《The Dark Apprentice: a teen titans fanfiction》Unworthy Opponents

I charged art the incoming titans, my hood hiding all but my mouth from their gaze, and lept into the air, sword extended to deliver a devastating attack. The alien and green one, now a green Tiger, evaded, as the leader readied himself to block my blade as it sped towards him. I watched as he brought up his metal staff to do so, only to have me strike it, shattering it into two halves, and forcing him backwards on his feet several feet to avoid the deadly tip. I smirked as he tossed the broken halves of his staff to his sides, while sensing that the green one was trying to think of a way to join the fight.
Before the spiky haired boy could go on the offensive, I sheathed my sword and lunged forward as I threw a punch aimed at his stomach, followed by a series of rapid kicks to his chest, landing a combination of hits on the oh-so-powerful leader that sent him flying away, and effectively out of the fight.
I focused my attention from his unconscious form, over to the Cyborg, who was attempting to take aim at me with some kind of cannon. Just as he fired, I ducked, sliding up to him as I ran, and focused all of my strength and momentum into my hand as I performed a perfect uppercut, sending the Metal man several feet up into the air before landing on his back, creating a crater in the tiles.
'2 down, 2 to go' I told myself as I faced the 2 younger titans, who did their best to look brave and confident, but only made themselves look that more fearful. I grinned as I faked a lunge toward the green boy, who immediately flinched, and ran straight towards the red headed alien.

She did not falter when I struck her ferociously with a kick to the side of the face. She did not flinch when I landed a few punches into her stomach. She did, however, react when I hurt the black haired boy.
I grinned as I slammed my heel into the green boys back, sending him flying into the leader, earning a groan from both. I heard a gasp from the alien.
"Robin!" she gasped. "Beast Boy! Are you harmed?" she asked to both as she kneeled next to each, allowing me to place a black disk with an orange S in the center. I leapt backwards before she could react and pressed one of the many buttons on my wrist, sending an electric shock into the girl. I smirked as she fell to the ground.
"Are you already finished? I expected more from the 'great' Teen Titans" I taunted at the leader, who I now know to be named Robin. The green one named Beast Boy rose as I taunted his leader, as did the Cyborg and Alien. Finally, the leader rose and the Titans all regained the fight in their eyes.
I smirked and was about to attack, but a deep voice sounded in my ear "Enough playing Raven" hissed Slade "I had expected you to be well on your way back by now" his tone implied that was an order, so I quietly responded with "Forgive me Master. I am returning now." After a moment, I heard him again, this time with amusement in his normally cold voice "Having fun with the Titans, are we?" "Oh yes" I answered enthusiastically. I raised my voice so the Titans could hear me.
"Though, they arent as much of a challenge as you said, Master". Robin and Beast Boy growled at this. I saw Robin turn to the alien and say "Starfire. If she tries to run, you have to stop her. Understand?" the alien, now known as Starfire, nodded. My eyes narrowed at this while a smirk appeared.

"Sorry Titans. But im afraid my Master has need of me elsewhere." I lifted my hand and opened a portal to the warehouse and was about to step through, but hesitated and called to Robin "Until next time. Ta Ta Titans. Make sure youre more of a challenge next time." and with that, I stepped into the portal disappearing from sight.
Just as the portal closed, I heard Robin curse as he dove after me, trying to follow. I dispersed it and turned to my Master, before kneeling in front of him, my blade flashed into my hand and the tip was just slightly embedded into the floor. "Master. I have chosen my weapon." I glanced up at him. "Do I have your approval to train with this sword?" I asked hopefully. He seemed to consider this, but he finally nodded his agreement.
"You may, my Apprentice"

Words I Left Unsaid
"Like a treasure map in a bottle, We were slowly drifting apart, Mother Nature sailing our purpose out to sea, The more I got to know you, I realised how much of a hoax your devotion was, Almost as fake as the smile I paint across my shattered face."This collection of poetry releases trauma in the form of expression - mainly the words I could never build up the courage to say. Most of these poems present conflict of the mind and allude to mental health struggles, which may be relatable to a certain community of people.Ranks -#3 in poem#3 in poembook#8 in poetry collection #7 in sadpoems#6 in poemcollection #7 in wisdom #15 in poetic
