"How are you feeling?" Jennie asked when she got out from the bathroom.

I woke up earlier with a terrible headache. Fortunately, Lisa and Jennie came and they called the doctor for some pills. Of course I haven't called my dad yet, he will probably lock me at home because he's so overprotective when it comes to me. More so if he finds out that I almost got killed because the drug has a poison mixed with it.

"Rosé! I'm glad you're awake! Why didn't you ring me up about what happened to you?" I was about to speak when Jisoo entered my room without knocking. It was already late when she realized that her bestfriend was sitting beside me with a questioning look plastered on her face.

"When did you become close?" Jennie asked, confused.

"Ohh sorry Jennie-yah. I didn't see you there," Jisoo smiled awkwardly,

"Rosé has been helping me with my guitar and piano lessons for my upcoming drama. I at least need to know the basics that's why she told me she will help me with it—"

"Since when?"

"First week?"

"Oh okay..by the way, where's Lisa?" Jennie asked when she noticed that it was just the three of us in the room.

"She went outside to have a short talk with Mina"

"Who's Mina?"

"The director of this hospital...and her ex-girlfriend" I answered casually which made Jennie's eyebrows creased.

"Oh right! I saw them near the lobby. The director is pretty young and she's oozing with elegance"

"I totally agree! She was a ballerina before she became who she is now. Maybe it's the reason why she has a well-toned physique and a natural grace in her movements," I commented. Jennie stayed silent on her seat but I can feel that she's not liking the compliments we're giving to Mina. How cute. I wish Lisa can see her top star getting so worked up over such simple compliments. Jisoo smiled at me as if she succeeded on teasing her friend indirectly, I smiled back knowing that we are in this together.

"So the rumors were true? That Lisa's into girls too? I thought she's dating Jungkook"

"I don't know much about her dating life but I know that she can make everyone fall for her"

We were startled when Jennie suddenly stood up with a furrowed eyebrows and a clenched fist. This is hilarious. Jennie Kim is jealous? This is really iconic.She rushed into the door as if she was going to a battlefield.

"Where are you goi—" she didn't even let me finish.

"I'm off. I'll see you tomorrow Chaeng. And you unnie, I'll leave Chaeng in your hands."

I still can't believe that I'm talking with Mina right now. My first love. My first ever girlfriend. The first ever woman who occupied my heart is right here in front of me. I guess time is in her favor because she looks more beautiful than before. I'm not saying that she's not beautiful before, she was beautiful even before but now that she has matured a little, she has become more appealing. I don't know how many times I've said the word 'beautiful' already but I don't give a damn about redundancy when I'm describing Mina.

She was the campus crush back in our college days abroad and I was like a wallflower who fell in love with her. It all started when we became partners in research. We were so happy back then until she went back to Japan. We broke up because long distance relationship didn't suit us. We gave more time on our careers rather than fixing our wrecked relationship. I guess that's why we end up like this.

"Lisa? I might melt. You've been staring at me for three minutes now" Mina said shyly.

"Sorry. It's been years and I'm only seeing you now"

"Time flies indeed. I'm glad we landed safely in our dreams"

"Yeah right. How have you been?"

"Great. I'm a surgeon now, just like my dad"

"That's good to hear"

"You?"

"I'm a manager"

"Am I hearing you right?"

"Yeah. Dad pulled some strings that's why"

"Poor Lisa-yah" Mina pinched my cheeks just like what she usually do back then.

"Aww!" I acted as if it really hurt me.

"Oh sorry, was it too hard?" Mina asked worriedly.

"Got ya!" when she got closer, I also pinched her cheeks. She's so cute! This gesture really broke the ice.

"Ehermm. Would you mind if I take MY manager with me now? It's late and I want to go home" my heart skipped a beat when I heard Jennie's cold voice. She even emphasized the word 'my'. She was wearing a sunglasses but I can sense how sharp the looks she's throwing to Mina are. She held my wrist and pulled me by her side. I suddenly felt shivers all over my body with the simple thing that she did. She's always like this when I get clingy over Chaeyoung.

"Okay. See you some other time Lisa" Mina smiled warmly before she kissed me on my cheek. She then bowed to Jennie before she deserted us. I stayed silent because I couldn't find any words to speak. Mina kissed me for hell's sake! In front of the boiled up Jennie Kim! I felt how Jennie's grip tightened. It stings a bit but I can't seem to take her hand off of me. I feel flattered yet scared. How will I be able to survive this night? Will I be able to survive tonight? The witch is not in a good mood and it's night time, her time. Her fangs will soon land on my neck. Wait...witches don't have fangs right? I shrugged all these thoughts off of my head when I noticed how stiffed I've been.

"Uhmm. Jen-nie?"

"Don't talk to me"

"You're holding my wrist firmly" she seemed surprise that she's still holding me. She immediately let go and crossed her arms.

"Hop in" I said when I stopped in front of her. She took the seat beside me but still, she kept her mouth shut.

"What's wrong?"

"We were okay when we went there right? What's with the sudden cold treatment?' I kept asking questions but she didn't respond.

"Jennie-yah"

"Jen"

"Jendeukie"

"Stop the car" she said in her stern voice. I did park the car near a convenience store. She wore her mask and a cap before she gets out of the car and entered the store. I was surprised when she brought with her two bottles of soju and some beer. I was stunned when she opened the soju and drank it. For a moment, I felt like I was hypnotized by the continuous waves on her throat as she gulped the alcohol in one blow. It feels like I am seeing a live commercial of soju.

"Hey, wait—drink slowly!" I snatched the bottle from her when I snap out of my bewilderment but it's almost empty. I looked at Jennie, she's already under the alcohol's influence. Just wow. How can she drink a bottle when she doesn't have a high alcohol tolerance? She took another bottle and she guzzled it down. I was about to get it but she pushed my hands away.

"You!" she pointed at me. Thank God she stopped drinking after greedily taking those two bottles of soju. She can't even point her finger at me steadily. She's really drunk!

"W-what?"

"You! Why did you let your ex kiss you in front of me?! How dare she!" what the heck?! Isn't it a confirmation that she's jealous? I feel my ears get hot while my cheeks turn red. Is this real? JENNIE KIM is jealous! It's JENNIE KIM.

"I was also surprised—"

"Not me Lisa. I saw how your lips curved a smile back there!"

"Wait—Are you jealous?"

"I am! From now on I don't want anybody else to get near you but me. I don't want other people to touch you but me. And I don't want somebody else to kiss you but me—Look at that! She even left a mark of her lipstick on your cheek!" she searched for her handkerchief then she wiped the stain on my cheek even if there was only a very light blemish of pink lipmark on my face. I held her hand which made her stopped wiping my face when I realized that she was already leaning closely to me. I am already enveloped by her sweet scent and it's getting me drunk even though I haven't taken a single drop of alcohol this night.

She looked at me in the eyes and I really feel like I'm suffocating because of the close distance. My heart is beating so loud that I fear myself to be deaf if I'd let myself listen to it for a minute more. Her gaze slowly touched my lips. I can feel cold sweats falling from my face even though the temperature in my car is low. The tension is getting me more scared yet excited with what this drunk girl is gonna do next. The inner striving and imbalance is like a tight rope around my neck but I can feel unfathomable satisfaction from it. Jennie slowly made her move and closed the gap. I felt the movement of her lips for a second or two but then it abruptly stops. That's when I realized that she passed out. She SLEPT in a middle of a kiss! Seriously? She is such a living cliffhanger. She just left me hanging and wanting for more. How can she sleep in a snap? You're so unfair Jennie Kim. You're so unfair.

"But at least I got a kiss, right? It's more than enough" I whispered before I stepped on the fuel and find myself driving a drunk top idol to my home.
