《X-Men Alex Summers/Havok imagines》Movie Night

School was pretty intense. We weren't your average school, teaching Maths and English, we were taught how to survive. How to use our powers. How to fight. That meant things could get pretty stressful on a day to day bases. Except for Saturday's. The one day of the week where we didn't have to worry about classes or training. We could just have fun.

Usually on these days, we would play games of cricket or build rafts and have races on the water, but today was different. There had been a thunderstorm from morning until night this Saturday, and with it being January, the air was just too cold, and the river was frozen. So instead, we had a movie night.

The largest room of the house was the living room. It was a tight squeeze fitting nearly 50 of us in the room, but I suppose it kept us warm. The real problem was trying to get 50 kids with completely different personalities to agree on the same film. In the end, Professor X just put all the DVDs into a large bag and picked one out. "The Maze Runner". I'd never seen it before, but I'd heard good things about it.

Because the room was only meant for around half of the people in it, alot of the younger ones had to sit on the floor. We pulled in chairs from the dinning table and classrooms to fit the rest. Being one of the oldest, I got to sit on the sofa, to the left of the television. On either side of me was Hank and Alex. I'd been friends with them for the past few months, and I loved them both, but they couldn't be more different.

Alex likes to piss Hank off for his mutation, and he can get quite offended sometimes, but I know he doesn't mean it. Alex can come across a dick to alot of people, but there's just something about him. It's like this big 'tough guy act' is exactly that; an act. I know he's really a nice guy, and there's been alot of times he's helped me out in the past when I have a problem. So, whenever Hank and Alex piss each other off, I tend to try and stay out of it, or atleast try and defuse the situation. Kind of like a mother controlling her two sons.

The sofa was only meant for two, so it was a squeeze getting us all on. There was just enough space to breathe.

Even though the room was much warmer than outside, it was still pretty chilly. When we sat down, the cold leather gave me a shock, and I shivered, rubbing my arms. When Alex and Hank sat beside me, it began to heat up, but it was still pretty cold. I was planning to go get up and get my hoodie from my dorm, but the movie had just started and the lights were turned off, so I didn't want to cause a scene. Besides, there were now bodies spread out on the floor all around me. There was no chance I would get through and back without breaking a few bones. Besides, somebody might steal my chair and I was not prepared to sit on the floor.

I tried to block the cold out, hoping that eventually my body would miraculously adapt, but it was no use. I always felt the cold. I got it from my dad. After trying to hold it in, I shivered. I looked over to see if anybody noticed, and Hank didn't, but Alex was now staring at me, a smirk on his face.

"You warm enough there?" He chuckled as he spoke.

"Fine. I'm Fine." I tried to not look at him. Although Alex was a nice guy, he still loved to tease people, including me, and I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of admitting I was cold.

"No you're not. I can feel you shivering." Hank shushed us from next to me, causing Alex to send over a glare before returning his gaze to me. This time when he spoke, he spoke with a whisper.

"Do you want my jacket?" He began to lift his jacket off his shoulders when I should my head.

"It's okay, I'm not that cold. Really. I wasn't shivering." Right on cue a cold feeling ran up my spine again, causing me to shake. Alex chucked at this, and without hesitation, lifted his jacket off and placed it over the front of me, so it covered my shoulders and part of my legs which were pulled up to my chest.

"Thanks." I finally looked at Alex. He was wearing a plain white T-shirt with long sleeves. Even though his arms were covered, I could still see his biceps and his chest looked firm and chizzeled through the fabric. I knew Alex worked out, but I had never noticed how perfect his body was until now.

"Don't mention it. After all, I'm a gentleman." He smirked as he turned back to the television. I chuckled. Trust Alex to say something like that.

During the next half an hour, there was no more conversation between anybody in the room, including Alex and I. Until the movie got more interesting.

During one of the scenes in the movie, a big monster thing with these weird claws jumped at the screen. I've never been good with jump scares, so I jolted suddenly and turned my head towards Alex, hiding my face in my hands. He looked at me and laughed when he saw what had happened.

"Never took you as being scared of movies." He smirked at me.

"Oh no, I'm not scared of movies. I'm scared of giant, eight legged monster robots who chase and stab people."

"It's not real y/n." He smiled, but not in a teasing way. It seemed reassuring, like he was really trying to convince me that there wasn't giant, eight legged monster robots who chase and stab people. It was unusual for him.

"Oh I know." I gave him my best 'I'm Fine smile before turning back towards the television. But not for long. Another jump scare soon followed, and I quickly covered my face and turned to Alex again. He let out a small chuckle. I was about to turn back around when he did something I wasn't expecting. He swung his arm around my back and pulled me towards him so that my head was resting on his shoulder. I tried to pull away, thinking this action was only meant to last a few seconds, but he held on tight. So instead, I just turned to face the television again, feeling a little more brave with my head still on his shoulder, and his arm around me.

"You're adorable." He whispered in my ear.

I didn't really know how to respond, so I didn't. Alex was one of my best friends, and that's just always how I'd thought of him. Nothing else. All the other girls chase after him, but he never seems interested in a single one of them. I wasn't really sure whether I thought of Alex in that way. Or maybe I just didn't want to admit that I did.

About an hour into the film, my eyes began to get heavy. After a few minutes, I was out. I don't know how long I had been asleep for when I woke up, but the movie was still playing.

Alex's arm was still firmly around me, and my head was still on his shoulder. I looked down and saw his other hand resting on my lap, his large muscular hands pulling my legs towards him so that my knees were resting on his lap. He was staring at the television. I realised that my head was probably crushing his shoulder.

"Sorry." I muttered before lifting my head off his shoulder and attempting to pull away. But he just pulled me right back against his shoulder and kissed the top of my head.

"Don't be sorry. I'm not." He whispered into my ear as he gently squeezed my leg, sending a shiver through my body.

"Oh, get a room you two. If your going to feel each other up, go to your own dorms." Hank nudged me as he spoke. A few people turned around and smiled when they saw how Alex was holding me.

I was expecting Alex to retaliate with something, or let go of me and brush it off, but instead, he just turned and kissed the top of my head before sending me a smirk.

"Maybe later."
