《Together we howl》Chapter 9

The next morning was hectic, Ginny and I were enthusiastic, too enthusiastic in Luna's opinion, about seeing Paul and Sam again. Of course, I looked forward to seeing Jared and I hoped to see Jacob soon as well, for an unknown reason, I feel extremely protective of them all. I had always been rather maternal and motherly, especially with those I care about but this feeling was more intense.
After my long shower, I changed into some blue skinny jeans and a bralette, which reveals all three of my tattoos. I decided on some light make-up, just a simple mascara and lipgloss, and put my hair into a fish braid. Once I was satisfied with how I looked, I went downstairs to start breakfast for everyone, making sure to cook a lot more for grown shapeshifting wolves.
"Well, don't you look sexy" Ginny complimented as she slapped my arse. I let out a gasp before giggling as she wiggles her eyebrows. A minute or so later, Luna entered with a wide smile.
"Good morning" She sings cheerfully, I look at Ginny with a raised eyebrow to which she simply shrugged and greeted Luna with a kiss on the cheek.
"Good morning, you seem happy this morning"
"I believe the wrackspurts decided to leave me alone" She responded softly, causing Ginny to roll her eyes with a small laugh whilst I nod my head in understanding. Luna had always been rather odd, though it took us a long time to realise that she was able to see things that we weren't, and whatever she says, we need to listen to. The benefit of being friends with a seer, we know which route will lead us to the right decision and which one would not.
I continued with making breakfast, stacks upon stacks of pancakes, along with some bacon, eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice, unless they would rather have some tea or coffee. It wasn't long until the doorbell rang, Ginny jumped from her seat instantly and ran to the door, causing Luna and me to laugh at her eagerness. As she strolled back into the door, she sent us a half-hearted glare as we watched her in amusement.
"Good morning boys, come and sit, breakfast is ready" I announce and watch as their eyes light up. As they took their seats, a large smile formed on my face when I spot a figure hovering in the doorway, standing awkwardly.
"Jacob, sit your arse down and eat" I demanded softly, his eyes widened slightly before rushing towards the spot beside Luna. She looked over at him with a large smile, to which he returned, though not as bright but more awkwardly.
"This is delicious" Paul groaned with his mouth full, making my nose scrunch up in disgust.
"Paul, don't talk whilst you're eating" I sighed. He swallowed his mouthful and mumbled an apology before returning to his meal. I turned towards Sam, who was watching me with a dazed look.
"Are you alright, Sammy?" I questioned as I waved my hand in front of his face. He immediately snapped out of it and tilted his head in confusion, causing me to giggle.

"Are you alright? You seemed a little dazed" I repeated.
"Yeah, sorry I was daydreaming" He responded with a nervous chuckle, I raised an eyebrow but nodded and turned back towards the coffee machine.
"How is school, boys?" I asked as I placed a cup of coffee in front of Luna, Ginny and Sam.
"Boring," said Jared.
"Same old," said Paul with a shrug. I look at Jacob, who was pushing the food around on his plate, my eyebrows furrowed in worry.
"Jacob? Are you alright? , Is the food bad? I can make something else?" I questioned in a flustered manner. His eyes widened slightly but I noticed his lips twitching.
"The food is amazing Hermione, I'm just stressed" He mumbled the last bit, but thankfully my enhanced hearing was able to pick it up.
"You're only stressed because Bella won't date you" Paul interrupted with an irritated tone. Jacob shot him a glare, to which Paul simply smirked in response.
"And who is this Bella and why won't she date you?" Luna asked in her usual dreamy tone. Jacob looked at her with slight hesitation before glancing at me, I tilted my head with a small nod which seemed to relax him for some reason.
"Bella Swan, we grew up together until her parents divorced and she moved away. She's back now though and she's dating someone we don't necessarily approve of" he responded with a frustrated sigh. I noticed the other boys were watching him intensely, it seems that he wasn't telling us everything but I respect that people have secrets that they aren't comfortable revealing.
"Swan? As in the sheriff?" Ginny questioned as she sent me a knowing look. That's when it clicked, Bella must have been the girl that we met at the cafe.
"Uh, yeah that's her. Do you know her?" He questioned with a confused frown. I let out a scoff whilst Ginny hummed in agreement.
"I wouldn't say we know her, but she doesn't seem to like us very much. We took a trip to forks a few days ago and met her and her father. She seemed very... Hostile" The boys looked at one another with concerned expressions, though Jake's concern was laced with annoyance.
"Did she say anything to you!?" He asked sharply. The pack was shocked by his reaction, I could only assume it was because he wasn't aiming his anger at us but Bella instead.
"Jake" Sam warned with a deep tone, making the boy's head bow slightly which confirmed he was using his Alpha voice.
"Don't worry Jake, it was her father asking the questions. Though she did ask why we didn't go to school but that was about it. Now, finish your breakfast" and with that, they all nodded and continued eating. It wasn't long until everything was cleared up and we escorted the boys to the garden.
"We have the bricks in the truck, I doubt it would take all day to build the firepit but it depends on how large you want it" I stand beside Sam as I look at the area we decided to build the firepit on.

"Large" Luna responded, gaining everyone's attention. She had a dazed look about her and we knew it was due to her looking into the future slightly.
"Large it is" I announce with a wide smile. Sam looked down at me with a smile of his own before nodding and gesturing for the boys to follow him out front. Once they disappeared, I turned to the girls with a content expression.
"Do you think we should tell them?" Ginny asked after she cast a silencing charm around us.
"They will take it well, more so than the Cullen's" We looked at Luna with confusion, to which she rolled her eyes with a small giggle.
"The Cullen's are the Vampires in forks. They are more... Hesitant about meeting new people but Carlisle, who's the head of the coven will be a lot more open and welcoming to us"
"Do you know how we're going to meet them?" Ginny asked. Luna tilted her head slightly and looked out into the distance, her eyes glazed over.
"They will need extra help with a certain situation involving newborn vampires and a woman called Victoria. I see you've already had a run-in with her" Ginny and I exchanged a knowing look before turning to Luna with a nod.
"Will the pack be safe?" Ginny asked in concern, though we instantly relaxed when Luna nodded with a smile.
"Of course, who would expect Vampires and Shapeshifters to work together? Natural enemies joining forces to protect their land" Before we could respond, our attention was drawn to laughter that was becoming louder, indicating that the boys had returned. Luna cancelled the silencing charm and we smiled brightly when the pack came into view.
As the Quileute boys got started, Ginny and I decided to bring Luna on a trip to Forks. The boys were surprised that we would leave them in our home alone, but I made sure to charm the potion lab and Library shut in case they decided to go exploring.

It was an hour into our trip when we sensed someone close by. There wasn't a feeling of immediate danger but it still put us on edge. Despite Luna not having the same creature senses as us, her animagus form had given her somewhat similar. We were walking through the small town, truth be told, there wasn't much to do here but it was a nice change from home back in England.
"Can you smell that?" Ginny whispered as she sniffed. We nodded our heads but our attention was drawn to Luna, who had a confused but bright smile on her face.
"Luna?"
"He smells lovely" She sighed in awe, I looked at Ginny with a confused frown but she simply shrugged her shoulders. The scent began to get stronger and we turned around, looking for the source.
"Look" Ginny pointed out a familiar figure. There stood Bella swan, standing beside a tall and pale figure with brown hair and golden eyes. Bella was busy chatting away to the male but his attention was elsewhere. It seemed he was searching for something, quite eagerly with a look of urgency and confusion. All of a sudden, he looked in our direction and his eyes widened on one specific person.
"Isn't he handsome?" Luna complimented with a wide smile. The male's lips twitched into a smile but a look of confusion was still apparent on his face. His attention was suddenly caught by a woman with pixy hair, she was pale just like him with identical eyes. She seemed equally confused but more concerned than anything when she looked between him and Bella, who was watching the pair with annoyance. We decided to focus our enhanced hearing on their conversation whilst we looked as if we were window shopping, not wanting to look suspicious.
"Edward, what's happening?" Bella questioned with a huff, her arms crossing over her chest.
"Alice?" The male, who we now know as Edward, looked at the woman, Alice, with a pained look.
"I don't know Edward, I can only see one of their futures" Alice responded with concern and slight frustration. I suddenly felt as if something was poking my mind, I knew the feeling all too well and pushed back against the feeling. A hiss was heard from Edward, who I saw was clutching his head with his eyes squeezed shut.
"Edward?" Bella tried to get his attention but failed as he began to recover from the pain.
"I need to talk to Carlisle, Now" He demanded before grabbing hold of Bellas's hand and disappearing along with Alice.
"He tries to read my thoughts" I stated in a tone of shock, their eyes widened but seemed equally confused.
"He's a wizard?" Ginny questioned but before I could answer, Luna had spoken.
"Vampire, it seems they have special abilities"
"Well, that's made things a whole lot more complicated" Ginny groaned before we decided to head back home. I needed Sam, I wasn't sure why but being away from him for more than a few hours causes some sort of ache in my heart. All I want is to be around him, to seek comfort and affection but there was also a certain fear within me. After what happened with Ron, I was too afraid to open up my heart again, especially with someone I hardly know and so soon. yet, with Sam, I felt like I had no control over my feelings or actions, my heart willingly burst open and it was only wanting to accept one person.

Curiosity Killed The Imp
A/N: On hiatus (higher priority). The story is planned out but I need to do some rewriting for clarity and cohesiviness. Still very interested in the story though. Aeris is a place of endless conflict. Bloody evolution is the way forward, and the closed fist is the path given. Life is a luxury granted only to the strong. In a tiny corner, at the edge of a volcanic land, is born an imp. An imp no different from any other save one thing. An anomaly in its code. A blip in its creation. For unlike other imps, this one was born…curious. Book Cover by Betty Elgyn: https://www.deviantart.com/bettyelgyn

Rifts of War
The visions. It was they that told us about our future. They said that we were the true rulers of the world, the spreaders of light, the guardians of the rightious path. The visions gave us signs of a bright new world, one united under a single banner of light. All those who opposed us suffered and here we stand on the top, watching over the world. We thought it would last forever, but we thought wrong. The visions once again spoke to us and gave us insight, but not to glory or power. They spoke of a terrible fate. An enemy from beyond the realm, one that wishes to destroy us all, one that threatens to bring about the end of the light and usher an age of darkness. As its guardians, we could not allow that. And so we decided to strike. Our armies and our mages gather at the great rift that connects our world. No one knew what we would find. Treasures? Rich land? Savage beasts? There was only one way to find out. A/N: The story starts out pretty quick and I know people will say this is a "military p*rn" but that's only the beginning. I really do have much more planned for this book so I can make a true 'war of the worlds' type of deal. So stick around and enjoy
