"What about black?"
"Marks doing black"
"Okay what about blue?"
"I've already done blue,"
"It was mixed with blonde"
"Because I was too scared to dye it all blue!"
"Are you sure you don't wanna do black because it would look great on you!"
"Mark is doing black! It's his color!"
"Ok what about pink?"
"Your doing pink."
"So we would be matching. Couple goals?!"
Hyejin just sighed. The Dream members were getting ready for their next comeback. Jaemin has been trying to help her pick her hair color for an hour and a half. They were going to go to change their hair color soon so he wanted her to pick one, fast.
The were currently in the dorm. Jisung and Chenle were in the kitchen and Renjun was supervising, making sure they didn't blow it up. Jeno was playing a game on his phone.
"Well, were all waiting for you to pick a color so we can go." He said. She just sighed again. He sat down on her bed.
"Just flip a coin!" Jeno yelled from the living room. She rolled her eyes.
"That's insane! The fate of my hair color will not be in that coins hands!" She said, a little quiet so Jeno wouldn't hear her.
"Coins don't have hands!" He yelled again. She jumped up from her bed and closed her bedroom door. She collapsed on her bed.
"I know an app. It changes the color of your hair so you can see what you would look like. I'll download it and let's see what you want." He pulled out his phone from his pocket. When he turned the screen on she smiled and giggled when she saw the lock screen.
"What?" He said, looking at her. His home screen was a picture of her and Jaemin. Jaemin was sitting on the couch and Hyejin was sitting on the ground. Jaemin was attempting to braid her hair and she was blasting music on her AirPods. ( Jia don't speak broke )

"Who took that picture?" She said. He chuckled.
"I asked Renjun to take it when you were focused on your phone. Your music was so loud that you missed Chenle practicing his dolphin high notes. I had to pay him five dollars to take the pictures because he couldn't stand being single," he said causing her to laugh.
"Nah, He ain't jealous. Just tired of us." She said.
"It's only been like a month!" He said. She laughed and put her head on his shoulder. The app had finished downloading.
"Ok so I'll find a picture of you on my phone and change the colors." He clicked on a picture he had of her.
"Nooo not that picture! I look so bad," she said. He glared at her. She pursed her lips.
"Sorry, Nana. Carry on," she whispered. He rolled his eyes and went back to his phone.
After endless colors, she was still doubtful.
"It's been 25 minutes of endless searching, Hyejinnie. Can't you just pick one!" He said. Jaemin was frustrated. He had his head in her lap and he was tugging on his hair.
"No! My hair is the one thing that matters in this entire comeback. Ok and my vocals. And my raps. But physically it is the only thing that matters! I'm not going to look good if I just pick one!" She said, covering her face with her hands.
"Babe, you would look good if you decided to put every color in the rainbow!" He murmured.
"Babe?" She asked. He looked up.
"What?"
"You called me babe! You never call me babe!" She said, blushing until she was the same color as a tomato. He smiled and sat up.
"I thought I could start calling you that. Like a couple thing," he said wrapping his arm around her. She buried her head into his chest to hide her embarrassment.

"Ok focus. What color are you gonna pick?" He said so she could focus. She groaned and rolled her eyes.
"I give up! I'm just going to flip a coin!" She said, raising her hands in defeat.
"You can't be serious," Jaemin said.
"Yep! Like you said, i will look good in any hair color, babe." She mocked him. He just chuckled.
"But what happened to not letting the coin choose your fate?"
"Ok don't tell Jeno about this. You know that I hate telling him he's right. but there's no way I'm going to decide anytime soon!"
"Ok! Whatever you want." He went to Hyejinnie bag and pulled out her wallet.
"Heads for that color , tails for that color." He said, pointing to the colors on his screen. She closed her eyes as Jaemin flicked the coin in the air. It landed in his palm. They both stared at the surface of the coin.
"Interesting" He said.
"I'm ok with that," she said.
"Alright Hyejin. I'm done. You can take a look now."
The stylist spun the chair around so she could see it in the mirror.
"I love it! Thank you so much unnie!" She said, running her hands through her hair. She went to go check on the other members.
"Hyung! looking good. You also look like the salad I had yesterday," she said. He pursed his lips and looked up at her.
"I'm joking Chenle. You look great," she said. He rolled his eyes and smiled.
Jaemin tapped her shoulder and she turned around. She gasped and covered her mouth with her hands.
"What do you think?" He said, raising his eyebrows. She ran her hands through his hair.
"Oppa! You look so good! I think this is the best hair color you've ever tried! I love it!" She said. He grabbed her hand.
"We could've been the only two with pink hair. Now you look like half the members." He said. She furrowed her eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" She said.
"I think were all done, we can go now." A voice said. She turned around to see Jeno, Renjun and Haechan standing behind her.
"Are you kidding me!" She said, crossing her arms.
"Jeno Hyung! You said you where going blonde!"
"Changed my mind last minute!" He said.
"Why you don't like it?" He ran his hand through his hair and looked in the mirror.
"No it's pretty. But you never just change things last minute!" She said, raising her voice a bit.
"Ok well, if it makes you feel better, Haechans hair isn't completely brown. A-and Renjun's hair is a different shade of brown then yours" Jaemin said, putting his hands on her shoulders to keep her from tackling someone.
"I give up! Next time I'm going to pick my hair color early and make sure no one else claims it!" She said, walking out of the salon.
Jeno caught up to her as they walked to the car.
"How did you ever decide what color you wanted?" He asked. She pursed her lips and entered the van.
"You didn't," he said, bursting into laughter.
"Yes I did! Just this once I'll let you say I told you so!" She said. He just shook his head.
"I told you so," he said. She stuck out her rouge and turned to face the window.

What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
