《X-Men Alex Summers/Havok imagines》Morning Comfort

It had been a long day yesterday.
For the past 2 years, we've been living in Charles's mansion. He turned it into a school for mutants like us to feel safe after we realised just how many mutants there were out there. Hank, Sean, Alex and I had been helping to recruit of course, and we had just over 80 students now. It was pretty amazing.
Although the mansion was great, and you could practically never get bored, every so often we liked to venture out into the nearby city. It was a good hours drive, but we didn't mind. We usually went to the malls and just got food and sat down for a while.
It was also really good to catch up with the others. We were like the 4 Musketeers, well, if there would be four of them instead of three. Since we were the most experienced and oldest at the school, we spent most of our time coaching the younger kids. Since I was the only girl out of the four of us too, I took it apon myself to become the big sister I had always wanted. This meant we never really got chance to speak to each other. I spoke to Alex practically every day, but we shared the same room, so it was inevitable. This time we spent in the mall was our time to just be kids again, and not parents to 80 kids.
We never usually have any problems at the mall, although this time, that all changed.
I went up to one of the coffee shops to order another drink, whilst the boys were already sat down when I felt something grab my butt. I immediately knew it was somebody I didn't know, because Alex was never like that. Don't get me wrong, he knew how to show affection, and he was VERY good at It, but not like this. Not in such a downgrading way.
I turned around and saw a guy, around a few years older than me, smirking. He starting trying to make conversation with me but honestly I wasn't really paying attention. I just wanted to be out of there. I felt so violated and dirty, but I didn't know why. It wasn't my fault that guy was a creep.
Then, almost like he had sensed something was wrong from across the mall, Alex came running up to us.

He grabbed the guys hand and pulled it away from me, twisting it backwards so that he was almost screaming.
"You lay a hand on her again, and I'll make sure you never feel anything again. Understood." He didn't shout like I thought he would. He hissed it at him, almost like a whisper, teeth clenched. His biceps were getting bigger, like they were ready to strike. Honestly, it was kinda hot. But I knew if we stayed there much longer, Alex would do something he would regret.
By now, a couple of people were starting to turn their heads, and soon, the whole mall would be looking our way, so I just whispered into Alex's ear to let it go, and pulled him by the arm towards Hank and Sean. I didn't even bother to try and explain, they probably could have guessed, I just had to get Alex out of there.
The car ride back was short, and I could tell Alex was trying to focus on not exploding and killing us all, so I just went with the silence. By the time we got back, it was getting late, so we just parted and went to our rooms.
I was expecting Alex to be mad at me, but I didn't know why. I had done nothing wrong. Neither had he. He was just being a good boyfriend, although I could tell he was blaming himself for losing his temper. I needed to tell him not to, but I had learnt to just let his anger pass through. He would talk to me in his own time, and I respected that. So we just went to bed.
It wasn't awkward like I thought it would have been though. He still wrapped his arms around my waist as we slept like he usually did, although it felt a little tighter, like he was scared I would slip away. I wasn't complaining though.
I woke up in the morning when I felt the warmth from around me leave, and the mattress dip slightly. I turned over to see Alex sitting on the edge of the bed, with his head in his hands. I could tell he was thinking about what happened yesterday, and how something much worse could of happened.
I didn't really know what to say, so instead I just sat up and moved towards him. I put my legs on either side of his and pushed my chest against his bare back. My arms were wrapped around him, and I could feel his toned abs. I places a gentle kiss to his shoulder and just rested my chin on it. Because of the slant of the mattress, I was a little taller than him, and we fit together so perfectly.

At first, I was expecting Alex to push me off, or get up and walk away, but he just grabbed my hands and pulled them across his chest, so I was even closer to him.
For a while, we just sat like that, until he let out a sigh.
"I'm sorry." Was all he said.
"What do you have to be sorry for?" I didn't even lift my head up to say this.
"You know what. I saw what that guy was doing and it made me so angry. I could have punched him until he was out cold without even feeling a thing, and that scares me. It scares me because if I could get angry over something stupid and not be able to control myself, I could hurt you. What If I can't stop. What if I..."
"Okay just stop talking. Firstly, you did what you did because that guy was a creep who grabbed my butt and tried to make a move on me. If you hadn't of come over, I would have knocked him out too." Alex let out a small chuckle when I said this. "Secondly, you would never hurt me. I know that, and deep down, you know that too. I've never felt safer than when I'm with you, and if you ever get angry like that, we can deal with it. Together."
I reached for the front of his shoulders and rubbed them. Alex grabbed my thighs, and wrapped them around his torso, massaging them with his thumb. I lifted my head up and placed another kiss on his shoulder before whispering in his ears,
"And anyway, even in the very unlikely event you try and attack me, you know I'll just kick your ass first!" Alex turned his head to the side so I could see his smirk.
"Oh really? You think you'd win in a fight against me?" He had a playful smile on his face, and I knew he was feeling better. This meant I could tease him.
"Yep. Anytime." I knew I couldn't beat him, he was the strongest guy in this house, but I just wanted to see how he'd react.
"Lets test that theory then."
He untagled himself from me and turned around before I could even react. Next thing I know I was being tackled to the bed, Alex on top of me. Both my arms were pinned above my head with his one hand, the other holding himself up. I could have fought back, but honestly I didn't want to. I loved seeing Alex happy again. And I wasn't hating the position we were in either.
"You lose Y/L/N." He lowered himself so he was now resting on his elbow, just inches from my face.
"I didn't lose." I just smirked at him. His eyes were travelling from my eyes to my lips before he leant in, smirking just before our lips touched. His body lowered onto mine as the kiss deepened. My legs wrapped around his torso, and he finally freed my arms so that my hands could entangle in his hair. One of his hands gripped my waist, as the other was next to my head, holding his weight up.
We made out for a good 10 minutes, until I felt Alex pull the famous Summers smirk again, and lift up out of the kiss. He lay on the bed next to me, and pulled me against him so that my head was resting on his chest, and my legs entangled in his. His arms were snaked around me, one on my waist, and one on my thigh, pulling me even closer to him. He planted a kiss to the top of my head and then hid his face in my hair.
"Did I mention how hot you looked yesterday when you were all Havoked up?" He chuckled and then spoke softly into my hair, his voice deep and musky.
"No you didn't, although it would have been interesting to know." He just squeezed my thigh, sending a shiver through my body.
"Next time I will."
"Hmmm." Was the last thing I heard before we both fell back to sleep.
And that is why I'm a morning person.
