Okay, This isn't my best chapter. I'm really sorry, it's a fiiller chapter with some humor and suggestiveness. Let me know what you guys think!

Chapter 8:

Baila's POV.

"I'm Home!" I called through the pack house. I knew my family could hear me. Jacob and Alex stood on either side of me looking around. Alex was looking for Seth, and Jacob kept saying something felt weird. His wolf was going crazy, that made him on high alert.

"Baila! Honey, we're so happy to see you!" My dad had tears in his eyes as he hugged me.

"Wow! You've grown, and your glowing!" My mom exclaimed hugging me as well, not to be rude but she's gained weight. She now had to lean over to hug me. It's almost like she was, nahhhh.... "That must mean one of these strapping young men is your mate. I take it that'd be you?" She pointed at Alex.

"Yes ma'am. I have the privilege of being bound to your daughter for the rest of eternity. May I say it's easy to see where she gets her beauty from." He politely kissed the top of my mom's hand and shook my dad's. "William, it's been a while."

"Alex?" He nodded. "Why, that it has been. I haven't seen you or your father since you were 5 years old! Wow, you've grown up into such a fine young man. Tell me, how is your father?"

"He's great. They're currently visiting a pack in florida. I hate to ruin the surprise but he did say he was going to stop here as well before heading back to California. He misses you probably as much as you miss him." My father nodded.

"We grew up together. He was the Beta of this pack's son. We were best friends. Then when he met your mom he had to go become the Alpha of that back because they didn't have a son." I nodded.

"Speaking of, what are we going to do?" My parents looked at me quizzically. "If Alex and I are in California, who's going to become Alpha of this pack when dad can't?"

"Ah, Baila, there's something we need to tell you. We didn't know how to contact you because you didn't ever contact us so..."

"We're afraid you're the last to know." finished my father.

"Last to know what?"

"I'm 3 months pregnant. I'm due in 2 weeks."

"Boy?"

"Two boys..." she exclaimed.

"MOM! I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU!"

"Are you sure it's not taking attention from you finding your mate? I promise we didn't mean to. It just kind of happened."

"No. Don't ever say something like that. I thought the doctor said you couldn't have any more kids?"

"He was wrong. Besides, Doctor Shaun was getting old. Now we have Elliot. He's amazing. He even went to medical school at Harvard!"

"Elliot, Seth's brother Elliot?" Both my parents nodded. They looked at the ground. No one knew how I'd react to Seth yet. Alex even went forward to wrap his arms around my waist. "Mom, dad, I'm over Seth. The connection isn't even there anymore. Besides, Alex is my life now and I couldn't have been more blessed. He's the best mate I could ever ask for." Alex smiled, and my parents beamed. They were so proud of how I've moved on.

"That's good to know darling." My dad was the first to speak.

"Why don't we go to our house and get you three settled?"

"Wait, where's Kelsey?"

"OH! She was here a few minutes ago. She, I think, went back to our house. She moved in with us when her mom and dad left for Hawaii for four months."

"That's cool." Jacob sniffed the air one last time before we left. I looked at him with an eyebrow raised and he just mouthed 'I don't know' to Alex and I. I thought I had a suspicion. If I was right, I'd be the happiest girl on earth.

Jacob's sniffing only got more urgent as we got closer to my house. By the time we got to my doorstep he was inhaling deeply through his nose every two seconds. Alex finally had to say something.

"Man, slow down. You're going to pass out."

"I know, but dude something smells so good! I don't know what it is." My parents opened the door while Kelsey was walking around in her sports bra and yoga shorts with headphones in. Jacob's eyes had dilated and it didn't take long for his whole Iris to go black. Kelsey took out her headphones and looked at Jacob.

"Mate!" They said in sync. I just laughed.

"What?" Alex asked.

"I called it already at the pack house!"

"What?"

"I knew they'd be mates. The minute mom said that Kelsey had just been there, I knew it." Kelsey jumped into Jacob's arms and kissed him thoroughly. He let out a satisfied moan.

"GROSS!" Alex and I said in unison. Kelsey looked at me and sniffed, laughing her head off.

"According to my senses, you've done worse!" She laughed even harder at my blushing. "Come here and give me a hug girl! Whose this hot hunk you brought with you??? Second mate? Wish mine was that hot!" She joked.

"Yeah,"

"Hey!" Jacob complained. Kelsey laughed.

"The names Kelsey, Kelsey Wolf." She put out her hand, Jacob chuckled.

"Jacob, Jacob Parker."

"Pleasure to meet you." Kelsey smiled. "Is that better you two?"

"Yes!" Alex groaned out..

"Aw c'mon man, that time I walked in on you and Baila?"

"Well, you should have knocked!"

"The door was barely closed! I did knock it just opened!"

"Well, you know what!"

"What?!"

"I'll be sure to pay back the favor!" They both fell over laughing.

"Man, you better not! I'm positive that last thing you want to see is my ass. I sure didn't want to see yours!"

"Your Beta walked in on you two having sex?" I nodded and laughed.

"So, how has the pack been?"

"Great! Wendy found her mate, as did Alysha, Hannah, Kayla, all mated off. I was the last one. Hannah even had a kid. She has a beautiful little girl now..."

"Whoa, Wendy found her mate?!?!?!"

"Yeah, he's probably the most forgiving man on the face of this planet. I doubt I could forgive my mate for mating with someone else." She smirked at Jacob.

"Babe, I've only ever had eyes for you."

"Uhuh." Alex nodded. "Wouldn't even date. I'm surprised he even knew how to kiss seeing as that was his first one. He has his 100% pure V-card."

"So what happened to Seth?" I asked out of curiosity.

"He's kinda let himself go. It's weird and gross." I laughed. That's what happens when you're a jerk.

"Sounds like he got what he deserved."

"For sure."

We sat around and talked for a little bit after that. Then we all decided to go our separate ways. Jacob and Kelsey wanted some "alone time" before dinner and to be honest, I could use some with Alex as well. Being home with Seth still poking around was putting me on edge. They say if you don't have a mate or you lose your mate it makes you crazy...I didn't want to stick around and find out.

Kelsey dragged Jacob up to her floor of the house and I dragged Alex up to mine. When we set foot into my floor his mouth fell open. Although I guess that makes sense. Not a lot of people have their own floor to themselves. By parents owned a 6 story mansion, plus a basement. Each floor was connected by various staircases and an elevator. Each floor had 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and all had walk in closets the size of a normal persons bedroom. My Grandpa had it built for the Alpha. He said that no matter what they should have the most extravagant building in the territory. Our pack house was still taller but that wasn't as lavished.

"Holy crap!"

"Yeah, my grandpa built it for the Alpha of the pack. Something about showing your power through the architecture? Anyway, so we each have our own floor. I think he built it though so his kids didn't have to listen to their parents mate. I certainly didn't want to hear mine." Alex laughed.

"Yeah I could see how that would be weird..."

I walked into my bathroom and started running myself a bath. I sighed and smiled at my neatly arranged toiletries. They were just how I'd left them. I bought all new ones wherever I went so I didn't have to lug as much around. Then I felt arms wrap around my midsection.

"Whatcha doin, baby?"

"Running a bath."

"Why not take a shower....with me?" He gazed at my massive shower. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see what he was thinking about.

"I guess...." I chuckled before turning around and jumping on him.

Thank Goodness these floors were sound proof.
