Long story short I moved out of the dorm into my own apartment. Me and Maddie didn't speak for a year until she contacted me late that night. Stalking her Instagram she had a girlfriend now and got a cute cat that she always wanted but couldn't because of the dorm policies. In that same year Maddie came out as bisexual. And for some reason I felt like a bad friend. We still followed each other on social media. We would wish each other happy birthday, merry Christmas and all of that but didn't really talk more. Just small conversations. As for Tom, I loved him more than anything, during summer we travels back to London to meet his mother. And the fiasco with seeing his ex fiancé was another story. He transferred from teaching in the college to work at a law firm. I interned at a news paper company. And living alone. There were several pregnancy scares but gladly they were just scares. As for my mom and Chris they got married officially, still hadn't told her about him. But I soon stopped going to family functions when he was present. My dad, had two kids with his knee wife,kinda happy non of them were daughters. We had a better relationship, it wasn't the best but it was something. I was a junior in college and was gonna be graduating next year. Scary how wierd time flies and you meet different people. People come and people go and I was happy with all the people I had in my life.

Last poem draft

With no doubt we are cursed with our parents and their never ending demons.

That they seem to pass to us, each and every one of them. They teach us what love is, saying it should feel a certain way. The way they give it to us.

But when the sun sets and life happens, love is only what you can feel, it's only what you can experience. And when dawn has come you can sit down with that one you truly love and decide if they did in-fact love you the way they should have.
