《Daddy, I love you.》XXIV

Violet draws me what I am and I am so amazed. Once the drawing is on my arm in purple ink i start getting a tad but nervous. "Relax, it won't hurt so bad. We can stop for breaks, I'll buy" she smiles, she starts and I am in love with all of the colors that she will be using. "How's being married?" I suddenly ask making her laugh.
"Its good if you marry the right person and they make you happy, I mean Dylan and I aren't perfect. We argue sometimes and get mad at each other but we always talk it out. He knows mostly everything about me like he knows me more then my own mother" I cringe when she says the last word. "I'm sorry" is all she says, I just nod and try to smile.
"How did you meet Vince?" I say after the long silence that consumes us "its a long story well not really but he know Dylan since they went to school together and hadn't seen each other in a while. Vince came in for a tattoo and I had to do it since Dylan was booked and I wasn't so I drank my coffee and made small talk but by the end of that session we were like bestfriends." She laughs a little
"His girlfriend came out and was such a bitch I mean im a pretty cool person, I make friends easily but she just made me want to punch her in the neck" I try to contain my laughter. "I'm glad he left her, I mean she only wanted his money" she sighs and I try to process all of the new information that I had just been given.

Saga of the Soul Dungeon
When Caden dies in an accidental fall, he is merged with a dungeon core in another world. The problem with that? The dungeon core wasn't dead, and he has share mind-space with it. And that doesn't take into account mastering his new abilities well enough to escape from the powerful wizard that is, understandably, leery about allowing a dungeon to escape. Even after he manages to escape he needs to found and manage a dungeon. Of course the location he chose might have a few issues of its own. He is on the border of two human nations who are not particularly pleased to share. A sentient plant race claims the dungeon as sacred ground. And, amidst the chaos, teams of adventurers just want to make a living and figure out how to deal with the latest challenge. Just so readers know, Caden is not a murder-hobo. He is a genuinely nice person trying to make the best of his situation. If you want a main character that revels in killing people, this is not the book for you. This is a reworking, and continuation, of my original novel into first person. And it is going great! The writing is well past where my original novel got to. This work will never be dropped. Hiatuses may happen due to life, but I will never abandon this fiction. Currently 20+ chapters on Patreon

The Lay of the Black Doors
Nikha von Kranssov awakens one sunny morning to find that things have gone all wrong: Her maid has been murdered, her father is missing, and her house, Eldergrave Manor, is far larger and less familiar than it should be. She decides to grab her trusty rifle and set out into a home made strange and sinister, determined to find her father and confront whoever is responsible. The Lay of the Black Doors is a horror/adventure story that takes place in a secondary world. It is mainly inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, China Miéville’s Bas-Lag books, M.T. Anderson’s The Game of Sunken Places, and Shea and Wilson’s The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Be warned that the story involves frightening situations and occasional dark themes, as well as some violence and gore. Weekly updates. No longer on hiatus! The cover image is not mine. It is "The Drawbridge," a 1761 engraving by Giovanni Battista Piranesi.
