once we finished eating, we paid and left the restaurant. "what 'cha think?" cameron opened my car door and waited till i was inside to close it.

"the drinks were nice. but the champagne was a little flat," i shrug and turn on the air in his car. "i have a question." he hummed and looked to the cars screen as he backed out. "what is so special about me?" hating how i put my question, i instantly began to stumble over my words, trying to find the right way to put it.

"that," cameron chuckled as he pulled out into on coming traffic. thinking over it, i'm literally no different than any other girl, because in all honesty i'm even more boring than most. "so what you drink a little too much or smoke a little too much weed. which in our case isn't even true. and so what you are a little odd than what most people are use to, but for me, you are a perfect fit." he paused for a minute but let out a little chuckle straight after. "and i think you see me for me, not fitz." the street lights illuminated the now dark roads, guiding us our way to where ever cam was taking us.

"i didn't even know there was a different side of you?" i spoke softly. cameron looked over to me and shook his head.

"there isn't. its just that people who watch my videos have a different outlook on who i really am. i guess some people can call it like a stereotype. they see my videos and think that i'm just a funny guy that has no heart or some shit. or they start to perceive this weird own version on me that cares too much. hence, why dating a fan is weird." cam explains as we pull into a school parking lot. "I know this seems weird, but... yeah." he climbs out of the car and comes around to open my door.

we stepped into the playground bark dust, examining the play structure in front of us. "wait here," he ran off to the car. sitting on a swing, i held on until he came back. "shit." he cursed out. he was struggling to take a lawn chair out of it's bag. "m'lady." standing to only sit again, i heard my knees crack and my beck become more tense.

"so, what are we g-doing here?" i inquire as i sit beside him in a red chair he put out.

"there is a meteor shower tonight. they said it is supposed to be 45 an hour." he was such a kid at heart sometimes. before our camping trip i hadn't even known he liked the stars, let alone the night at all.

when i was growing up, my parents never were really big on these types of things, they were more focused on things they could do with three kids at once that would keep them all satisfied. however, they were never really good at doing that. plus, when my dad cheated on my mom and they both found out he was the father of this other woman's child, things were never the same in our household. he had agreed to take his son for the weekends or days that his son just wanted to see him, but after a while he stopped visiting. i was three at the time and was the youngest out of my other two siblings that were at home. needless to say, my parents saw how much they mattered to each other and they worked through everything within a span of weeks.

"i've never seen a shooting star before." biting at the flesh inside of my mouth, i felt blood begin to drain out again. "it wasn't a personal choice either, it was the fact that i never really had the chance to find a love for outdoors, but i somehow feel like you are going to change that." my smile widened as cam intertwined our fingers. he looked down to our hands and then looked back to me. "i know how you were saying you told the stars about me, but did you really? or was that only to make the scene more romantic."

"i did, actually. now that i think about it, its a little weird." inspecting him, i watched as he soon grew nervous. "i did it more than once as well."

"its not weird, cam. i think it is a peaceful way of getting out those types of emotions. i mean, we both know none of the boys would listen," i giggled out in the most unattractive way. woah, i'm so not proud of myself. "don't even ask what that was, because i have no clue either." cam just snorted in response as he stared up to the starry night. "oh! i saw one ! cameron, i really saw one!" my first shooting star.

"make a wish, audrey," he pipped up and watched me close my eyes and make a wish.

'to be with you forever.'

"what did you wish for?" shaking my head, i dismiss his question, knowing it won't come true if i tell anyone about it.

"that is top secret info, mr. fitz." i poke his shoulder and watch his expression change to one that was more upset from the lack of knowledge. to be frank, i was more interested with the way the other was so invested into the shooting stars above him. like i have said a million times, watching people be so passionate and focused on something they actually are serious about is so intriguing to me. that is just my personal kink. laughing to myself, i heard the other shift in his chair.

"isn't it beautiful?" the way he spoke it was almost like he was so deep in thought that no one could pull him out of it. "tonight has just been perfect so far," he was so entranced with this whole date that it made me upset with myself for almost bailing on him earlier. plus, i probably would have barricaded myself in my room for a couple days and fall back into my natural state of mind.

"i'm glad i came," i confess.
