《naruto character one shots》My Sunshine {Obito Uchiha}

You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away
You slipped on a pair of your favorite, fluffy pink slippers after hastily climbing out of the confines of your bed and comforter. After groggily wiping the sleep out of your eyes you checked the clock on your bedside table, being met with 5:37 a.m. in a blocky, bright red font. Upon noticing the now lonely atmosphere of your bedroom, your eyebrows furrowed in confusion at the disappearance of your best friend, whom you were having a sleepover with.
"Obito," you silently called, your voice never raising above a whisper.
A soft yawn passed your lips before you left your bedroom in search for Obito. It wasn't like him at all to leave in the middle of the night, and even if he only ruffled the covers, you would undeniably awake. You being a light sleeper, even the smallest shift of movement had you alert; so whatever Obito did, he undoubtedly made en effort to keep you sleeping.
After five minutes of wracking your brain and desperately searching for the Uchiha, you finally found him. First you breathed the biggest sigh of relief, feeling as if the weight of the world left your shoulders upon seeing his frame through the glass door leading to your porch. You subconsciously chewed your lip before sliding the door open, to your dismay unleashing an obnoxious squeak equivalent to the sound of nails on a chalk board.
"That's where you were," you confirmed before plopping down next to Obito.
The small smile that twitched at the corner of your lips melted right off your face as soon as your eyes met Obito's expression. Your first impression was that he was being an early bird today, getting up at the crack of dawn to watch the sun rise, but the beautiful rays radiating off his face, reflecting the orange glow visible in his onyx eyes were the only happy aspects of this morning. His face appeared sullen and pale; the yellow tinge from the sun only made him look peaked and sickly. His shoulders which were always taut and held back lacked their usual confidence; his posture just screaming "I'm exhausted beyond belief."

He looked sad and pitiful. His eyes never even twitched in acknowledgement of your presence. Obito was without a doubt deep in thought, but what was consuming his thoughts and making him look so distressed, God only knows.
"Obito, what's wrong?" You asked, scooting yourself so your body was pressed up against his. His head moved to face yours, but his movements were practically in slow motion, mechanical almost. His mouth slowly widened into a pained grin, his eyes closing. You knew he couldn't look at you. Whenever something's wrong with him he never tells you, as soon as he realizes you've noticed he's sad, he puts on his most cheerful look and does anything to sway your mind, anything to delay taking about his sadness.
But Obito's sadness is the saddest kind of sad. It's the sad that tries not to be sad. You know, when sad tries to bite its lip, and not cry and smile and say "nothings wrong, I'm happy". That's when it's really sad.
You glared an expression so menacing at your friend that he didn't even bother using an excuse to dismiss his behavior.
"It's not exactly something wrong, it's more of a realization I've come to, it's eating me alive." "Hey, tell me," you swayed, putting an arm around his shoulders.
"I guess you can say we call have two personalities: the one during the day, if we were asked if we were happy, we would say "absolutely". We're happy and we're okay and we don't need any help or support from anyone, we're fine with no one by our side. But then there's the other that at 2 a.m., sits alone in their room wondering if anyone likes them at all, asking themselves what's the point in any of this," he replied.

You completely understood every word he said, and agreed too. So that's why he left last night. He was up in the middle of the night, when your demons come alive and taunt you with your weaknesses, toying with your mind. They make you feel worthless and cause you to contradict and second guess every choice you've made. They make you regret everything you've done and everything you haven't done; make you think of people you could've had a chance to love and people who you were too blind at the the moment to tell who they really were.
It killed you to know that that was how he felt last night; he was feeling so conflicted to the point where he got out of bed and went outside for who knows how long; all alone with his thoughts. "But this the side of every person that needs to be shown how beautiful they are," you replied, pulling Obito's head down so it rested on your shoulder.
"Obito, you're the most hard working boy I know. We're only sixteen and still you wake up everyday with your goals in mind and you are so passionate about them I have no doubt in my mind you will succeed. You're irreplaceable, remember that. There's a point to all of this, I know there is. You're my sunshine, Obito, and I love you and my heart breaks just to know you're feeling this way." A few tears streamed down your face at your speech and the emotions coursing through your veins.
You felt a pair of arms slither around your waist, and Obito buried his face into your neck as you instinctively ran your hands through his hair while you planted a kiss on his forehead. As you basked in the warmth of the sun, eventually the silence between you and your best friend was broken by his soft snore lightly tickling your neck. A sense of peace washed over your being and your muscles relaxed knowing your everything was sound asleep and finally at rest. As the cloudy kingdom above rolled across the cerulean blue sky you sang softly, as soft as you would if singing a lullaby to a new born baby:
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When skies are grey
You'll never know dear
How much I love you
Please don't take
My sunshine away

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

8 206Blind As a Bat [1st book complete]
Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
