They have walked for about two hours, following Peter before Edmund starts talking to Nesrin again. He finally got the courage to ask about the kiss. "So, about yesterday..." he starts but doesn't know how to continue it.
They hear Peter sigh loudly. "I'm not lost." He says.
"No you're just going the wrong way!" Trumpkin replies annoyed by the young king leading the way.
"You said they took Caspian to Aslan's how, to come there we need to cross Beruna here." Peter says.
"But if I'm not wrong, there's no way of crossing that river." Trumpkin replies calmly surprising Nesrin.
"That's explains it then, you're wrong." Peter says stubborn. He continues walking making Trumpkin roll his eyes. They all follow.
"What about yesterday?" Nesrin asks turning back to the subject they were talking about before Peter interrupted.
"Nesrin." Edmund stops walking and faces her, she stops walking as well facing him. "You're not gonna tell me that you didn't feel what I felt when we kissed." He says almost desperate for an answer.
"I wasn't going to deny it." She replies looking down. Edmund walks up to her, placing a finger under her chin lifting it up, causing her to look in her eyes. A million thoughts run through his mind and he wants to kiss her again, but is afraid she wouldn't let him.
Enough! Just kiss him already! Nesrin's thoughts scream at her. She leans forward and presses her lips against his, she feels him smiling. Edmund wraps his arms around her waist pulling her closer. They break the kiss to catch air and look into each other's eyes. "So you and I..." Edmund says but stops.
"You and I." Nesrin replies before kissing him again. They break after a while and turn their heads to see Edmund's siblings and Trumpkin looking at them with their mouths wide open.

"I can't believe my eyes!" Trumpkin says. "A king and a witch!" He screams pointing at Edmund and Nesrin. All start laughing.
"Can we continue our journey or do we wait until you guys tell each other you liked each other all along?" Peter asks.
"No we can continue." Edmund and Nesrin say at the same time. He grabs her hand and let their fingers intervene. They continue their way to the river. They end up on top of a cliff looking down at the river that's going wild.
"I don't understand, this is the only way!" Peter says looking at the other side of the cliff.
"Aslan!" Lucy screams walking over to the side of the cliff. She falls down causing everyone to scream her name. "Here!" She says. It's a path down.
"We haven't seen Aslan at all." Peter mumbles under his breathe but loud enough for Nesrin to hear it. They follow the way Lucy went, Edmund helping Nesrin and they make their way down. They cross the river over some rocks and climb back up.
It's late when they are back on the other side. "Let's make a camp here and continue in the morning." Peter suggests. They all agree and make a campfire. When the sun is down they go asleep. Edmund and Nesrin laying next to each other, him wrapping his arms around her.
The next morning Nesrin wakes up and looks around. "Edmund." She says while shaking him awake. He mumbles something before opening his eyes. "Lucy and Peter disappeared." She adds.
Suddenly everyone jumps up and looks around. They quickly gather their stuff and make their way through the forest to see Peter fighting with another person. "Peter!" Susan yells, all eyes on her.

They see Narniers looking at them. "This is amazing." Nesrin mumbles under her breathe.
"You are the kings and queens of old." The boy says. "I imagined you being older." He adds.
"Oh we can come back in a few years if you want." Peter says but the boy immediately hold him back. "You must be prince Caspian." Peter adds.
"And who are you?" A faun asks looking at Nesrin.
"It can't be possible, a real witch arrived?" Someone else shouts. Edmund immediately grabs her hand.
Voices sound over each other but Peter gets them all shut down again. "I will be fighting next to you, your majesty. We gathered some supplies like weapons for your army." A mouse says.
"Look Susan its adorable." Lucy whispers. The mouse takes his sword and swings it around.
"Who said that?" He asks. Lucy mumbles a soft sorry. "Oh forgive me your majesty, but a word like noble, magnificent or brave would fit a soldier of Narnia better." The mouse says.
"Good to see some people can handle a sword, we will need every weapon possible." Peter replies.
"Then I suppose, you want yours back." Caspian says giving Peter back his sword. They all start walking to Aslan's how. Everyone talks about the witch and queens and kings. And the magic they must have.
"It's not much but it's defensive." Caspian says pointing at the how. They all get inside and make their camp.

Seeker
The Gods are dead As they bled dry, so did the magic which gave them birth. In the new era of technology, its pathetic remnants must hide in the shadows or be locked away. In the ancient era of magic two beings often stood out: Galileo, an immortal scholar obsessed with knowledge and Angelica, the most loyal servant of the greatest among the now dead Gods. But why are they worthy of mention? Because after millennia of isolation, the two emerge in the new world beyond their reckoning. The entire story is told from the third person, however, each chapter will be told from the perspective of only one of the characters. This will be signified by the first letter of their names after the chapter number to avoid confusion. I submitted this fiction as a [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] as well as a participant in National Novel Writing Month. The original challenge had been to finish this entire faction within the month of November reaching the 55.5k word minimum. This goal had been achieved. I do not own the cover picture
