As I was collecting my money from this group of people I see a guy walk over to Tati telling her something as she nodded and looked over at me motioning for me to come here.

"Wassup who was that".I asked taking my towel wiping the counter.

"Muhammad wants to see us in his office".She said grabbing my hand following behind this Duke guy.

"Girl what time do we get off my feet are killing me and I'm hungry".I said throwing my head back with a sigh.

"We got another two hours and there's this dinner across the street we'll go after we get done talking to Muhammad". She said as we walked in behind Duke.

"Why the fuck you in my club".He asked with some base in his voice as he pushed the chair back.

"Yea Tati why the fuck you here".I heard another voice say.

That must be they guy she slept with at the party that night that she's been talking about.

"I-I needed a job so did Ari".She said stuttering causing me to look over at her with the wtf face because she never stutters.

"Money for what and Y'all look up from now on".Muhammad said and Tati looked up seeing as I was already looking at him.

"Umm umm".I started but I could figure out why I was so scared to tell him I was pregnant.

"Speak the fuck up".He yelled causing me and Tati to jump.

"I'm pregnant and I need the money".I said looking around the room.

"PREGNANT, unh unh Tati you better not be pregnant either".Abdul said standing up pacing the room holding his forehead being dramatic causing us all to laugh.

"I'm not pregnant but that's my baby".She said as he grabbed her hand and lead her to the couch to sit down while I sat in the chair in front of the desk.

"Hold the fuck on Tati Abdul told me you was 19". Muhammad said with his eyebrows scrunched up.

"19, aye look boss man she told me she was 22".Duke said pleading his case to Muhammad as Abdul mugged him.

"It's cool she almost of age as long as she ain't stripping but what about you how old is you shorty".He asked as all eyes shifted to me.

"oh me".I asked pointing to myself.

"Duh Ari".Abdul said tapping his forehead rolling his eyes.

"I'm um".I started to say before Tati hopped up.

" she's 19 too".She said and he nodded letting it go.

"Ight imma let y'all stay employed here cause y'all need the money but don't ask me about stripping cause the answer is going to be fucking no".He said sitting back down.

"Alright,Ari let's go eat so we can feed my baby".Tati said coming and helping me stand up.

"Food oh we going too".Abdul said standing up grabbing his phone.

"Y'all only get a 40-minute break but where we going".Muhammad said grabbing his keys and pulling up his pants.

"I gotta head home to my girl catch y'all later".Duke said walking out.

"I know that and we're going to the diner across the street". Tati called out as we walked out of the room and slipped on some pants before walking out of the club.

"Y'all my type of people breakfast at night I knew I wasn't the only one".Abdul said running across the street almost getting hit by a car.

"Yo, what the fuck watch out you almost hit my fucking cousin bitch".Muhammad yelled hitting the hood of the car trying to walk over to the driver's side.

"I'm good cuz let's just go".Abdul said leading him in the direction of the diner as we followed behind.

"How many".The waitress said looking down.

"Four".I said and she looked at me with a mug.

"Fuck is you looking at".I asked mugging her back.

"Yo chill the fuck out bitch ight".Muhammad said with a mug on his face.

"Yea do what he said and chill out".I said looking her up and down.

"Nah I was talking to you".He said causing the girl to laugh and Tati's mouth to drop as I rushed to the bathroom.

"Sissy it's okay don't let that nigga get to you alright".She said wiping my tears as I stood in front of the mirror.

"I thought he would be nice you know since he came out to eat with us he didn't even say nothing to that girl, he embarrassed me".I said as more tears fell and Tati rubbed my stomach.

"Calm down sissy fr don't stress the baby and damn sure don't worry about Muhammad after we eat we clocking out and going home".She said wiping my eyes with a tissue.

"You right I can't just think about myself this baby is for me and you".I said sniffling as I stood up straight.

"Now let's go out here and feed our baby just ignore him".She said and I nodded following behind her to the table.

"You good Ari".Abdul asked when I slide in the booth beside Muhammad.

"Yes, I'm fine thanks for asking Abdul".I said giving him a small smile picking up my menu.

"What you do go to the bathroom and cry weak ass".Muhammad said laughing but doing as Tati said I ignored him.

"You fucking deaf answer me when I ask you something".He said snatching my chin making me look at him.

"Yo, what the fuck get your hands off her".Tati said trying to stand up but Abdul held her down.

"Do you fucking understand".He asked squeezing harder causing tears to form.

"Yes, I hear you".I said and he pushed my face just as the same waitress came back.

"Oh shit you still here after he embarrassed you".She asked with a small smile.

"Bitch do you want your ass whooped or what stop coming for my bitch".Tati said pointing her finger in the girl's face and the girl smacked her hand down.

Going to get up so that I could move out of the way I guess Muhammad thought I was trying to fight her.

"Yo, you a stupid bitch son you pregnant and still trying fight you must not care about that baby".He said shaking his head giving me a mean mug.

"What...I".I started to say but he cut me off.

"Man let's go I can't hang with these ghetto ass bitches man".He said pushing me out the booth so that he could get out.

"Dont fucking push her nigga she pregnant are you crazy I don't give a fuck who you are don't keep putting your fucking hands on her period".Tati yelled drawing attention to our table.

"Yo, cuz control yo bitch".He said walking out with Abdul following behind him shaking his head.

"What the hell just happened".I asked plopping down in the booth.

"Girl I got us a new waitress and I order our food already". She said sitting down with a sigh as she put our drinks down.

"How did you know what I wanted".I asked laughing at the face she made.

"Girl since this morning you been saying how you wanted waffles, fruit, and eggs".She said typing away on her phone.

"I wonder what was up with that waitress".I said as I watched her put her phone down.

"What's up with me is that you walked in here with my man".She said stopping in front of the table.

"Who Muhammad you can have him I don't even know him like that".I said looking around the diner.

"Mm just stay away from him or it won't be pretty".She said rolling her eyes as she walked off.

"These hoes tripping over dick now where have we been".Tati said causing me to laugh.

"Hi here's your food enjoy".The waitress said smiling as she walked away I dug in.

"Oh my gosh bitch this food is good as hell how come we never came here".Tati asked moaning as she ate a piece of pancake.

"Never heard of it I guess and them shits nasty".I said gesturing towards her pancakes.

"No those shits nasty".She said stuffing eggs in her mouth.

"They're the same thing".An older women behind me said.

"No, they're not".We said at the same time causing us to laugh.

"Yes, they are young ladies".She said back.

"Then why they taste different".I asked and she didn't say anything.

"Like I thought".I mumbled.

"You ready for school tomorrow".Tati asked taking a sip from her drink. I finish what I had in my mouth before speaking.

"I mean idk I just don't want people talking about me being a pregnant senior".I said wiping my mouth with a napkin.

"Girl I'll be right there with you if you need me".She said as we finished up.

"Alright, I texted Abdul and told him to clock us out let's go home and sleep".She said throwing money on the table following behind me as I walk out and across the street to her mom's car getting in.

Pulling up in front of my house we get out and I unlock the for walking to my room with Tati in tow.

"I'm finna take a shower".I said grabbing my night clothes and walking into the bathroom cutting on the water and stripping out of my clothes and getting in.

A few minutes into my shower I hear the door open and Tati walks in. I didn't say anything because she's seen me naked plenty of times and vice versa. But something didn't feel right.

Looking over I see her staring at me biting her bottom lip.

"What are you doing". I ask with a confused look.

"Uh I needs a towel". She said rushing to grab one before walking out.

After about fifteen minutes I cut the water off and step out drying off before putting on my clothes and walking out of the bathroom just as Tati walked in.

"Bitch you scared me".She said holding her chest breathing heavily.

"No you just scary period".I said laughing as she cut the light off and we got in the bed.

"Alright, baby mama I love you goodnight".She said turning her back towards me.

"Goodnight love you too sissy".I say closing my eyes.
