17) do you mostly watch or read naruto
I only watched Naruto, because I felt that manga was too embarasing to carry with me thought-out school...which is definitely not true! Manga is totally normal and nothing to be ashamed of :)
How many of you read the manga before watching the anime, or vice versa? Let me know

"Come on, Kakashi." you whined as you were walking next to Hatake Kakashi, the coldness nipping your nose.
"Nope." he said simply, shrugging you off like the autumn leaf that blew past your face.
Both of you had just finished training your teams. You were Y/n L/n, a retired but legendary ANBU that now worked with genin kids and preformed easy missions. In your team were three girls(which was pretty cool to have an all girls squad), Miyuzuki Fuji, Kaori Haru, and Tokiyo Hitomi.
Biting you lip, you rolled your eyes before crossing your arms. "So cruel, Mr. Hatake." you whispered, hearing a chuckle through that thin blue facial mask.
Ever since the day you met Kakashi in the academy, you have always wanted to see what was under that mask. So, you did this most of the time when you saw him. It was something that oddly created your friendship; the curiosity of your cat-nipped mind.
"All the besides..." you were saying softly, noticing his gaze moving over to you. "Hm?" he said, raising an eyebrow. "Have you heard about the nearby town, Kakashi?" you said, causing him to shake his head.
"Yesterday the Town of Pine was deserted. No one knows why, and Konoha has been doing investigations. Some say that the Akatsuki might have to do with it, but others might say it's something else." you said, looking up at the sky. "My grandfather lived there, so now that he's dissapeared...I can't help...but worry."
His gaze softened at you before looking up at the sky. "Isn't he ill?" he asked you, raising an eyebrow.
Kakashi was right; your father was sent their for a special treatment center for his strong illness, and was said to be possibly fully recovered in the next two years. Nodding, you smiled slightly. "Yeah, but when I go to visit him sometimes, I can tell he's getting better." you said.
"Kakashi, Y/n!" you heard Shizune say as she running towards the two of you. "Shizune?" you said while both of you turned around.
"Tsunade wants the two of you to immediately head to her office." she said.
Both you and Kakashi didn't hesitate to begin running towards her office.

"Your teams are the only teams that are available. After I sent two ANBU to the scene, they never returned." she said, causing you to feel a shiver. "Do you have any ideas, Miss Hokage?" you asked, tapping your foot gently on the floor.
"Danzo. More and more people have been beginning to rebel there, so I'm not surprised if he's the main person of this." she said, looking over the horizon of the sky. "You guys will leave immediately in the morning at dawn. Go!" Tsunade said, soon letting out a loud yawn.

Both you and the fluffy haired jonin looked over at each other. "Goodnight, Tsunade." you said, peeking at her before shrugging at the Hatake, walking to the door. "Hai." Kakashi said, following after you.
vV*Vv
"A mission? We just had one yesterday." Miyuzuki mumbled as she was walking with you and the rest of Girl Squad. "It was a simple cat chase again, Miyu. This sounds much better, right sensei?" your shortest member(Tokiyo) said, looking up at you with her small blue pigtails and bright red eyes. Chuckling, you ruffled Miyuzuki's hair, "I promise this one is much more exciting." you said.
"So they're the group that passed as genin before Konohamaru?" you could hear Naruto Uzuimaki yelled several yards away from you. Looking up, you notice Kakashi stalking to them. But obviously, because of the distance, it was clear you were unable to hear them.
"Their names are Miyuzuki, Tokiyo, and Kaori..." Kakashi said, leaning on the gate entrance. "What about their sensei?" Sakura spoke up. "Y/n L/n." he said, a bit slower as he stared at you walking over to them.
"OH- I bet you like her Kaka Sensei!" Naruto exclaimed loudly to him, causing his cheeks to become red as a Sharingan. "Don't make accusations, Naruto...." Kakashi mumbled, hiding his cheeks easily from them because of his mask.
"Sorry we're late, Kakashi." you greeted the other jonin with a smile. He simply waved it off. You realized it was the first time he was actually early to a mission. But why?...
"Let's go." Sasuke spoke up, confidently walking ahead of everyone. "Wait up for us, Teme!" Naruto exclaimed, following after him. As all the genin went ahead, both you and Kakashi sprinted towards them all.
"They're just kids..." you said, giving off another sheepish smile at him as he nodded in agreement. As he jumped ahead of him, you on the other hand stayed behind.
vV*Vv
"They really know how to clear any evidence." you mumbled while searching. Kakashi's summoning dogs were sniffing the area, every basically clueless of what was the reason.
"Hey, check this out!" you heard your genin Kaori speak up, a thin clear snakeskin in her hand as she waved it in the air. Your eyes widened to notice it was the exact same snake skin that reminded you of a certain person.
Orochimaru.
"Kakashi-" you hissed, turning towards him as he stood behind you. Surprised by this, you hit his chest, those ink black eyes looking down at you. "I know. He must be watching us..." you whispered, closing your eyes to sense Orochimaru while pulling out your katana.
You were called a legendary ANBU because of your abilities with the katana. Your family had their own mixture of ninjutsu with chakra infused swords that became sharper after collecting the enemy's blood.
Suddenly your eyes opened to feel a vibration underneath you. "Seperate!" you shouted, jumping back. The genin jumped away while Kakashi activated his Chidori, aiming it to whatever was appearing out of nowhere.

It was a large, purple snake. Orochimaru's summoning snake, to be more specific, who was said to be named Manda. He snapped at Kakashi, who quickly dodged as the snake held was hel ugh. On the head? Orochimaru.
"Damn snake creep..." You whisper.
"Danzo promised me he wouldn't let anyone pass..." Orochimaru said loudly as everyone was silent and still. "...But now I see why he did. You guys have perfect bodies~"
Glaring at him, you gripped your katana and jumped up in the air. Of course, the sanin opened his mouth to shoot out those several snakes he had to attack you. But each snake was easily slaughtered in less than five seconds.
Jumping back down, you looked at Kakashi. "All we had to do was see who it was. We shouldn't fight him unless she orders to-" you were saying, only to notice his eyebrows crease in. "This is our only chance. The genin are capable of helping us." He said. Hesitantly, you let in, both of you looking at the snake.
"Go!"
vV*Vv skipping to after the fight/ending vV*Vv
Sweat was dripping down your forehead while you stabbed Orochimaru. You were finally able to hit him. Immediately, he slumped back, and summoned a new snake(Manda had disappeared after Kakashi was able to weaken him).
"He's getting away!" You said, aiming your katana at him again. But the snake that was summoned didn't attack you; it was charging towards your students and genin.
"Shoot-" you mumbled, running after it.
But it turned out to be a trap. The snake turned back around, biting your waist deeply in to the flesh. Blood stained your green jacket/shirt as you groaned from the pain.
"Y/N!!?" Kakashi shouted, activating another chidori quickly and hitting the snake to make it disappeared.
"He's gone...." Sasuke spoke up, looking around. "It's true." Miyuzuki said, her sensing skills checking the area.
As you opened your eyes, you noticed that you were in Kakashi's arms. "Kaka..." You whispered, his head looking down at you. "Don't close your eyes. Let's go." Kakashi said, speaking louder as he began to run while carrying you. The pain in your stomach stung, and the numbness was slowly hitting you.
Maybe I can take a nap.... he's chest is so warm, and his breathing is so calming...
"Don't close your eyes, dammit." Kakashi whispered, pulling you closer to his chest.
But you did, and all you could see was pitch black swallow your mind.
vV*Vv
The heart monitor peeped softly as you opened your e/c eyes, hair slightly messy. "You're awake." Kakashi said, who was holding your hand and sitting next to your bed. "Yeah...I am. So, what have I missed?" You asked him with a small smile.
"Tsunade doesn't trust Danzo. Like always. She made a conclusion that Danzo was able to help him get rid of the rebels by giving him them as human test subjects." He said. You could feel your heart stop at thought of your grandpa. However, you did not cry. After all, you were trained in the ANBU.
"Hey....Kakashi..." You said, your other free hand moving to his face. "Will you show me now?" You asked, your smile widening.
"Take it off." He said in a husky voice, causing you to blush madly and look at him with shock. Slowly, you pulled down his mask, from the noose...and to his chin.
What you saw was a handsome, smooth face with a small beauty mark, as well as a pure white smile. Immediately, your thumb began to trace his lips.
"I can show you something else." He said, you thumb moving away at the time.
Your eyes became much more bigger, the redness became a dark maroon. "P-pervert..." You said, leaning forwards as your hand sliding down to his shoulder.
"You can't assume things, Y/n." Kakashi said, closing the gap between the two of you and interlocking your lips. Moaning from the small pain hitting your waist(and how good of a kissed he was), you leaned back in to the bed while Kakashi was on top of you, continuing to kiss.
As his lips moved to your neck to place sweet butterfly kisses, you panted silently. "I wish I could show you....how much I love you...." Kakashi said, causing you to feel your stomach twist. "Not yet, be patient. Pervert," you said laughing loudly. As the door was clicking unlocked, Kakashi got off you, once again pecking your lips before standing up. Oh, don't forget that he put his mask up.
"I'm glad your up. You'll have to stay hospitalized for the next three days, and you'll be taking a special medication to make the process faster." The nurse said. With Kakashi's hand on your shoulder, you both nodded while listening.
"Your sound is still bad, and we had to preform surgery on you. You're lucky to have a good boyfriend that stood by your side the whole time-consuming" she said, giving off a closed eye smiled.
Just when you were about to open your mouth, your so called boyfriend chuckled. "What kind of gentleman would I be?" He said. Biting your lip, you placed your hand over his.
"Well, clearly the surgery was successful. We promise she's in good hands, Kakashi Hatake." The woman said. "For now I'll have to request you leave for her check up." The female said. Looking down at you, you could tell the smile creased in his mask.
Leaning forwards, he pulled out his book to hide his face from the nurse as he once again kissed your temple. "I love you, Nosy." He said, walking away before you had a chance to say it back to him.
I love you too, Kakashi....
Thank you.

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!
