Eventually everything just fell silent. The three of them had stopped talking and Raven's screams stopped too. Jovie thought of any different way that she could try to escape. She could pretend to get hurt and make them take her to the med bay, she could rub the wire against the pole until it cut off, she could just start screaming until they got annoyed enough and just let her go. In the end, it was Finn that came in to save them.
"Get up. We're going after them," he said as he cut Bellamy and Jovie free. Jovie jumped to her feet, rubbing her sore wrists from the wires that had been digging into her skin.
"It's about time," Bellamy said as he stood next to Jovie.
"Wait, wait. What about me?" Murphy called after them. Jovie was about to tell him he could just sit here and think about all the fucked up things he's done, but then rethought it. She didn't trust him. If they left him here then he could do whatever he wanted. If he went with them, then she could make sure he didn't do anything stupid. In the end, she walked over to him and yanked him to his feet.
"What are you doing?" Finn asked.
"He's coming with us," Bellamy said, coming to the same conclusion that Jovie did.
"No way!" Finn argued, trying to stop Jovie and Bellamy.
"He's been to the Grounder prison camp," Bellamy said.
"He's right, okay?" Murphy said. "I can bring you there." Jovie ran a hand through her hair. The last thing she wanted to do was have to babysit her brother, but if he did something stupid here, she would feel the responsibility. Besides, they did need him to show them the way. Jovie had only seen two of their villages. Neither of them seemed like the type to hold prisoners.
"I want to have him where I can keep an eye on him," Jovie told Finn. She then looked over at her brother. "You say you're sorry? Well, you're gonna have to prove it."
"Hey. Sterling just signaled. Someone's coming," Monroe said. Finn, Jovie, and Bellamy all looked at each other before Finn nodded and Bellamy pushed Murphy forward. All Jovie could hope for is that Murphy meant it when he said he was sorry. Otherwise, she would make him feel sorry.

It was a good thing that it was dark out now because they were better able to sneak out without anyone noticing. They started to head towards the woods when two flashlights were aimed at them.
"Fuck," Jovie mumbled. When they saw the sources of the flashlights were Abby and a guard, she sighed. They were just going to be brought straight back to being locked up again. It was Abby's words that shocked her.

"You're late," she said. Jovie looked over at Finn, confused at what was going on. It seemed like she was on their side, but why?
"Bellamy and Jovie decided to bring company," he said, referring to Murphy.
"Trust me, you'll thank me for getting him off your chest," Jovie said to Abby.
"You're relentless," her brother mumbled from next to her. She rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smirk a bit. Abby and the man started handing over guns, but Jovie refused to take one.
"Jo, just take it," Bellamy said. He didn't want her let unarmed. That was too dangerous. She would have to get over her dislike of guns if she wanted to stay safe.
"I won't," she said. She'd rather fight with her hands than take one of the guns.
"Oh, I almost forgot," Abby said, leaning into her bag to pull out Jovie's daggers. An immediate smile formed on her face as she grabbed her daggers from the woman.
"Thanks," she said.
"Okay, can we go now?" Bellamy said.
"Wait, here," the man said, handing over his own gun to Bellamy. "Find my son. His name is Nathan Miller." Jovie's ears perked up at the name. She had become friends with Nathan when they guarded together. He was also Bellamy's most trusted guard.
"Bring them home," Abby said. They all nodded before running off into the woods to find their friends.
♛
"Alright, Murphy, where to now?" Bellamy asked. Whether or not their friends would be at the same prison camp that they had held Murphy was a huge mystery, but it was the only place they could think of.
"I say we lose these first, alright?" He said, holding up his wrists that were still tied up.
"No," Jovie replied right away.
"Hey, if we get attacked out here I have nothing to defend myself-"
"I don't care," Bellamy interrupted. Before Murphy could try to plead his case again, Finn walked over and cut him free.
"Thank you," Murphy said, rubbing his wrists.
"Spacewalker," Jovie said. She gave him a look of disbelief. He was the one that had given them shit for wanting to bring Murphy along in the first place. That didn't mean they wanted him to be free.
"Hey, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asked when he saw what Finn did.
"It was your idea to bring him," Finn reminded the two.
"Yeah, because he's the only one who's seen where the Grounders keep their prisoners," Bellamy reiterated.
"Then we probably shouldn't let him be defenseless out here," Finn explained. If Murphy was killed then they were left in the dark again. "We can handle Murphy."

"Better hope so," Bellamy said. Jovie wanted to believe that she could handle Murphy. Though, if it really came to it, she wasn't sure she would be able to put him down. Despite everything that he did or didn't do, he was still her twin brother. That was never going to change.
"So, do I get a gun now?" Murphy asked. Bellamy just shoved him forward in response.
♛
They had been trekking through the woods for a while before Murphy started to slow down. Jovie noticed how nervous he was starting to look, and it made her realize that they had to be getting close. He had been tortured for days where they were headed. It was bound to bring up unwanted memories. Suddenly, he dropped low to the ground.
"Everybody down! Now!" Murphy grabbed Jovie when she hesitated, yanking her down next to him. She was trying to figure out what she was looking at. All she saw were a bunch of Grounders at some camp. There was nothing out of the ordinary that would make her think that their friends were here. It made her worried that they were just dead. "This is it. Told you I'd find it." Bellamy aimed his gun towards the Grounders to use the scope to get a better look.
"I see nothing but Grounders," he said. Finn grabbed Sterling's gun to look for himself. "Our people aren't here," Bellamy concluded. Jovie grabbed Bellamy's gun to look around, trying to spot anything that could indicate whether or not their friends had been there.
"Wait," she said, focusing her attention on some Grounders that were holding up tents. "They have stuff from the dropship." She handed the gun back to Bellamy so he could look.
"Maybe they know where our friends are," he said after he saw what she noticed.
"Yeah or maybe they killed them already," Murphy commented.
"Shut up," Jovie snapped. It was what she was thinking too, but it sounded worse actually coming out of his mouth. She didn't want it to be true.
"Son of a bitch," Finn said a second later as he continued to look through the scope.
"What is it?" Bellamy asked.
"The guy with the one eye," Finn said. Bellamy held his gun up to look at the Grounder. "Around his neck."
"What am I looking at?" Bellamy asked. Finn lowered his gun and looked over at them.
"He's got Clarke's watch. It was her father's," Finn explained.
"She wouldn't give that up without a fight," Bellamy said.
"Neither will we," Finn said. Jovie stood to her feet to get closer, but Bellamy was quick to stop her, pulling her back down to the ground so they wouldn't see her.
"Hey, slow down," he ordered. "We can't just go in there without a plan. That's how we get ourselves killed."
"Then what's the plan?" She asked impatiently. She wasn't good with plans, but Bellamy was right. They had to think about how to go about this before acting. They had guns, but there were a lot more Grounders than there were them.
"Okay, you and Finn are with me," Bellamy said. "You two stay here, out of sight. This thing goes south, take out the other Grounders, but don't shoot the Grounder with the watch. Copy?"
"Copy," Sterling and Monroe said.
"What about Murphy?" Monroe pointed out.
"Yeah, do I get a gun now?" He asked.
"Something like that," Bellamy said vaguely before grabbing him by the collar and yanking him up. Finn took hold of Murphy as Bellamy turned to Jovie. "You stick to my plan, okay? Don't go off doing whatever the hell you want."
"Why would I ever do that?" She joked, making him raise his eyebrows. She let out a quiet laugh before nodding her head in agreement. Bellamy knew what to expect with her now, but she was still so unpredictable. He knew how she acted, but didn't know what she would do. She would do anything and that was what scared him.
"Alright, here it is. Murphy, you're going to cause a distraction. Just one enough to get the one-eyed Grounder's attention. You lure him out and we knock him out," Bellamy said. "Simple enough."
"Let's hope so," Jovie mumbled. Everything sounded simple and easy in theory. It almost never was though.
Murphy started clicking the two rocks together, and fortunately it did only lure the one Grounder over. As soon as he got closer, Murphy snuck away so that he wasn't caught. If they were going to use him as a distraction, they had to at least make sure he was safe and not killed. Just as he rounded the tree that Murphy had been just behind, Bellamy slow stood up and slammed the Grounder in the face, knocking him straight out cold. Jovie ran out to check to make sure that he was actually unconscious, and Finn was quick to follow her. He leaned down and wrapped his fingers around Clarke's watch before angrily ripping it off his neck.
"We need to take him somewhere quiet," Bellamy said. The last thing they needed was a bunch of Grounders attacking them when they were trying to get answers.
"I know just the place," Finn said.
