"Sweetheart! It's so good to see you again!" She says motioning for me to hug her.

I ignore it and glare at her.

"Let Isen go."

"I will only after you get situated and say your goodbyes. I wouldn't want that relationship to go to an end without even breaking up."

I roll my eyes.

"Just mine as well kill me mom."

She pouts.

"Why do you say that dear?"

"I don't know. Just image someone you love, and you have to say goodbye to them, well knowing you will never see them again. So instead of being happy I have to stick with you and... Akita."

"Oh stuff it ginger."

He makes a sad face and I roll my eyes.

"I will go put my stuff in my room." I say walking towards her.

"How John?"

She asks just as I am passing her. I stop walking.

"Why do you even care?" I say, continuing on my way.

But what I didn't see was the look she made.

Nor did I here the words that followed.

"Because he's my baby boy."

I quickly unpack my suitcase and look for my mom. I find Horhe instead.

"You mom sent me to take you to Isen."

"Thank you Horhe."

We start to walk.

"You know she is only trying to do what's best for you."

"Yeah, like kidnapping my boyfriend and forcing me to join her. Yep totally a good supportive mother."

"Just try and get along with her."

"Whatever."

We walk into the training room with Mom waiting for us.

"Where is Isen." I ask immediately.

"He's coming the guards are taking their time."

I turn to the sound of Akitas voice.

"What?"

He walks out, followed by two big guys carrying a limp Isen.

Rages costumes me.

"The fuck did you do to him?!"

"He passed out from hanging there that whole time so sorry if he is not aware right now."

The drop him on the floor and I run over to him.

There was bruises everywhere and he was swollen. I could remember what my mom used to tell me when I was training.

"Don't leave any scars."

There was not a single scratch on him, yet he was covered in injuries.

"My god what did they do to you."

His eyes squinted open.

"(Y/N)?" He whispered.

"Yes it's me. I've come to get you out."

He smiles.

"You are so pretty."

I grab his hand.

I look in his eyes and he relaxes his face about to fall back asleep.

"I just want to say I love you, and it was fun."

"Your time is running out." Mom said.

I could hear Akita gag at our interaction.

But I didn't care. I ignored them and let my eyes tear up.

"I left you a letter on your bed. When you get back make sure you read it."

"What-" Isen says fully waking up.

"And say hi to John for me."

"Say hi to me yourself."

I turn to see John, Arlo, Remi, Blyke, and Seraphina walk through the broken wall like badasses. John being in the center.

All their abilities were activated.

"John?" Mom says her voice cracking a little, no one could tell, but she had slight tears in her eyes.

He glared at her.

"Ew it's you."

Guards seemed to file in, and they all separated, fighting a few guards at once.

Let's just say the guards were getting their asses kicked.

Isen sits up but Akita shows up in a split second, putting his hand on his shoulder.

He whispers something in his ear and Isen expression darkens.

Akita stands up laughing.

"Hasta La Vista Love." He says doing a little salute, and in a second, he was gone.

I help Isen up and he was holding his side. I activated my ability to see what pain he was experiencing and he had 3 broken ribs and bruises all over.

"We need to get you help."

"No I'm fine- let's get go-"

He hunches over and starts to cough up blood.

"Isen!"

He tried to straighten up, but he clearly wasn't ok. There was even blood dripping down his face.

I see as the guards soon overwhelmed my friends. John and Mom where facing off.

"You bitch! Are you trying to tell me that you still live me, after you left and took my sister with you?! Are you fucking loony?!"

"John please! I just wanted to protect you and your father!"

"Just leave us alone!" He says attempting to punch her.

That's when I saw her ability.

Energy manipulation.

She was the root of my strongest ability.

I was the only one who could stop her.

"Remi!"

In a flash the pink head was next to me.

"What. Hold onto Isen. I have something I need to do."

"Yes but-"

Before she could finish her sentence, I leaped towards Mom and punched her in the face with an energy ball.

She spits out blood and sips it away.

"Using my own move against me huh."

"John get back "

"Hell-"

I turn my head and give him a look that says listen to me.

"Get back and help the others."

He gives you a concerned look but listens. You turn back to your mother and glare at her.

"Honey let's talk about this."

I concentrate on the energy around me and draw it towards me.

"All I wanted was for what's best sweat heart. Please forgive me."

She says this with such a pleading look on her face.

All I could think of was what disgust this woman was giving me.

I make an energy whip in my hand and grab onto her wrist pulling her towards me.

I give her a punch right to the face. One that would make sure she didn't get back up.

The energy I used behind that punch caused the building to start to collapse

"Aw shit." I say looking back at all my friends.

I open a portal.

"Goodbye guys." I say looking at John, Remi, Blyke, Arlo, and Seraphina. John had tears in his eyes.

"(Y/N) dont-"

I shove them through the portal.

I look at Isen and my tears start to fall.

"Go read my note." I say and push him through.

"(Y/N). Don't do this to yourself, you know the tolls." Horhe says.

"Thank you for raising me Horhe."

He pats my head.

"Goodbye my pumpkin."

I open the portal beneath him and he disappears.

"I have so little energy left. At least I saved them.

"(Y/N)!" I look and see Akita.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to save you."

"No!"

With the last of my strength I open another portal and tried to push Akita through. But he grabbed my hand and pulled me along with him.

As we fell on the ground out side of the crumbling building, Akita caught my limp body.

"Wait, what- no wait you didnt- you can't die on me!" He says, tears spilling everywhere.

I try to smile at him but I guess it doesn't work out. As my energy level reaches a 0.3% I muster out two words.

"I... Won."

And with that, my energy drained, and the darkness I was trying so hard to fight, instead consumed me.
