She merely shook her head, trying to rid her mind of her emotions as she turned toward the house. "I'm going to get my stuff, Derek told me I was staying at yours. What do I need to bring?"

"Just bring your school bag for now and some pajamas. We can always come back and get more of your stuff." She nodded and entered the house again, grabbing the blanket that had fallen to the floor earlier as she climbed the stairs to her room.

Jaden followed closely behind, picking up his belongings for the McCall household like Eleanor was doing for the Stilinski's. It only took Jaden a few minutes, and so after he had finished stuffing some of his possessions into his backpack, he made his way to his sisters room and sat down on her bed, watching her as she hurried around the room, trying to distract herself.

He observed his twin for the estimated time of two minutes before deciding that she needed to stop worrying herself and needed to find comfort in the sibling she still had. He grabbed her hands that had just finished pushing her phone charger into her bag and stood up, pulling her into his chest as she sighed, clinging onto him as she found comfort in his arms.

She stared up at him, her eyes still red. "Jade, are you okay?"

"What? Uh, yeah." He coughed, trying to hide the emotions from his voice as she sighed, breathing in the scent of his cologne as she connected to him. An abundance of emotions flooded through her mind and she frowned at the obvious lie he had told. Jaden wasn't fine at all.

"Hey." She called softly, catching his attention. "It's okay not to be. I'm sure as bloody well not, just don't lie? I don't want you keeping stuff from me."

He rubbed her back soothingly, apologising for his lie as he rested his chin on her head. "Are you sure you'll be okay with staying at Stiles' on your own? I can always ask Sheriff if I can stay with you and-"

"I'll be fine." Eleanor reassured, giving him one last tight squeeze before letting go of her twin brother, stepping backwards as she picked up the duffle bag laying on her bed. "Besides, it'll only be for a few days right? And we can call each other all the time, we still have school too."

He nodded in agreement, following her out of her room and down the stairs, opening the door to greet the cool air of the preserve. They shut the door behind them and gazed at the house, turning to look at one another before they departed. "You'll be alright, won't you?"

Jaden rolled his eyes. "Of course I will, I'll text you when I get to Scott's."

"And i'll text you when I get to Stiles'." The siblings enveloped each other into one last hug, Scott, Stiles, Melissa and Noah watching from a distance as they parted. "I'll see you later."

The trip from the Hale house to the Stilinski residents was filled with awkward silence that they had never endured before. Eleanor had been extremely close to the family from a young age and it had never been awkward or uncomfortable between them until now. You could cut the tension with a knife and Eleanor could not calm out of the police vehicle fast enough as they pulled up to the all too familiar house.

Nothing was said as they walked through the front door, the only sound was from Sheriff as he dropped his keys and his badge on the table, slipping his shoes off his feet and shrugging his jacket off. Without a word, Eleanor made her way upstairs and into the spare room, dampening Stiles mood as he watched from where he stood in his door frame.

Eleanor almost always stayed in his room when she slept round, had since they were eight years old. From this action, Stiles could tell that he and Scott had really fucked up this time. The two were just so sure that they were right about Derek, after all, he had given the pair plenty of reason not to trust him. But Stiles knew that that didn't change what had happened, it didn't change the fact that Derek was Eleanor and Jaden's brother, the only sibling they had left.

And so, while Eleanor went to sleep alone, Stiles was joined with the many worrying thoughts consuming his mind. He didn't sleep at all that night, and neither did she.

next morning, Jaden had almost forgotten what had happened. He had woken up in the McCall's spare bedroom in a daze, however the memories of what had happened before and after arriving at the McCall's house had flooded into his brain.

He groaned in frustration and jumped up, grabbing his back pack, rummaging through it until he found his cellphone.

He and Eleanor had a long discussion when arriving at their separate locations, communicating through the phone for the majority of two hours. Eleanor had informed him that the Sheriff had decided that a day off of school would be the beneficial option for the twins, they had both gone through a high amount of stress last night and it was best for them to have some well deserved rest.

However, that did not mean Jaden was missing his lacrosse game. He refused the thought and Eleanor agreed, she knew how much the sport meant to her brother; besides, Eleanor had promised Derek that she would keep an eye on Scott and Stiles and Jaden knew that it was the right thing to do. They had both decided that they would attend the game together and while Jaden was playing and watching Scott from the field, Eleanor would be another eye on the sidelines to make sure everything was okay.

The down side to this plan, though necessary, was that Eleanor was forced to spend the whole game next to Stiles, of whom she was not on the best of terms with. That meant there would most likely be communication between the two that Eleanor did not want to happen.

Jaden sighed, double checking to see if Eleanor had gotten any information from Stilinski about their older brother, frowning as he received no notifications. He locked his device and checked his watch, reading the time Melissa had given him the whole day to rest, but Jaden was already wide awake and starting to miss his sister and brother. If anything, he wanted to go to school, just to feed his unoccupied and dull brain, for he had nothing to do as a guest at the McCalls.

Scott was off to school, like Jaden was supposed to be, and Melissa had a long shift at the hospital, however was taking time off to watch the lacrosse game that night. The house was completely empty and so he went back to sleep.

Eleanor had spent her time rather differently. She had awoken at and had stolen Stiles' top, hoodie and pulled on a pair of her old leggings that she had spare at the Stilinski's, in case of emergency. Thankfully, she had avoided Stiles completely and woken up nearly two hours after he had left for school, and so Sheriff was the only one home.

The next half an hour of her time was spent pleading with the Sheriff to let her come to the police station with him, as she already knew that she would be struck with boredom if she were to stay at home. Eventually, Noah gave into her and they arrived at the police station at .

Eleanor was well aware that her brother was somewhere in the building, and that he was caged in a cell for something he did not do, but she tried to cast her mind off of this information and she focused her day on trying to assist Sheriff in anything he may of needed.

A shrill ring made Eleanor jump out of the Sheriff's comfy chair behind his desk, startling her from her daydream. She searched through the papers mounting the wooden desk until she found her vibrating mobile.

"Jaden?"

"Stiles just called. Scott wolfed out and ran off on him in the middle of the preserve because they had the wolfsbane from." Her twin coughed, uncomfortable with the thought, "From last night."

Eleanor cursed, standing up from her seat and rushing to the door, flinging it open to reveal Sheriff standing behind Parrish. "Check Allison's, he might of gone there. She might be in danger, get there fast. I'll talk to Stiles."

With that, the phone was disconnected and Eleanor noticed a sigh fall from Officer Hurley's lips. "Stiles, you know you can't call the dispatch line while I'm on duty!"

Eleanor paid extra attention to what Stiles was saying on the other end, scoffing when she heard him describe Scott as a 'dog - like individual'.

"I'm hanging up on you now." She drawled, rolling her eyes at the Sheriff's son as Eleanor raced toward her desk, snatching the phone from her hands, giving her a tight lipped smile.

Hurley only laughed sarcastically. "Of course it's you. Eleanor, what are you doing here?"

Instead of answering the question, Eleanor focused on the conversation with Stiles. "Stiles? You still there?"

"Wait what? Yeah, Eleanor?"

Bored of the situation, Hurley stood up from her desk, walking over to a stack of files next to Officer Hague, beginning to flip through them for a specific set of information about her case.

"Listen, I sent Jaden to Allison's house. He's going to call me if he finds Scott. You need to get your ass back to school and hope that he turns up." Stiles laughed softly, but agreed, turning on the engine as Eleanor heard it rifle in the background.

"Alright Nora, got it. Are you coming tonight?"

Eleanor almost felt awkward talking to Stiles, as if she hadn't done this her whole life, it was odd. "Uh, yeah I am. I promised I'd keep an eye on you two."

Everything was silent for a couple of minutes, and just before Stiles hung up, she spoke. "Oh and Stiles? 'Dog - like individual', really?"

from Jaden and a short car ride journey to the School's lacrosse pitch with Noah Stilinski, and the game had started. Scott was found at Allison's, just like Eleanor had expected, and everyone had taken their seats to watch the game.

Eleanor departed from Noah as he met up with Melissa, sitting a few seats away from Lydia, Allison and her father, Chris. Eleanor tried to avoid the hunter as much as possible, sitting next to Stiles on the bench as they bit their nails in suspense.

They cringed as yet another ball flew past Beacon Hills' goalkeeper and into the rivalling teams score. Eleanor had began to discern a pattern, and caught on to what Jackson had planned for the game as she listen to him demand that they do not pass to Scott.

She growled lowly, making sure nobody would hear her annoyance as Lydia and Allison held up a sign to comfort and cheer Jackson. Eleanor rolled her eyes at this, trying to focus on the game as Stiles sighed, rubbing a hand across his face.

"Nora, I'm sorry."

The statement came out of the blue, however it was rightfully told. Stiles should have said this earlier. "I really am. I know I messed up, I know that we did the wrong thing, but you've got to see it from our point of view. Everything adds up."

This was not what Eleanor wanted nor needed to hear. "Stiles, you took my older brother, my authority figure from me not even 24 hours after I found out that my sister was no longer breathing. I have to watch the two boys that put Derek in jail just because a certain someone cannot control themselves and will not listen to the only person who knows how to help him. I am not in the mood for an apology right now Stilinski. I love both of you dearly, but right now, I'm finding it hard to understand why."

With that, no other exchanges were made between them. They watched as Scott had been passed the ball and grew excited as he made shot after shot with Jaden, however both of them knew Scott was far from normal. He had somehow managed to force his opponent to freely give him the ball, had done more magnificent manoeuvres than they could count and had sent the ball through the goalkeepers net and into the goal.

Although, at the end of the match, Beacon Hill High had one and there was more or less nothing to worry or fret about. This was until the three friends lost sight of the new werewolf. All of them headed to where Stilinski stood, a phone clamped to his ear as his forehead creased in confusion.

He ended the call and looked up, smiling softly at the twins as Stiles questioned his father. "Dad? What's wrong?"

"Derek's been let out of jail, the killer was an animal and we can't hold him any longer. And we also got the girl's ID." Sheriff sighed in empathy. "I'm sorry about your sister."

The words that had left the man's mouth made Eleanor's eyes well with tears, and she flung her arms around Jaden as he sighed in relief, hugging her tenderly as he stared at Stiles' shocked expression.

He nudged the boy slightly. "Hey, go and find Scott and make sure he's alright."

Stiles nodded and took off toward the locker room as Sheriff disappeared too, moments later returning with an all too familiar broody young man stood beside him.

Eleanor smiled gleefully and jogged towards him, allowing Derek to wrap the twins in his toned arms, breathing heavily in contempt as he looked down at his family. Eleanor refused to let go of him, instead leaning her head on his shoulder as he kissed her forehead, ruffling Jaden's hair in the meantime.

"I told you guys, I'm not going anywhere."
