"We have to get you out of here, Felicity. We don't have much time," Katherine said while grabbing my arm and walking me out of the room.
Dimitrius stayed behind us in case anything happened. In my mind, I did not know what to do. Of course, my longing for the vampires would be gone if I came back with them but what would happen with the witches?
They did not treat me in any way that made me want to run away from them so it wouldn't be fair if I just disappear. On the other hand, they were also the first ones who took me away from where I was a week ago.
Genevieve, Amara, and Odette, they became close friends with me, they treated me like their own daughter. My family and some of the other friends I made in this territory were also some of the reasons why I'm having second thoughts before leaving.
So I stopped Katherine from dragging me further and turned to face Dimitrius' frown. "It would not be fair," I told them which they answered with the word, "nonsense."
"Taking me away will create a war between your kind and theirs. I'm sure we can talk this out with them, Dimitrius." I told him but he shrugged it off.
"They were the ones who took you first, Felicity. Don't think that I'm the one being unfair," he said and grabbed my hand once more. Too late, Jonathan already woke up and we could hear his frantic screams.
"Felicity's gone!" He shouted and like a lightning, Odette and her people appeared, surrounding all of us. Hundreds of them against the three of us, we were outnumbered.
One of the witches used a spell to place a barricade throughout the whole territory. There's no escape at all. Dimitrius stood in front of me as if trying to protect me and Katherine stood behind me, shielding me from any harm.
"Let go of her!" The witches protested but if anything, it made Dimitrius and Katherine hold onto me tighter. I didn't know if Dimitrius felt it but as soon as his hands grabbed me, I felt what seemed like a shoot of electricity.

"It didn't have to come to this, Odette," Dimitrius spoke and I wondered what he was talking about but then, all of his vampires came and they were all ready for a fight.
I recognized most of them including Hayden. What struck me the most was that they didn't show an ounce of fear as to what the sorcerers could do to them. They were ready for war but was it really the solution?
"You failed to protect her, vampire king," Genevieve mocked while giving emphasis to his title. Dimitrius did not fail to protect me from any harm because I'm standing here, alive.
"I would have felt it if Felicity were in any harm, Genevieve. You took her away from me and you gave her a potion to block my connection to her, didn't you, Odette?" He answered back. So how did they find me if I was poisoned to be hidden?
"We all know that she would not be safe if she stays behind your walls, Dimitrius. For all we know, some of your vampires are Dominic's servants," Amara butted in.
The three of them against Dimitrius didn't stop arguing until I have had enough. If there was someone to put a stop to this, it is me. How can they stand in front of me, fighting to whom I should stay with, acting as if I could not hear a thing?
Vampires and witches are too protective of from the prophecy but for myself to prove that I am not weak and easy to manipulate, I must stand for myself.
"Stop!" I yelled and got everyone's attention turned to me. I stepped out of Dimitrius and Katherine's grip and took a moment to see the scene in front of me.
Witches and vampires facing each other, ready to attack and kill. They were supposed to maintain peace among themselves yet by a simple complication, they were all ready to let go of that serenity.
"I want my family back in our home, after all, they are humans. They don't fit in with the sorcerers nor the vampires. I know that they've ruled ruthlessly amongst all vampires but as the present queen of the humans, I tolerate that no more," I firmly stated.

"So you plan on going back to the human kingdom?" Dimitrius turned his head to me and asked. "Yes because that's the only way of preventing an act of war," I answered him.
"And how will the supernatural creatures benefit from your decision?" Genevieve and the other witches questioned.
"I will allow and welcome all of you to my home. As long as peace is maintained, the balance between all kinds would remain."
Letting witches and vampires reside with us, humans, won't be as easy as how I just said it but I know that it's the best possible way of staying with them and not have them fight before my eyes.
"You want us to live in your territory? How would it manage all of the witches and vampires, Felicity? You're being ridiculous!" Odette disagreed along with some others.
"I will let the witches transform our territory however they like through their magic and I would give permission to the vampires to drink blood from willing and consented humans," I added back.
Thinking of how the witches would change our homes into a much greener environment did not matter to me at all. I know how they preferred living in nature and through the earth's elements.
However, I didn't know how vampires would agree with what I have offered them. Humans hated vampires for as long as I could remember. Getting someone to let you drink their blood was surely hard for them.
"Have you even given time to think about what you just said, Felicity? If I remember, queens are not impulsive because they're known to be smart," Amara said and tried to hide the fact that she has offended me in some way.
"Well, a moment earlier you were all ready to kill each other just because everyone wanted me to stay in their territories. As a queen, I would rather choose the option to keep everyone alive," I spoke loud enough which earned nods of agreement from some of the vampires and witches.
Still, Dimitrius stayed silent and he didn't look at me for the time being. "I will order my warriors to back off and we could all settle this with such civilization," Odette suggested.
"Hayden, fifth order" Dimitrius spoke and everyone understood what he meant. His warriors that were in their combat position stood up and took steps backward.
Just like them, Odette also ordered the sorcerers to do the same and the higher ranks including me were ushered to the witches' kingdom where I have hardly ever been.
Genevieve, Amara, and Odette sat next to each other while I sat in front of them in between Dimitrius and Katherine. Like what Odette said earlier, we all settled like civil people.
"Now, we can talk," Dimitrius said obviously. What was there to talk about if they still both wanted me to stay either with the vampires or the witches?
"So none of you will agree to my proposal?" I asked them and they all shook their heads.
"Felicity, we care about your safety and protection. Our power comes from our own lands just like how the vampires do. Without being in our territory, how can we assure your state of being?" Genevieve explained rather than asked.
I was about to answer when the doors opened once more and all of them turned their heads to see who it was.
Then, I heard someone spoke, "Don't you think I deserve a part in this conversation?" Who was he to barge into us just like that?
"Lorenzo," everyone said in unison yet here I was, still unable to know what was going on. Lorenzo didn't pay attention to any of them because his eyes stared directly at me. He shook his head to Dimitrius and the witches before introducing himself to me,
"Alpha Lorenzo."
