Amy, dressed in black, is waiting with all of her luggage, she is in mourning. A carriage approaches and Lottie gets out. She tentatively walks to Amy "I couldn't let you travel alone with Aunt March being so sick- even if you do despise me." Lottie kept her head down "Oh Lottie I don't despise you." Amy grabs Ly into a hug as she begins to cry, seeing Lottie makes her so sad Lottie and Beth where always so close Lottie found comfort in the quite March and seemed to always make the red head laugh whether it was playing a note wrong on the piano and making a strange frustrating noise or simply acting Lottie always made her laugh. Lottie joined Amy in crying the Marches meant an awful lot to the Laurence children growing up with only themselves they found it amazing to be friends with four crazy, talented beautiful, intelligent girls and Lottie knew now that it would never be the same she would be missing a bit of her self she would be missing one of her friends a friendship that in Lottie's head should have lasted longer than a life time. Amy was the first to speak still holding the small brunette "she was the best of us." Lottie stays quiet letting Amy cry as Amy let's her go she looks at her " I'm not marrying Fred Vaughn." Lottie looks at her " I heard.... Amy..." Amy rushes her words "it was not for you it was for myself. You are under no obligation to say anything or do anything, it was because I didn't love him as I should." Lottie just looks up at the youngest March as Amy continues to ramble on " You don't have to say anything, we never need to talk about it, we don't have to talk about...." Lottie stands on her tippy toes grabbing Amy's cheeks stained from crying in her hands and kisses her. Amy looks down at her and kisses her back. They embrace with both their joy and grief. She loves her back Amy loves her "you have no idea how long I have wanted to do that Darling ."

Concord 1869

Jo is asleep on the couch when the Laurence siblings walk up to the attic. Laurie shakes her "Jo?wake up!" Jo seems to jump off the chair as she grabs Laurie into a hug "Oh Teddy oh my Teddy!" "Dear Jo are you glad to see us then." Jo turns her head to see Lottie standing at the top of the stairs "Glad, my blessed boy, is too small! Words can't express it." Laurie pulls away from her "oh thank heaven, I was worried, well, anyway we wanted a moment alone with you." Hi scrambles over to Lottie and drags her over "of course here take a seat." There is a silence no one knows what to say "How's Amy? Did she bother you all the way from Europe Charlie?" Lottie laughs "yes but I love it." Jo grew curious "where is she now did she not come straight home?" Lottie looked at Laurie "your mother's got her down at Meg's, we stopped there by the way, and there is no getting my wife out of their clutches." Jo looks at her surprised "your what?" "Now I've done it ! It's supposed to be a surprise we are meant to tell everyone when we are all together. You see em we got Laurie to pretend to be a priest and we bought our rings and said our vows so we are "Married." Since we can't actually marry each other in a church.I'm sorry Jo." Lottie was beyond nervous the girl she had looked up to for so very long who didn't want any of her sisters to leave her they where her sisters and Lottie was claiming Amy. But Jo was happy she was beyond happy for her little sister and the small brunette "nonsense there is no need for you to be sorry I was wondering when you two would end up together, oh Beth would have loved to see you both so happy." This made Lottie tear up as she excused herself to give Laurie and Jo some privacy. Laurie turned to Jo " I am happy that you are happy about this you have no idea how worried she was about telling you she quite literally vomited out the carriage window on the way over, but I have something to tell you." Just a Laurie went to continue Kate Vaughn came up the stairs "Laurie sweetheart they are back come the girls want to tell us something." "I will be down in a second sweetheart I am just going to finish talking to Jo." As Kate left Jo looked at Laurie "Jo listen you where right we would have killed each other the love I had for you the love I have for you is something special just not in a Man to wife way I love you so very much I hope you remember." Jo looked at Laurie "Do you love her Teddy." Laurie laughed "you where the only one who called me that but yes Jo I am in love I love her." Jo smiled sadly "What does Kate call you?" This cause Laurie to laugh " My lord." "Jo could we still be friends." Jo grabs his hand " oh my boy of course." Just then Lottie shouts up the stairs "would you to please come down here we don't have all day." This cause Laurie and Jo to laugh "well she is not as shy as she used to be I see." Amy walks over to Jo as they arrive down stairs as Laurie walks over to Kate kissing her head and then standing by Lottie"Lottie told you?" "Yes she did" Jo grabs Amy into a hug "so your not mad then." This causes Jo to chuckle "life is to short to be mad at ones sisters and even at that I could never be mad at you for falling in love." Jo whispers to Amy "you have a beautiful wife Amy one that loves you very much I wish you health and happiness." Jo squeezes her one last time before letting her go. Jo walks to her mother as Amy clears her throat as she holds her hand out for Lottie . "I have an announcement to make, one that I really wish Beth was here for, because I now know this is something she wanted for a long time. When Meg and John where getting married Beth, Lottie and I talked about getting married some day, I have talked about marriage with Aunt March I don't know how many times and I talked about it with Fred Vaughn whom as you can tell I refused when he asked for my hand in marriage. I refused because I was not in love with him I was in love with somebody else, someone I can not marry because it is not right in the churches eyes but she is my wife thanks to Laurie, this beautiful girl who is standing beside holding my hand is my wife. I hope you are all ok with this as I have already disappointed Aunt March by not marrying Fred and loving a girl so I hope you can except this." Amy paused scared of her family's reaction as they where yet to say anything. It was loud very loud the sound of every person in the room running to the pair of girls to tell them they loved them and where happy for them and that is took them long enough and how they where just disappointed that they couldn't have waited till they got home so they could all be there . Jo grabbed Amy again and pulled Meg in with them as the three March sisters hugged "I miss her." "We know Amy and she missed you too but she knew you loved her and she would be so delighted with this news she probably would have thrown a pillow at you and screamed finally." This cause the girls to laugh. Jo lifts her head up "Charlie get over here and join our hug instead of standing there crying and laughing." Lottie comes over as the four girls hug as everyone else smiles looking at them Marmee start to tear up happy that her youngest is happy and in love and had finally realised what had been in front of her for so long.
