Matt's POV
I'm going out." I say, standing up from off my couch.
"Where exactly?" Foggy asks.
Ever since Foggy knew that I was the man in black, the "Devil of Hell's Kitchen", he's been protective of me. Always wanting to know where I am at all times, making sure I'm safe. It's like ever since I told Foggy who I was he's felt the need to protect me.
"To go find the Punisher. He's still out there and who knows who his next victim is."
I grab my helmet from off the couch and proceed to make my way to the door until Foggy grabs my wrist. His grip tightens, making me look back at him.
"Matt, I'm sick of this vigilante shit! I'm sick of always being scared of losing you! What happened to Matt Murdock, my best friend?"
"They're the same person Foggy, and no matter what you try to do, nothing's going to change that. I'm going out, so let go... "
"Your rib is broken Matt! You can't go out there risking your life every night. Let the police do their jobs."
"I cannot Foggy, the cops are never going to catch this guy and you know it."
"Castle has escaped from jail once already, what are you going to do? Put him in jail again, so he can get back out?"
"Y'know Foggy, you're sounding an awful lot like him right now."
"What did you just say?" Foggy closes his eyes and turns his back on me "Whatever Matt, just... go."
I reach out to grab his shoulder before putting my hands behind my back. I walk over to the door and latch my hand onto the door knob.
"Be careful," he says, disappointment laced in his voice.

I chuckle "I know."
"-and when you get home please get some rest afterward. I know I can't change you, but... "
"I got it, Foggy."
"-and don't forget to shower."
I'm stepping out the door when I hear him shout "and try not to get yourself killed out there!"
"Will do!" I shout back before leaving my apartment. "see' ya buddy!"

I listen closely for a sign, anything, that can point me to Frank. "Nothing..."
'I've been out here for 3 hours now and still, I've got nothing. Where could he be?
I let a sigh escape my lips as I sit down and let my legs dangle from off the edge of the building."Come on Frank, where are you...?"

I might occasionally post chapters that explain certain parts of the world, e.g. lore, countries, organizations, species, magic etc.
