《I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY MANAGER (JENLISA)》CHAPTER 9

A sudden splash of water woke my senses. I was in an unfamiliar space, sitting on a wooden chair with my hands tied behind my back.
Imagine a cliché hostaging scenario?
This was it.
I can tell that I've been tied here for hours because of the numbness and lightheadedness that I feel. The last thing that I remember was when I was following a familiar figure then somebody attacked me from behind leaving me unconscious.
"You look so calm" a cold voice echoed in the room. My knees grew weak and my hands trembled in fear but I didn't allow her to see through me.
She slowly walked closer to me. I tried to keep an expressionless face but when her face got illuminated by the light, I can't help myself but be surprised.
"MIKA?! YOU?!"
"Surprised?"
"How—I mean, why?"
"You! You ruined my dear brother's life and you still have a knack for forgetting things?"
"I don't...I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Jake. That's his name. You were his classmate in middle school."
"Jake?"
"I am his sister. He was living an ordinary student life until you transferred, made friends with him, and lead him on."
"I don't remember leading people on!"
"That's because you don't care at all. He got his hopes up but then you treated all other guys the same. You were such a flirt!"
"I just talked nicely to others, that's all! It's not my fault that they took it differently—that they got the wrong idea!"
"Wrong idea?! My brother was put behind bars because of you! He loved you but then you ruined him!" she roughly cupped my face. There was anger in her eyes—a burning rage that won't just die down.

She raised her hand in an attempt to slap me but she stopped when we heard someone clapping from behind.
"Woahhhh. I should've brought some popcorn"
I know that voice.
It was Lisa!
How did she find me? How did she get here?
"L-lisa? H-how did—"
"If I were to rate your BIASED story-telling from 10 to 0....that would be 0. Why? Because I'm afraid you forgot to tell some parts...some important parts."
"Shut the f*ck up! What do you know anyway?!"
Lisa let out a fake laugh then her face straightened. Her aura is scary that even I can't find words to speak.
"Jennie didn't ruin your brother's life. Your brother....or should I say your step-brother ruined his own life."
What? Step-brother? How did she know all this?
"H-how—" Mika was appalled by the things Lisa knew.
"He can't accept the fact that Jennie has nothing to offer him but friendship and so he stalked her, threatened her, and made her mentally miserable. You should've known how inconvenient it is to have someone steal your peace of mind but then you were eaten by jealousy...you were blinded by that wicked feeling because your step-brother couldn't look at you the way he looked at Jennie."
"What are you talking about Lisa?" I asked, muddled. Mika was taken aback by the facts coming out from a total stranger who didn't even know where our school was located.
"They were technically siblings but they aren't related by blood because Mika was adopted and—"
"Shut up! Stop right there or else I'll cut this rope and let the love of your life be crushed to death"
I looked up only to see a pile of logs hanging above me. Lisa just looked at her. There was no fear in her eyes but pity.

"Tell me Mika...who ruined your brother's life?"
Mika stood in silence for a minute then she started laughing like a maniac.
She's really a psycho!
"You think that would move me? Well, you're too late" Mika hastily cut the rope off. The next thing I knew was that somebody pushed me off the ground. It was followed by a loud thud as if someone bumped into something hard. I opened my eyes and saw Lisa, there was blood flowing from her head.
"Bam! Now!" Lisa shouted and a sound from a gun occupied the place. Mika fell off lifeless while holding a pistol on her hand.
A man came out from the shadows and freed me. I rushed unto Lisa who was already covered in her own blood. She was still lying on the ground and now unconscious.
"Lisa-yah!" I tried to wake her but she didn't open her eyes. I didn't realize that I was already crying so hard. The man got down on our level and checked Lisa's breathing and pulse, then he gave me a comforting smile.
"Don't worry. She will be fine. She passes out everytime she sees blood."
We brought Lisa to the nearest hospital and it happened to be where Mina works.
I examined the man's face who is now looking at Lisa intently and I must say, he is quite good-looking.
"You should ask me questions and not just stare at me" I was startled when he spoke with his eyes still stuck on Lisa who was sleeping peacefully.
"What's your name and what is your relationship with Lisa?"
"I'm Bambam. Lisa is my bestfriend. I worked at the National Intelligence Unit"
"How did you find me?"
"Lisa put a tracking device on your phone and I helped her figure out who is behind all this"
He stood up and put his backpack on.
"Are you leaving?"
"Yeah. I still got things to patch. Please tell Lisa that I'll fix things fast"
"O-okay. Thank you Bambam."
I locked the door when Bambam left. It's been an hour and Lisa is still unconscious. I held her hand and squeezed it lightly.
"Lisa-yah...wake up now please? I promise I'll be better. I still need to tell you that...
I love you, Lisa."

The Dungeon Calls for a Sage
Archimedes was the ego behind one of the most powerful dungeons ever created. He grew and developed his halls, filling them with powerful monsters and beasts, over the course of thousands of years. He was a grand structure of ten thousand floors which even heroes had failed to defeat. However, an Evil God had come from another world, calling himself the Demon King, and a party of heroes were sent to do battle with it. Through their victory, they obtained enough strength to breeze through Archimedes' dungeon like it was nothing. Forseeing the end of his life, and realizing how pointless his pursuit of power had been, Archimedes destroyed himself, taking the heroes down with him. Still, Archimedes felt despair that he had lived a worthless life as something as pitiful and futile as a dungeon. Sensing his regret and potential, the voice of the world presented Archimedes with the chance to start anew and live a more meaningful life. Thrilled and hopeful for the first time in eons, Archimedes accepted the offer, only to be reborn again as a dungeon core with not a single room or monster to his name. Just what was the meaning of this?! Archimedes couldn't figure out what the voice of the world was thinking. Somehow, he would have to draw a sage into his dungeon to figure it out for him. _______________________ DCS is now a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying end.

8 107Reincarnated, Now What? (ReWorked)
This is what I always wanted. I always wanted to fight like in the anime and manga. Video games could only fill part of the void, but never fully. Follow Haruto, a young Japanese boy struck down in the middle of his gaming life and reincarnated at the whims of a sadist god. He is a chill dude, who loves anime and otakuing it up. The sadist powers that be have forced him to a new world, now he endeavors to live out every weeb's dream of reincarnation. you know minus the boring parts like fighting for justice. In a world of gods, demihumans, and thankfully succubi, Haruto decides to live the life of his dreams. It's a comedic isekai that should not be taken too seriously. An adventurer in age denial. A man who looks like a pig. The ever present human trash who call themselves nobility. Of course butlers because who doesn't like OP butlers who for some reason stay a butler. A croc that acts like a dog. Tons of one-inch punches in honor of the great one. A tribute to the best waifu. A wide assortment of demons. A lich who is great at kissing butt. It's an adventure slice of life journey and tons of trash talking. I mean how could a weeb not be good at trash talking, have you not read a wuxia before? Currently in the middle of revision, so bear with me on grammar and tense issues. Will be done within this life time.

8 162The White Room
A group of gamers are hired as guinea pigs to test a new VR system. None of them know what exactly to expect. Is the new system bing tested, or is it them? Are they just there for games, or is there a greater game being played? My first attempt at writing LitRPG. I I'm learning as I go and therefore will probably stumble over numerous cliches of the genre and writing in general. Definitely a work in progress.
