"What the hell do you mean you're going in too?" He demanded.

"You're going in as an inside man. I'm going in as a distraction," she said, almost as if it were the simplest thing in the world. Though, they all knew it wasn't going to be simple.

"That is not-"

"I'm not asking, Bellamy," she cut him off.

"After you figure this out, I'll show you what to look for," Raven awkwardly added before walking away to leave the two to talk. Once they were in a more private area, Bellamy turned and stared at the blonde with a frown on his face.

"Jovie," he said sternly. "Have you even thought this through?"

"Have you?" She shot back. "You know better than anyone that I am the exact person to do this. Me going in isn't any more dangerous as you going in."

"Except for the fact that they will know you are there and they won't know I'm there," he pointed out.

"They'll put me with the rest of our friends. I can make sure they're okay and make sure they know we're working on a way to get them out," she said. "Right now they're probably sitting there wondering if they are ever going to make it out. If they see me they'll know."

"I can't let you put yourself in that position, Jovie," he said. "It's too risky."

"You told me to use my anger to make the Mountain Men regret taking our friends, to do it for Finn," she reminded him. "I need to do this and you need to let me do it." He stared at her for a while as he tried to figure out what to say. He didn't think there was anything he could do to stop her at this point. When Jovie made up her mind about something she followed through. He was well aware that she would risk putting her own life in danger if it meant getting a chance at saving the people she cared about. That was the thing that scared him the most, but it was also the thing that made him make up his mind.

"Promise me you'll come back to me," he practically begged. If there was one person he would show his true emotions towards, it would be Jovie. He trusted her more than anyone and he knew she felt the same towards him. It was what made their relationship so strong. "Please, Jovie."

"I promise, Bell," she said. "But you need to make it back to me too." That was also why Jovie needed to go in. She had to make sure the Mountain Men had no idea about Bellamy. If they got to him and she did nothing to try to stop them, she would never get over it. She couldn't just sit back and wait; it wasn't her style.

"Anything for you, Sunshine," he said. She smiled before draping her arms around his neck to kiss him.

The next morning everyone woke up early to get the plan started. It took Kane and Abby some convincing to let Bellamy go in as an inside man and even more convincing to let Jovie go in as a distraction.

"Jovie." She turned to see Kane standing behind her as she was packing her things up.

"What's up?"

"Can I talk to you?" He asked. She sighed before turning to face him. She already knew where the conversation was going to go. "You don't have to do this."

"Yes, I do," she said. "This plan only works if Bellamy stays alive and unnoticed. If I'm in there they won't be thinking about looking for him. I can make sure our people are safe."

"You've already done enough to make sure our people are safe," he said.

"If that was true then they wouldn't be in there," she told him. "Kane, I know you may think we are still just children, but we've done whatever it's taken to survive. When you sent us down here it was with the possibility of death but we lived. I've been fighting for myself my entire life. Now let me fight for everyone else."

He paused as he thought about her words. From the moment that he found out about Jovie on the Ark he knew what she was made of. She had a fire that made her angry and impulsive. But she also had a heart that made her brave and compassionate. He didn't think there was anyone more capable of doing this than her. The only problem he had was the same one Bellamy had: Jovie would do whatever it took to save her friends. Kane had a rocky relationship with the Murphy girl, but he would blame himself if she died doing this for them.

"Okay," he finally said. "Just be careful." She gave him a small smile as she nodded her head. She didn't need his support but having it just made her feel more confident.

"Make sure to tell my brother that I'll be back. And for him not to do anything stupid while I'm gone," she said. He laughed and nodded his head.

"Jo, we're heading out," Bellamy called over. Kane grabbed her belongings before they headed over to meet with the rest of the group.

"So, you know where you're going, right?" Clarke asked Lincoln and Bellamy as well as Jovie. Jovie and Lincoln nodded their heads. They both had their routes mapped out. Lincoln's was less difficult to figure out but that was only because he had been there before. "And you know the plan?"

"In the general sense," Jovie answered. Bellamy's mission was more specific than hers. He was in charge of lowering Mount Weather's defenses so their group and the Grounders could move in. Jovie was just there to keep the eyes turned away from Bellamy and to make sure their people knew they were working on getting them out.

"Then I think that's it," Clarke said. They all looked a bit hesitant to let them leave, but when Jovie stepped forward to give the other blonde a hug, it became more official. They all said their goodbyes but everyone secretly worried it could be a last goodbye. Anything was possible, especially with a mission as dangerous as this one, but all they could do was put their faith in Bellamy and Jovie.

Bellamy didn't want to let go of her as he said his goodbye. Whether he wanted to or not, he was going to be worried about her the entire time. He believed that she was capable but that didn't mean he liked it.

"Remember our promise," he whispered to her. It was the promise to make it back to each other.

"I will," she told him. She hesitated before saying her next words. It wasn't because she didn't want to say them but it was because it felt like more of a goodbye than she wanted it to. In the end, she said it because she would regret it if she didn't. "I love you."

"I love you too," he replied right away. They gave each other one last kiss, which felt more desperate than any other one they had ever had before pulling away. Jovie took a deep breath before nodding to her group. Raven was the last person to say anything before she headed off towards Mount Weather.

"Wreak havoc, Jovie Murphy."
