Asmara's POV

"Asmara!princess get up its fajar time!"

I heard baba's voice with the feeling of his hand caressing my hair.

Smilingly,i opened my eyes to see my baba jani's face,I got up from bed and baba started waking up,Sara is my little sister but to be honest she is the devil of our house.

After offering prayer Sara slept again and I went to lawn,As usual was there

I went near and hugged him.He is my life,my brother,my friend

and my protector.

"Assalamoalaikum! i!How are you my button nose?"He asked pinching my nose

I just smiled,he always do that to me.

"I am fine bhai, Alhmdulillah"

"Hmm...sounds great."He passed me his charming smile.

"Where is the devil? Still sleeping?" he asked about Sara.

"More like snoring...."I replied

and we both started laughing together.

After that we started our morning chit chat...

We were talking when we heard mama's voice from the kitchen"Zaid beta!come Have breakfast,and Asmara beta go wake that monster and come to the table then."

I came to my room and the miracle I saw was Sara was already up.

"Hey monster!already up...everything okay?or are you having fever?"I said placing my hand over her forehead.

She jerked my hand away saying "don't tease me!idiot!"

"Okay,okay!come have breakfast then."I giggled.

"Hmm...lets go!"

"Baba today I am going to Hashim's house!I can't come to your bussiness associate's son's wedding...."Zaid bhai was telling baba.

Baba smiled I and Sara spoke up "baba!you know Hashim bhai is Zaid bhai's bestest friend,he can't live without seeing her😬oops! sorry him."I said emphasizing 'him'.

Zaid bhai gave me a death glare

And Mama slightly slapped my head."don't tease my son!"

And we all broke into laughter...

Actually bhai is engaged to Api,she is so sweet sister ,Unclewho is baba's best friend and both of them wants there friendship to be changed into relationship so they decided for to let their children get married.Bhai is almost an engineer and Api have just done her degree.I just adore their couple.Both are so sweet.

As today is sunday so I am preparing for my test,as I have test to be held tommorrow while bhai and baba have gone to wedding and mama and Sara are chit chatting.

"Its 11:00pm mama!Baba and bhai are not yet home, what's the matter??"Sara asked worriedly.

"Let me call baba."I said and the phone start ringing showing baba's name.

I picked up the call"Assalamoalaikum baba Where are you?Why you have not reached home yet?We are worried..."

"Give phone to your Mama"I heard baba's commanding voice.

Giving Mama the phone,I kept looking at her to see what Baba is telling. "He is on the way."Mama told.

After an hour Baba alongwith Uncle Ahmed and Hashim bhai came but there was ambulance siren too and wait,where my bhai is?why they all are here!?"

Baba came and sat on the floor after that i saw something which took my breath away.My bhai,my Zaid,My life was lying lifeless on the stretcher carried by two unknown persons...

No...this can't be true he was looking calm with slight smile on his face,but with eyes closed...

Mama and Sara were crying...Baba and Uncle All were weeping but I was just numb...

What happened to my brother?

I went near him and placed my hand in his hair"Bh..bhai...Zz...Zaid bhai!W...wake up bhai...don't play around....you can't do this...wake up!"I yelled.

"He is no more titli"I heard Hashim bhai's broken voice.

"No...no..Nooo!Bhai please wake up....bhai your titli is calling you bhai, your Asmara, bhai please....bhai I won't annoy you...bhai!"

I was begging to bhai but he was not listening.He always do I as say but now he is not listening.After that everything went blank.

I woke up in the morning having severe headache...

Mama came to me and gave me a glass of water.I looked at her "m...mama!....bhai?"

I said hoping it was just a worst nightmare but mama just hugged me tight and said "be strong meri jaan...Zaid is at better place...pray for your brother."Mama started crying.So it was not nightmare it was the worst reality which I have to face..!!

"Ma...mama,I want to see him...where is he now?"I said getting up from bed heading towards the lounge.

"You woke up after two days beta...We couldn't keep him until now so his funeral is done."

I just sat on the floor.Everything is finished.My life,my brother was gone...I was so unlucky that I didn't get a last chance to see him.
