Sam was coughing violently, lying on the stone-cold floor. The fire was warm around him but the unpleasant smell of smoke filled the air. Sam was gasping for air, trying hard to stay conscious. He could taste smoke in his mouth as he saw raging flames consuming everything in sight. Sam tried to stand, but between the extreme pain and coughing, he fell to the ground again. He looked around, confused. Between fire and smoke, Sam could see Colby's body.
"COLBY!" Sam screamed as loud as he could. His voice was so dry and hoarse that he could hardly recognise it. Colby's body was on fire and all Sam could do was watch on in terror as his best friend of 7 years burned to death right before his eyes.
"NOO!" Sam screamed out in agony as smoke stung his lungs and throat. "COLBY!"
Sam started coughing like crazy! His vision became blurry as he lay on the ground, helpless and drenched in his and Katrina's ice-cold blood. As the fire touched his ankle, he could hear the sound of a siren in the distance. Sam's eyes closed as the scolding fire spread across his body, burning his skin like a gooey marshmallow.

So on this last remaining world they decided to spread their essence, which contained their memories and abilities so that someday they may be reborn. Years passed, before the first of the Five Great Moons had been reborn. He had awoken as a decent of one of the lesser Moons, he was known as King, a divine being task with the protection of the Ark. Now reborn as King, he retains his bodies pervious memories, to discover that the last piece of Blacksun's body is being used as the Ark, to give the knights of this world absurdly strong abilities. Hiding in plain sight as King he now waits for his chance to retake the last piece of BlackSun's body and to awake the rebirth of his fallen brothers.
