Y/N was shocked, he couldn't have heard her say that right.
"Wait are you talking about when i-"
"Yes, I'm talking about the lunch break before you left school," Yamaguchi said with a slight sadness in his eyes. His sadness accentuated by the rain pouring outside the cafe window.
"Th-a-t was a misunderstanding, Yamaguchi. I swear I didn't mean it I was-" Y/n hurries to clear the misunderstanding but Yamaguchi cuts in with his cynical laughter.
"You were what? Don't bother with it. Maybe if my past self would love to hear your explanation but I don't really care about it now. My past self might get hurt over it but not the me now. I just thought it would be fun to make the ever stoic y/n worried. you never change huh" Yamaguchi says as he starts to get his stuff and walk away.
Y/N felt a gnawing feeling in her heart. She knew that he was still hurt, if he wasn't he wouldn't remember everything she said until now. She had to clear things with the person she loved for the entirety of her high school.
Y/N never chased after anything, she tolerated whatever happened to her and she could never get the courage to confront. But that was the y/n before, she changed unlike what Yamaguchi thinks.
She stood up and ran after Yamaguchi. Y/n looked for him in the street, unaware that she was getting soaked in the rain. She knew that someone as caring as Yamaguchi would be hurt over a few words and she knew more than anyone else that certain words linger in the heart for as long as they live.
Y/N caught up to Yamaguchi who was sitting on his bike. She tucked his leather jacket. Yamaguchi turned to face a soaked y/n and was shocked that she had run after him.

"What are you doing," Yamaguchi asked with annoyance and worry. How could she come in the rain being soaked all like that he thought to himself. Wouldnt she get sick?
Y/n catching her breath said
" I..I-I wanted to make sure you didnt misunderstand anything. I wanted to make sure you knew that i didn't dislike you. Back then i said it because Genevia wanted to bully you so i... i know its dumb but i just said that so she wouldn't try to bully you. I'm sorry you heard that but it was all a misunderstanding..."
"How could anyone dislike you, i mean like you're the most caring, kind, and amazing person I've ever met. I -I would..could never hate you. You are really one of the most amazing person i've met. well i know amazing is such a vague and overused word, i mean I'm sorry my vocabulary is limited. I mean like I didn't really read alot of books but yo-" Y/n starts rambling off after she felt slightly embarrassed after confessing that Yamaguchi is an amazing person.
Yamaguchi holds y/n's shoulder and shakes her to stop rambling. "Y/n you're gonna catch a cold if you're gonna ramble about your limited vocabulary, here wear this helmet let me give you a ride to my house, I'll drop you off when the rain stops," Yamaguchi says with concern.
"Oh yeah sure that sounds good," Y/n says with a straight face even though her heart beats a thousand times faster. But y/n wasn't the only one with a heart beating so fast. Without the rain, she would have found out how much of a blushing mess Yamaguchi is. He couldn't believe that y/n thought of her so highly and he couldn't believe that she would run in the rain for him.

Has anyone had the experience of living the life of a villain? Were they truly the villains we were led to believe they were? --------------------------------- Follow Andy's journey as he is transmigrated to the world of Cultivation. In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
