An the cemetery of Seoul, in front of his loved one's tomb, sat a broken man, shedding tears of pain and sorrow. Nothing, not even the salty deops that left his eyes had the capacity to pacify the storm in his heart, or make him feel any amount of comfort.
His gaze turned to the name that was engraved on the hard rock, wanting to find a name that wasn't her's, wanting for this catastrophic phenomenon that shook his life and teared him apart, to only be a dream, or perhaps, a nightmare that he'll eventually be able to escape.
But this was reality, and not even a witch's spell could change that.
Reality was harsh, cruel, and he had to accept it for the sake of himself. But he couldn't.
Accepting reality meant moving on.
But how? How can he move on and live life to the fullest, when eveything about it was related to her, when his existence was related in every sort and way possible to his one and only?
He stared at the bouquet of Lilies, Carnations and Orchids in his hand, before placing it on top of the grave gently, muttering an 'i will always love you Lilac.' Afterward.
He swore that he heard her voice. He swore that he heard a soft 'i'm sorry, Jinwoo.'
But he shrugged it off, thinking that they were only hallucinations made up by his desperate mind.
He made his way out of the cemetery, and walked down the path that led to the park. The weather was cold as it was nearly october. He tightened the scarf around his neck, burrying burying half of his face under it.
He felt empty.
After all, how was he supposed to feel when the one he loved left him in the most horrible way?

He entered the park, sitting on a bench afterwards. He took out an envelope out of his coat's pocket, and he didn't know if he was ready to open it or not.
That envelope held a letter that Lilac left him. Realising that she spent time to write him a letter before she left, he decided to read it.
He inhaled deeply, exhaled, and his hands were shaking; not because of the cold, but because of fear. He didn't know what this piece of paper held for him.
He opened it.
Hello, Jinwoo! It's me, Lilac.
If you're reading this, it's too late. I'm sorry for leaving like this, but i just couldn't take anything anymore. I just feel so useless, and it hurts me to see the one i love look at someone else the same way i do.
I know that committing suicide is wrong. And i'm definitely going to rot in hell for that. But it was so tempting. I swear that i can hear the little pills call me to swallow them. And i will do it.
Anyways, i just want to tell you that i already know that you have feelings for me, you confessed to me once when you were drunk. You probably don't remember. But i'm just curious, why? What was so attractive in me that caught your attention? I mean, i'm not pretty nor do i have a good personality, and i'm full of scars, physically and mentally. But i really thank you for looking after me. I feel guilty for leaving this way. My departure will probably hurt you. And i'm deeply sorry for that. But i really want you to move on and live your life. Find someone else who's better than me.
That's all i have to say. I'm so sorry.

Love, Lilac.
So she knew he had feelings for her. But she didn't even thing about him, about how she flipped his life upside down.
Maybe he was just a source of comfort to her. After all, he was never on her mind. She felt nothing toward him. Of course he was going to be taken advantage of.
He sighed in melancholy, feeling his eyes water. Reality hit him hard.
He was now all alone, no family, no friends, no Lilac.
Sudden dark thoughts of taking his life away flooded his mind, but he blocked them out of his system. He didn't want to make a mistake as much as the thoughts were seductive.
So he chose to fight his depression, or at least try.
He looked up at the cafe on the other side of the road, only to see the lovely couple who were unaware of the incidents that happened because of them.
He stared at them in envy and hatred, as they fed each other and looked at each other happily.
But at the end he sighed and turned his gaze to the floor. His feelings of hate weren't going to help bringing back his love in any way, so he might as well just let them live their life. It wasn't their fault anyways, it was Lilac's. She chose to not move on. She chose to give up and surrender.
He gently put the letter back in his pocket, before heading back home.
The petite said, sighing in content as he snuggled to his husband.
They were currently laying on the grass in their backyard. They had a fun day wandering around the city, and this was an even more fun way to end it.
Chanyeol said, staring intensely at his lover. Baekhyun blushed a bit, before leaning in slowly.
He said in a soft, gentle voice that sounded almost like a whisper. He stared at his husband's plump lips. They were so tempting that he just wanted to feel them on his, and taste every inch of them.
The petite whined, pouting afterward.
The giant chuckled a bit, before placing his lips on his lover's. They kissed in slow motion, both of them letting out the love and passion they had for each other. Once they felt out of breath, they parted away, panting.
The taller said, smiling at his husband who started blushing crimson red, and hid his face in his chest.
He let out a laugh, before hugging the life out of him. He closed his eyes and smiled widely, loving the warmness of his lover.

The Gates which strike Orinthian with ever-growing frequency and pour upon these war-hardened cities merciless invading hordes of monsters from other dimensions who seek to pillage, burn, and slaughter everything that stands in their way. Please Note this is my first attempt at a litRPG. I also ask that you keep an open mind as I will be diverging, in my own way, from many of the litRPG stories I have read. For those of you who missed it, this is a Multiple Lead Characters story, hence the tag. I should also mention that this will get crunchy as far as numbers go and please pay attention to the Profanity tag.

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
