《My Punk Lover (Yamaguchi x reader)》Chapter 11: I thought you disliked timid guys
Advertisement
Y/N waited patiently at the cafe Yamaguchi suggested meeting up at with her laptop open to doing their project, which unfortunately for y/n is a big part of her module grade. She wondered why Yamaguchi was kinda mean yesterday.
Was it something she did wrong?
But Yamaguchi did had an aura of intimidation around him, he wore that leather jacket with spikes, he pierced his ears and dyed his hair. He even talked differently, what happened? she thought to herself.
While y/n was lost in her thoughts, Yamaguchi swiftly seated at their table and stared at her.
He was secretly amused at the fact y/n still gets lost in her thoughts like she did when they were in high school. But his face didn't give out a single ounce of amusement but rather a slight annoyance.
He waved his hand at y/n and said, "earth to y/n".
Y/N finally realised she was spacing out and looked slightly embarrassed that she spaced out in front of yamaguchi.
"Hi, glad you could make it" Y/n said with a smile. How could she not smile at yamagucchi.
"Yeah cool, let's get this done with." Yamagucci once again shielded himself with meanness. He couldn't afford his feelings to be trampled again even if it meant being mean to the girl he once loved.
Y/N shifted slightly at the nonchalant ness of yamaguchi. She just brushed off thinking that was just how yamaguchi talked and that he wouldnt be mean to her intently. Both of them continued with the project.
But every once in a while Yamaguchi would make snarky remarks about her, borderline rude accompanied with a smirk and judgemental eyes.
"Geez type any slower will ya"
"Where did you get that grandma scarf y/n chan?"
"Tsk I guess all you do is study, nerd"

" I guess you still talk to yourself, what y/n? still no friends?"
You slam your laptop shut, and stare at Yamaguchi. He raises his eyebrow at your sudden movement.
"Do you hate me?" y/n asked with her eyebrows scrunched up.
"No, I thought you didn't like me" Yamaguchi replies and looks away nonchalantly.
"What? since when did I dislike you," y/n asked taken aback
Yamaguchi brings his eyes back to y/n, his mouth turns into a smirk.
"Didn't you say you don't like timid guys like me?"

The General Core {The Sphere}
The life cycle in the Sphere is on the brink of collapse because one of its elements, the Dungeons, have been exploited too much by the mortals. The group who created the Sphere already tried and failed with several modifications, because the original computer-like dungeon cores are too inflexible to handle changing approaches. So they try another type of solution – taking souls from other worlds to try to find a solution before the Sphere Cycle breaks down completely. The General was one of the best soldiers of his world, rising from the ranks of a private through Officer School to the highest command with honors. But when his world faced a zombie apocalypse, even that was not enough and he had to make the ultimate sacrifice. Now he is asked for a repeat performance of planning and controlling a dungeon and its spawns in a world that he knows nothing about… But what is the Sphere really? What is that [Xenotic conversion] he has to go through to even enter the Sphere? Something is really strange and he will have to find out what is going on to get to his promised rewards – whatever they will be. Being a soul in a dungeon core means that the General has better chances of finding hints to the truth about the sphere – a knowledge that would help him survive. And no, the sphere is NOT a virtual reality – the key to its secrets is the place where it was physically constructed (Author’s hint). This is a dungeon core story - but there are quite a number of things that I will do differently than common to those stories. 1) I will describe the floors when they are explored, NOT when they are build. Yes, that will mean it will take longer to get to those parts - but I think describing floors both when they are build and when they are explored destroys quite a lot of chances for suspense when adventurers enter the dungeon. After all, if you as the reader already know where the traps are, then you can't really be surprised when the surfacers encounter them. 2) How the world works (and how not) is an integral part of the story, so it will be explained I'm a world-builder first and the Sphere is NOT a regular world (as hinted in the synopsis above). Things will work differently than in your 08/15 default dungeon core stories - as the General and Gunny have already learned in the second arc (and more of that is already scheduled for the next weeks (July/Aug 2019) when the Sky Arrows continue to explore and evaluate that strange dungeon) If you don't like these premises, then I'm sure you'll find a lot of other Dungeon Core stories more to your liking. But if you are interested in more than "Dungeon builds another room and corridor in medieval earth" and are not afraid of a longer and slower story, then go on. I have two more stories in the Sphere, although they both have lower priority than this one: Shaleen the Wanderer (Adventurer, NSFW) (currently on hold after some chapters) Info's on the Sphere (System Docu and Short Stories) (irregular updates when needed) Current Status reports have been moved to a new discord server: https://discord.gg/EaHkXCfm9y

The Chronicles of Tyfoon, The Chosen One
For hundreds of years the galaxy was kept in order due to the diligent work of The Council, the number one authority in the whole galaxy, and their appointed guardian of the galaxy, The Chosen One. The Chosen One was the face of order and justice in the galaxy and was the head over all the galactic military forces, answering only to The Council themselves. But after a rebel enemy force known as the Doomaki rise to power, they overtake The Chosen One and his military forces, known as The Peacekeepers. One final battle leaves The Peacekeepers outnumbered and The Chosen One is overtaken and presumed dead. Just when it seems the galaxy might fall to the evil reign of the Doomaki, they disappear without a trace. With the thread of the Doomaki gone, the crippled galaxy begins to try and rebuild and find a new Chosen One to lead them and prepare for whatever new threats may come. Tyfoon, the Chosen One's only child, was born during the battle that his father disappeared in, and the ensuing battle left him without a mother as well, dying soon after childbirth. 18 years from that night pass and Tyfoon is ready to follow in his father's footsteps and serve The Council, perhaps to be The Chosen One when he is ready. But this plan is cut short when the Doomaki resurface and threaten everything dear to Tyfoon. Tyfoon must rise up and finish the task his father failed: defeat the Doomaki once and for all.
