《You Belong To My World (Completed!)》Chapter 9: You Changed The Future, Arthit

What's your apartment number?
Arthit, are you up?
I bought you breakfast
Arthit??
My phone was ringing endlessly. Whoever thought it was a good idea to wake me up this early in the morning did not deserve to live.
When the phone wouldn't stop ringing at all, I finally picked it up without looking at the screen.
"Who the hell is this?" My voice was still groggy and eyes still closed.
"Arthit? Were you sleeping? I bought your breakfast. I am right outside your building. What's your apartment number?
"Kong?"
"Yes, its me. Care to have breakfast with me?"
"How are you calling me through the phone? You are in the future"
"Arthit, I am not in the future, I am right outside."
"Kong you have your own keys. Just come over. Why are you waking me up?"
"Arthit, we just met yesterday. How would I have your house keys already? Although I would love to have them."
"Wait. KONGPOB. Is that you?" I was finally awake and I sprung up on my bed.
"Yes, its me Arthit. Now can I please know your apartment number because I really want to have breakfast with you and these waffles are getting cold."
"Its 2204. You can come up."
I hung up the phone and went straight into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Did I really just confuse this Kongpob with the future Kong? Dammit, they are literally the same person, how am I supposed to even differentiate between them?
I washed my face and adjusted my shirt. I didn't want to look like someone who just woke up, even though I literally just woke up.
Just as I was done, the door bell rang.
I opened the door and saw Kong standing there in the most cutest grey hoodie I had ever seen.

"Good morning, Arthit."
"Good morning."
He ruffled my hairs and came right in. "You look cute in your bed hair."
Dammit, I forgot about fixing my hair.
I patted my hair and closed the door.
"Why are you here Kong?"
"I went out to eat waffles in the morning, but I thought they would taste sweeter if I shared them with you"
How is he three years younger, but still the same flirt?
"You know I really hate waking up early in the mornings. I wouldnt have opened the door if it wasn't you."
"Well then, I am glad I can the special treatment from you." Kongpob moved closer to me and gave me a light peck. "Should I put the waffles on the dining table?"
"Umm. Yeah. Yeah. Lets eat."
We sat down and shared half a waffle each. It was such a simple thing but it meant so much more to me. I had breakfast with the future Kongpob every morning, but we could never share our food. It felt like we were in each other's lives, but in reality, we were in two totally different worlds with invisible boundaries.
"Hows the waffle? Do you like it?"
"Yeah. It is actually, it is really nice. Thanks for getting it for me Kong."
"I have been going to this waffle place with my parents and sisters for as long as I can remember. The taste is still the same."
"Are you.. are you close to your family?"
"Yeah. I guess I am. What about your family? Do they live somewhere far since you live alone here?"
"No. They live right here in Bangkok. I am just not that close to them, anymore."
Kong looked up at me with furrowed brows and concerned eyes."Why? Did something happen?"

I tried my best to give him a smile. "Nothing major. Lets just enjoy our breakfast."
Picking up the dishes after our meal, Kong asked, "Do you have any plans today? Since it is the weekend, I was hoping we could go and watch a movie."
"Umm.. I have SOTUS meetings in the afternoon. I skipped them yesterday too, so I really need to go today."
"SOTUS? You mean the hazing activities in the college?"Oh. Okay. I guess..then I'll leave.."
"Ah Kong. Are you by any chance free for dinner? I can take you to a noodle place that I like, its right near the campus"
"Yes I would LOVE that, Arthit! Its a date then."
"Its not a date, Kong.."
"I am just going to believe its a date. I'll text you in the evening then? I'll pick you up and we can go together."
"That sounds like a great plan."
Kong was smiling brightly when he left. I loved his smile so much, I just wanted to kiss him again.
Thinking about Kong and our dinner date, I somehow made through the SOTUS meetings.
Yes, it was a date. Who was I even kidding?
I came home earlier than usual just so I had enough time to pick out an outfit. Yesterday, I wasn't really ready for our impromptu date, but today, I wanted to make sure I looked my best.
Right when I was buttoning my shirt, I noticed Kong standing at my bedroom door. He had a stern expression on his hair.
"Kong, how did you get it? Was the door open? I thought we were supposed to meet an hour later?"
"Arthit..." His voice was shaky.
Wait a second..something doesn't fit right. Kong's hair look much longer than they did in the morning. He is wearing expensive clothes and a flashy watch. He's not the Kong I saw in the morning.
"KONG! ITS YOU! You know I was actually just supposed to go on a date with you in my world, and guess what.."
Before I could finish my thought, Kong closed the distance between us and pressed his lips against mine. He was kissing me hungrily and holding me tightly against his body.
As I cupped his face with my hands, I realised Kong was crying.
"Kong, what's wrong?"
"Arthit..."
"Kong, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Say something. Please."
I suddenly woke up with these new memories today.
New memories overlapping the old ones. I remembered my previous life and all the memories, but nobody else remembered it. Everything seemed the same but it wasnt really the same."

A/N: DUN DUN DUNNN...
In case you haven't noticed, I love ending chapters on a suspense ;)
What do you think changed in Kong's life after he met Arthit, who he wasn't supposed to meet in his world?
I also changed the cover for the Story, because well, I suck at designing. So I keep trying to not look like a failure
