Jovie stood to the side with her arms crossed after Kane cut them free. He had saved them, but that didn't mean she forgot who he was. He was the face of punishment on the Ark, alongside Chancellor Jaha. Despite how angry she had been for being sent down to Earth to possibly die, she was happier that it was just the delinquents. Now that the Ark was down, these adults were going to start acting like they were in charge again. She wasn't going to have an easy time accepting that. These kids had become adults the second they were sent to Earth, so she wasn't going to let Kane and the others stomp all over that.

At the moment, Kane was examining Tristan's body and Jovie couldn't help but roll her eyes.

"He's dead, you know," she said dryly. "A gunshot to the head will do that to a person." Kane glanced up at her and frowned. He recognized her right away. She and Octavia shocked the Ark by being second children. Jovie also managed to cause quite a ruckus in the Earth Skills class they made the delinquents take. Jovie Murphy had made her presence known on the Ark and Kane didn't think it would be any different on Earth. She was going to be trouble.

He didn't say anything in response and Jovie was glad for that. She already had the urge to punch him in the face. Anything coming out of his mouth would just make her actually want to do it. Instead, Abby Griffin came running over to her and the two boys.

"Hey. Where's Clarke? Is she alright?" She asked desperately.

"She was when we left. We'll take you to her," Bellamy replied. Abby let out a sigh and nodded her head, beyond relieved that her daughter was still alive.

"Okay, you six with me. You three, lead the way," Kane said as he finished talking with Sinclair. Jovie couldn't help but smirk as she turned around to lead the way. She wasn't even doing anything much special, but the fact that Kane was relying on them made her feel some kind of pleasure.

"You really hate him, don't you?" Bellamy said quietly to her as they walked in front.

"Authority figures aren't my thing," she replied. He laughed and shook his head. He knew that firsthand. She had resisted his orders from day one and still did, even when they were together. He couldn't imagine what shit she would give Kane.

Jovie looked over at Finn and Bellamy as they approached the outskirts of the camp. It was way too quiet for the amount of delinquents who had made it in the dropship. Even if they were trying to recover from the fight, there would still be some kind of noise.

"Something's not right," Jovie noted.

"It's too quiet," Kane confirmed. "We'll take it from here. Banks, Scanlon, you stay with them. We'll signal once we're sure it's safe." Jovie balled her hand into a fist. They had been on the ground way longer than the Ark had been. They had fought Grounders. They weren't just some children that needed to be protected.

"Calm down, Sunshine," Bellamy whispered, reaching over to put his hand on top of her fist. He was just as annoyed with the Ark as she was, but he expected them to come down and act like they were in charge again. It didn't mean that he had to like it or accept it, but he couldn't let Jovie run wild and create mayhem. Kane would make sure she paid a price if she did.

Jovie watched in anger as a few of the guards, Kane, and Abby entered the dropship. If their friends were in danger then she wanted to be there to help them. Being forced to stay back was not her strong suit.

"We need a stretcher!" One of the guards screamed from near the dropship. Jovie was the first to run up the hill to get to the guards, Bellamy and Finn right behind her. Needing a stretcher meant someone was hurt.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" The guard stopped them from passing.

"Get the fuck out of my way," Jovie growled. Bellamy pulled her back, looking over at Finn for a brief moment. When Finn nodded, Bellamy leaned down to whisper in Jovie's ear.

"Tunnel," he whispered so that the guards wouldn't hear. Jovie nodded. They knew the in's and out's of the camp. If they wanted to get in, they would. Without wasting another moment, the three sprinted away.

"Get back here!" The guard screamed as they ran away. They quickly ran through the tunnel until they got inside the camp, pausing when they saw how empty it was. All that was left was the ashes from the ring of fire. Jovie didn't want to think about all the lives that were taken because of it, Grounder or delinquent.

"Where is everyone?" Bellamy was the first to ask. They slowly walked in, looking around to try to figure out what had happened. It was when Jovie heard another familiar voice that she looked up to see Kane helping her brother out of the dropship. Her stomach immediately dropped as she stared at him. The last time that she had seen him was when he tried to kill Bellamy. She had lost all trust in him and frankly felt disgusted by the sight of him. Never once had he fucked up so badly to make her feel that way about him. She always gave him the benefit of the doubt because of what he had gone through. She always had his back and tried to fight for him. After doing what he did, knowing how it would affect Jovie, all she felt when she looked at him was betrayed.

When Murphy realized that the three of them were standing there, he looked shocked.

"Bellamy. Jovie. You're alive," he said. Before Jovie could even react, Bellamy was charging straight for Murphy. He knocked him to the ground out of Kane's arms, wrapping his hands around Murphy's throat.

"You murdering son of a bitch!" Bellamy screamed before punching him in the face.

"Bellamy, stop!" Finn screamed. Usually Jovie would have been the one to scream at him to stop. This time she wanted to hit her brother just as badly. She was already making her way over to them when the guard used an electric baton to stop Bellamy. The second he rolled off of Murphy, Jovie threw a punch at his face.

"Fuck you, John!" She screamed, angry tears building up in her eyes. She didn't know if she was ever going to see her brother again, but the fact that it was so soon after what happened made her angry and frustrated. She was still trying to figure out how to deal with it all and of course he had to show up again to remind her of it. Before she could get another punch in, the guard struck her with the baton, making her collapse onto the ground next to Bellamy. Kane stood above the two, staring down at them as they laid there in pain.

"Place them under arrest," he ordered. Two guards came over and pulled Bellamy and Jovie to their feet, holding onto them tightly.

"Wait. You don't understand. Murphy murdered two of our people. He shot another one. He tried to hang Bellamy!" Finn explained to Kane as the two were being put in cuffs behind them.

"I don't care. You are not animals!" Kane said. "There are rules. Laws." He walked over to look at Bellamy and Jovie who were being held by the guards. "You are not in control here anymore."

"We'll see about that," Jovie replied calmly but angrily.
