"You okay?" Jane asks as she keeps hold of Chris's hands as he does not seem to relax at all.

"I am fine" Chris grits through his teeth, which worries her more.

"Just try to control it," Jane whispers lightly to him.

"I cannot, it's not as simple as you think," Chris snaps aloud and winces seeing her smile fall.

"I am sorry. Jane, I am trying, trying the moment we were in the car. It is hard for me, so please" Chris apologizes as well as trying to make her see the point.

"It's okay, if you want we can go back," Jane states rubbing his arm lightly.

"I am sorry to ruin the day for you" he apologizes once again but try as he might he cannot take it anymore.

He cannot stand the voices inside in his head; he cannot sit for a second longer and hear the thoughts of people around him.

"Dev, so sorry but I think we better leave" Jane informs the couple in front of her busy with their own talk.

"Why, what happened" Dev asks as he was enjoying his meal.

"I think Chris is not feeling fine," she points hurriedly getting up.

Both Ariel and Dev look towards Chris for the first time after they arrived, he looks very pale as if ready to throw up anytime.

"You okay?" Ariel asks worried as she goes to touch his arm.

That movement alone snaps Chris's control and he garbs her hands tightly in his hand, which brings a scream out of her mouth.

"Air"

Both Dev and Jane shout at once in horror as Chris looses his control.

Dev creates a shield around the four of them before he grabs Chris by his collar and push his away from the girls. Both the boys go crashing out of the window while the people in and out of the restaurant shriek and scream in terror.

Dev tries to hold Chris back but he cannot, as there were too many humans around.

"Dev" Jane shouts as she has hold of Ariel who looked pale.

"Fuck" Dev shouts before letting go of his powers and stopping the time.

Within a moment, he opens the portal and throws the three of them inside before he goes back to work by erasing all the memories of the witnesses.

Chris, along with Jane and Ariel finds themselves in the garden of Chris's house. Chris blinks back a few times as the voices inside of his head all stop and he feels light.

"Ariel, Ariel" Jane shouts trying to keep her awake.

Chris looks towards an injured Ariel then back at a frantic Jane and moves to help them.

"What, what happened?" Chris asks as he picks Ariel up in his arms and walks towards the house.

"Dev must have teleported us here when both of you gathered too many witnesses" Jane cries as she worries about Ariel's condition.

"Mom" Chris shouts for his mother who gasps as soon as she sees them.

"What...how are you here?" she asks in shock.

"I will explain later but first we need to heal her" Chris requests as he shows Ariel's hand which was twisted badly.

"Oh my" Crystal gasps seeing Ariel's arm's condition.

Chris slowly lays her down on the couch before letting Crystal handle the situation but before anyone could do anything Dev walks towards Ariel.

"I got it," he answers before slashing his wrist and sucking the blood.

They all watch in shock when Dev crashes his lips with Ariel and let her drink his blood from his mouth.

After a few seconds, he let go of her mouth and holds her arm in his hand.

"I am so sorry," he whispers before twisting her arm in one go and bringing it back in shape.

Jane winces as she hears Ariel's cry and hides her face in Chris's chest, scared.

"I am sorry" Chris apologizes once again just as Ariel looses her consciousness completely.

"No, it is all my fault I made you go out" Jane cries feeling guilty about the situation they were in.

"Jane, Chris, it's no ones fault. We all took the seriousness of the situation too lightly. But, its okay no harm done"

"How can you say that, look at her, she is hurt because of me" Chris protests as he watches Ariel's face.

"She will be fine, my Air may seem docile but I know she is brave, much braver than we give her credit...

I am sure if she was awake right now, she would have forgiven you and asked not to blame yourselves...

That is my Air, now please both of you stop feeling guilty, I will take Air back home while you two rest...

And Chris, I think we should set a time to start your training" Dev states before picking up Ariel in his arms and leaving.

"Are you both, alright?" Crystal asks once Dev leaves the house.

Chris nods towards his mother in response and goes to hug her asking her not to worry before he leaves with his mate inside of his bedroom.

The next time Connor walks in his house he finds his mate in the kitchen baking. With a frown he walks to where she was and wraps his arms around her waist.

"What is bothering you?" he asks her directly before pecking the back of her head.

"Nothing, why do you ask?" she asks instead.

"How can it be nothing if you are baking at this time of the day, so now before I find out with my own ways please share with me?" he requests as he pulls her away from her baking and settles her on a chair with her facing him.

"Well, don't be mad but Chris went out with Jane and her brother. And, they got in a bit of trouble"

"What trouble?" Connor stiffens.

"Chris could not handle being out and he accidentally attacked Ariel but she is fine Jane's brother treated her and took her back home...

Everyone is fine, Dev even said he handled the situation at the restaurant and nothing is there to worry" she assures him adding a smile.

"Okay, I will talk with Chris and Dev about it later but if everything is fine then what else is bothering you?" he asks still not getting the real reason for her worry.

"Well, you see, something happened today"

"Remember the last time we met Jane's brother, well I had this vision of him with his mate...

However, today when I saw him giving his blood to Ariel, I saw another vision this time it was...them together. How can it be, I mean his mate was different the last time I saw and now it is Ariel...

"Honey, that night you were stressed may be you got it mixed up, I am sure there is nothing to worry about" Connor tries to assure her but fails.

"No, no I saw it clearly he was with a different girl she was not Ariel but today..."

"Chrissie, what did I tell you about stressing about your visions?" Connor puts his foot down when she starts to argue.

"Yes, this is the address Ariel said as well Devilin" Adrian confirms as he too searches Eric's house.

"It seems he ran away" Rom sighs sadly at the news

"His running away will only brew more trouble for him but us as well" Dante points out looking around the house to find something

"We won't find anything; there is no scent or anything to track him. We better go" Enzo sighs as he walks out of the door with the other following him.

"How the hell did he know we were coming?" Dante frowns as they all walks towards the car.

"I think Devilin ticked him off, he must of been alert as soon as Ariel left" Adrian comments which makes the men nod.

"May be," Dante murmurs.

"What are you doing?" Adrian asks as he sees Rom walk away from the car.

"Isn't that a garbage bag?" Rom states as he opens it.

"I thought you were vampire not a dog" Dante snickers as they all make their way towards Rom.

"I think I found us something" Rom grins as he pulls the bag out of the dustbin.

"I am not touching it" Dante states as he stays away while Rom empties the bag on the ground and looks at the things that falls down.

Enzo bends along with Rom and Adrian and looks at the things. They find some injections, few empty food packets and some slips.

"What's this?" Adrian asks picking up a paper.

"It seems he had someone staying the night," he continues once he finishes reading the content of the paper.

Enzo takes the slip and reads it before he turns to look at Rom, they both look at each other but before anyone could say anything, all of their phones ring at once.

Dante rubs his face as he hears what happened at the restaurant from Connor and promises to check on the things himself.

Rom sighs as he gets a call from the HP about the restaurant incident as well and that they have a hold of the CCTV footage.

While Enzo gets call from his mate wanting him to find out more about a girl she met a few nights ago, she gives him the name and description before cutting the line.

In all of this, Adrian is the only one with a grin after the call.

"What is it?" they all ask seeing his bright face.

"I just became a grandfather, Jasmine went into labor she gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl" he grins which brings a smile onto everyone's face as they congratulate him.

They all forget about finding Eric for a little while and hurry to the car to go back home but stops when Dante speaks.

"I think I will teleport, I need to check on Jane" Dante states before he disappears.

"Seriously, this guy he could have at least gave me a lift" Adrian curses before getting inside the car.

"He is so unpredictable. He just uses his power for himself, may be if we had all teleported before we could have got a hold of Eric" Rom shakes his head.

They all get startled as Dante appears in the back seat.

"You all are too heavy and fat for me to carry that is why I did not," Dante grins before disappearing again.

"Ah this guy" Rom curses before putting his seat belt on.

"Anyway, what is your grand daughter's name?" Enzo asks starting the car forgetting about his son for a while.

"Blue" Adrian chuckles at that.

"What kind of name is that?" Rom asks confused.

"Jasmine wanted to name her that, she met a girl named blue few years back when she left the house and it seems she helped her a lot...

She lost contact with that girl, no one knows where she went or who she was but Jasmine wanted to honor the name and the girl," Adrian answers them.

"Don't you think blue is a weird name but then again we should wait till Dante has his grand child I am sure she will be named Red" Rom laughs aloud.

"No doubt" Enzo chuckles

"Red for red haired girl like blue for blue haired girl"

"You grand daughter has blue hair?" both Rom and Enzo asks at once.

"No, no it was the girl Jasmine met. She had blue hair," Adrian laughs at their horror-stricken face.

"Blue-haired girl, you say" Rom murmurs as he looks at the front.

"Yes, some people really go all the way with the colors" Enzo agrees as they drive in silence.

A knock on the door makes Rain turn around; one of the men walks in with an envelope in hand.

"What is it?" Rain asks the man.

"This is a CCTV footage that came in, something happened in the restaurant that caused a bit of terror even if the situation was handled still this is the last of the evidence" the man answers.

"You want me to clear it or?" Rain leaves the comment hanging.

"This must be filed properly and wait till Rom or anyone higher speaks on the matter till then I will leave this for you to handle" the man says before walking away.

Rain opens the envelope and looks at the CD in hand before putting in on the drive and playing it.

Ariel groans as she tries to get up from the bed but fails when a heavy arm traps her in. She groans, once again shifting on the bed but stops as the arm tightens around her.

"Dev, you are hurting me," she moans pushing his arm away.

Dev blots from the bed in horror as he hears her.

"You okay, do you need anything, where does it hurts?" he asks at once checking her from head to toe.

"Stop Dev, I am fine you were just pinning me tightly that's why I had to say so, relax" she tries to calm him down.

"Fuck Air, you scared the shit out of me. Anyway, how are you feeling?" he asks getting back in the bed.

"I am fine, feel refreshed" she smiles before her eyes roam around his body and she blushes.

"What?" Dev asks as he finds her staring at his way with a blush.

"Your clothes" she stammers pointing towards his half-naked state.

"I cannot sleep with clothes on. Just for your eyes I had to put my boxers on" he informs with a yawn.

"Breakfast?" he asks her walking out with her following him.

"I will make it you go sit," she offers.

"I was not planning on making anyway, I cannot cook a shit" he answers as he pulls a bottle of water out.

"Hmm...but you can cook" she looks at him in confusion.

"Just because I can cook does not mean I have to, go make something delicious like you said for me" he grins slapping her back.

Ariel yelps as she feels the sting of his slap staring at him wide-eyed before she goes to make some breakfast.

"Wait, we need to brush before we eat" Dev announce shutting the gas off and pulling her with him.

"You go and freshen up first I will once I make breakfast," Ariel laughs as he keeps tugging her to the bathroom.

"We can both freshen up at once, saves time" he grins putting the paste on two brushes he takes out of cabinet.

"We cannot do that," Ariel protests as she takes the brush from him and goes to brush her teeth.

"Ah right, don't worry I will close my eyes when you shower with me, promise" he winks which makes her cheeks go red.

"What is wrong with you?" she pouts turning her back to him.

As they finishes the brushing their teeth Dev turns her around to face him.

"You gave me permission not to hold back right? I am not trying to confuse your feelings but Air let us try this...

Let us give a chance for our relation to grow, more than just friends" he puts it out in front of her.

"Dev" Ariel gasps.

"I know this is all of a sudden and surprise for you but the moment I knew you were going to be someone else's I got scared, I got scared shitless...

I don't know what you feel for your so-called mate, but if by any chance when what your feeling towards him settles down let us try...

I am one hundred percent sure that Eric is not your mate but I will not pressure you to do anything you do not want...

Settle what you feel him for, if by the end you still think he is your mate then I will never bring this topic up again but if he is not your mate then give me a chance...

Ariel watches herself in the mirror standing alone in the bathroom while Dev was out in the room giving her time to settle.

She walks out of the bathroom to find him sitting on the bed so she walks up to where he is and stands in front of him.

"Dev, if you are saying all this because of what happened to me then forget it. I can handle myself, I don't always need your protection and don't worry I won't do anything stupid" Ariel clears out.

"We both know that is not the reason," he states a bit angry.

"Then what is the reason for this sudden change of heart, I thought you never saw me in that light" Ariel asks with a frustrated sigh.

"I told you the thought of you leaving my side scares me and don't deny this sudden change that has come between us...

Do not deny that when I touch you, you do not feel anything because trust me when I touch you I feel fire erupting within my entire body...

We both know the moment you opened that door for me everything between us has changed," he points out and Ariel looks at her feet.

"I thought it was only me," she whispers lowly.

"No, baby it is not. I will not let you fall alone in this," Dev whispers slowly as he holds her face in his palm and stares in her eyes.

"When Chris hurt you, I...I realized if I did not confess my feelings for you now I will never get another chance...

I do not care if you do not return my feelings but baby, you are the air of my life and I live because of you. I cannot imagine my life if you are not there" he confesses as emotions makes his throat constrict.

"Oh Dev" Ariel gasps holding both of his hands in hers and kissing it.

"Will you give us a chance" he asks her one more time and she nods her answer before wrapping her arms around him as he bends down to kiss her lips.

Engel hums a tune as she folds the clothes and put them back in the closet, she smiles as she touches Gio's shirt before hanging it.

A gasp escapes her mouth when she turns to find Gio standing in the door way with his arms folded watching her with a smile.

"You scared me" she accuses him while walking towards him.

Gio just stands and watches her walk his way; he was standing there for quiet sometimes watching her happily work. He cannot explain the happiness he felt seeing her so happy.

"What has you so happy?" he finally asks as she wraps her arms around his torso.

"One of the reasons is that I had a very good talk with my mother and we are all good"

"What about the next?" he asks lowering his head to kiss her.

"And the most important reason it's you" she smiles before she is the one that crashes their lips together.

Gio lets her lead their kiss and patiently waits, as she familiarizes herself with his mouth and completely owns it, too long, it had been too long that he has waited for her to return his feelings.
