- Dwayne is more intuitive than he looks. Probably one of the more involved partners you can have. He would have known something was up the moment he catches you throwing up multiple times. At first he assumed it was just you feeling under the weather... until it lasts longer than usual. Dwayne is not too fond of hospitals but you bet your ass he would be taking you in anyway. Not that Dwayne isn't the best carer because he is and would recieve 5 stars, it was just that everything he had done to help just wasn't working and he cared too much than to let you stay miserable.

- Sticks with you through the appointment- and initially he is in denial when the doctor asks if you're pregnant. Both of you are confused but you couldn't refuse a test given to you by a doctor seeing as you couldn't just say Dwayne was a vampire and that he shoots blanks. Nonetheless you decide to humor the doctor just to rule it out you say. Dwayne would wait patiently outside the ladies bathroom. He would probably get asked a few times by staff if he was alright shortly just by how much he was thinking into this. Max had never had the "talk," with the boys but they just assumed yiu know since they're technically dead, that their baby batter would be dead too.

- It's only when you come out, white in the face and holding a piss soaked test that it sinks in. Dwayne is a family kind of guy but he had since lost hope after becoming a vampire, making peace with his new life. But the moment you show him without saying, he already knows. His baby is inside you and that's all that he can think about, not about how it was possible, not about how messy it might get and certainly not about letting the others know. At first you mistake his silence for something negative but the moment he takes your hands and kisses your forehead you realize he really does care.

- "I know this is a lot to take in, love. But I respect any decision you want to make." Dwayne would say with a heavy heart as he leans his forehead against yours and he is right on that. Dwayne likes children but if this one is going to put your life at risk not to mention if you didn't feel ready, he would accept the outcome. That's not before sitting down with you and talking it out and generally being your emotional support body pillow.

- It's only after plans are out in place that Dwayne takes you to the cave and with your permission, will let his brothers know. At first it's chaos with them bombarding you both with questions, the how and the what's coming before the congrats. Afterwards it's safe to say you become royalty in the cave. Dwayne ensures you are taken care of and that the boys aren't rough with you. Sometimes they don't know their own strength after all. Dwayne does though and so when Paul tries to snuggle you, he is swiftly reminded. As much as he loves how excited his brothers are, he still has your best interest at heart.

- Seeing you be sick in not just the mornings so to speak makes him worried as all hell. Dwayne hates that you feel miserable but tries to make it better by staying up with you at times to hold your hair and get you water. The other side effects are taken on the chin. Dwayne just wants you to be comfortable and would not mind grabbing snacks that he knows you like or can eat along with juice and bottles of water for your nest. Constantly asks how you are and checking in with you.

- As the pregnancy grows, he grows more protective than usual. His large palm is always over your swollen stomach whenever you both are walking around. Dwayne is usually keeping to himself in public but the second some douche almost bumps into you or does anything he doesn't like, they are screwed. It's not just glares they will get but maybe even a harsh shove.
