《The Founders》03

The last class of the day ends and Hermione walks next to Nesrin over the hallway. "Professor Snape really likes you huh? He helped you a lot with Edmund." Hermione says smiling.
"I guess he does, about that... I need to go. Edmund is gonna tutor me. See you later." Nesrin says hugging Hermione one last time before running over to the library. She walks inside and sees Edmund sit at a table. She walks over to him and sits down.
He pushes a book in front of her about potions. "I have looked in every book but couldn't find the reason of your potion exploding. I've seen every ingredient you added and nothing could've possibly screwed it up." Edmund says confused.
"Weird, you watched me pouring in every ingredient?" Nesrin asks making Edmund look away for a slight second before he came up with an answer.
"Yeah, you were sitting next to me, seemed like you did everything the same as I did and mine didn't explode but yours did." He says. "Someone screwed up your potion, any idea who would do that?" He asks. He seems pretty worried too.
"Well no, but maybe I just poured in something when you didn't look. Seems like I'm a pretty bad screw up anyways." Nesrin lies. She hates to lie but if it brings them together then why not.
"You're no screw up, everyone has something their not good at. I'm not good in transfiguration, don't tell anyone that." Edmund whispers the last bit.
"Oh I can tutor you if you want, transfiguration is easy peasy." Nesrin says happily.
"Alright, I teach you potions, you teach me transfiguration." He replies. They start studying. Edmund explains a lot about potions which Nesrin already knew but some things even she didn't know.

Edmund is really good at potions. They finish right before dinner. "What is by the way all the stuff about Gryffindors and Slytherins hating each other?" He asks. Nesrin closes her book and thinks about it.
"I don't know, natural enemies." She replies softly. He laughs shortly. "What?" Nesrin asks curious.
"Seems like I always end up with the enemies." He says while continuing laughing. "But usually the enemies are mean and far not as pretty as you." He says. Nesrin starts blushing by his comment.
"Let's go to dinner before they won't serve us anymore." Nesrin says trying to get away. They start walking over the hallways to the great hall.
"So I'll see you tomorrow for more tutoring?" He asks when they enter the great hall as last ones.
"Yes, see you there." She replies. He goes to the Slytherin table and Nesrin sits down at her table next to her friends who smile at her. "What?"
"We saw you talking to Ed, what happened?" Peter asks actually interested. Nesrin looks at Hermione and sighs.
"Well, Snape helped me." She says. Everyone around her giving her confused looks. "I didn't say anything about Edmund though, I just asked how to talk to someone you've never talked to and Edmund sat next to me in potions, Snape blew up my potion and told Edmund to tutor me. So he did." Nesrin explained.
"Wow Snape really likes you huh?" George asks surprised somehow.
Hermione stares at Peter and dreams away. "Oh come on Hermione, what does he have that I don't have?" Ron asks being annoyed as always.
"Well he is blond and beautiful and so dreamy." Hermione replies. Peter chuckles hearing that.
Ron scoffs but doesn't say anything knowing it wouldn't help him. "So who's going out tonight for snacks?" Lee asks looking at them.

"Lee, Fred, it's your turn remember, Nes and I went yesterday." George replies immediately.
"Ow right, maybe the Slytherins are there again." Fred says smiling and raising an eyebrow to Nesrin.
"I doubt that." She replies but still, she keeps thinking about the fact that the Slytherins most likely are in the kitchens tonight, and knowing Fred and Lee well enough, they would spill it.
I can't have that right now, this is the first time I actually really like someone. Nesrin thinks. Angelina, Fred's girlfriend since their second year comes up to them and takes place on his lap. "Hey baby, you and me tonight?" She asks.
"Sorry An, but Lee and I have to get snacks for the group today, maybe tom..." Nesrin cuts him off.
"No I will go with Lee, you can go hangout with Angelina." She says smiling. It's better this way, no way Lee is gonna tell Edmund on his own.
"Since when would you want to risk getting caught by Filch for me having time with Angelina?" Fred asks as confused as everyone else in the room.
"Maybe because a Slytherin boy could be there too." George replies and winks. Nesrin rolls her eyes but he wasn't wrong. She really wants to get to him.

The story starts off slowly, more like a slice of life than action-adventure, but it gets there! I’m going to be posting M-W-F I do know how the story ends, and I promise if it ever gets dropped, or I stop doing this, I will post the ending.
