"Amy, where does this go?" Lia asked me dangling my shoes in her hands.

I glared at her in answer. She gave me a smug look and winked at me dropping her act of innocence.

These three are ruining my room for me.

Yesterday, after making me forcefully act like Luke's potential girlfriend, today morning Luke, Lia and Daniel barged into my house and started packing my things, much to Aaron's horror.

They are already halfway through and I can not bloody utter a word right now because Aaron will know and then, Lia will tell him my dirty little secret.

"Why do I have such difficult friends in my life!" I groaned.

"Don't worry, Amy. Think of this like a pre-packing for shifting to your real bedroom", Luke patted my back and chuckled.

"Where is Aaron by the way?" Daniel asked.

"Oh, I checked. He hasn't stepped a foot outside his study since after he saw us in the morning", Lia laughed.

"This is not funny! He must have felt so heartbroken last night", I told them.

"Aww! Look at you so worried for your husband", Lia cooed.

I glared at her, "Wait until it is your turn. I will take my revenge."

"Never gonna happen. God hasn't made a man in the world who can handle me", Lia shook her head.

"I second that. Only a mad man can dream about trying to handle this crazy woman, let alone fall for her", Daniel nodded.

She shot him a venomous glare and turned to look at me and Luke, "You both need to work a little on your acting skills though. When you both look at each other, Aaron should see love and lust in your eyes."

I looked at her as if she had grown two heads, "That's impossible."

She frowned and said, "Of course not."

Luke asked her, "What?"

She sighed and rolled her eyes and said, "It is simple. You think as if you are talking to Aaron and you imagine her to be Connor. The love will come up on its own."

"I don't think you can get anymore crazier", I just shook my head, "I am gonna go check on, Aaron."

"No!" they said in unison.

"He hasn't eaten anything since last night, guys. He has just recovered from the gunshot. He has to take his medicines", I told then.

"Fine! But, you are not going", Lia told me.

"Lia, please", I told her.

She turned to Daniel and said, "You go and give him the food and make sure he has his medicines. Also, try and get some information on what is going on in his head."

"I have a better idea. Let us both go and you can tell him all about how you want to thank him since Amy is very happy with the divorce and then, we can ask him to come and spend some time with us as we take a break from packing", Daniel told Lia.

"Marvellous! Luke, you and Amy come out after sometime and put on a movie as we get Aaron. Then, you flirt with her while watching the movie", Lia told Luke.

"Let's go", Lia said and pulled me with her to the kitchen.

I quickly placed some food and juice on a tray and handed it to Lia, "Make sure he eats everything and takes his medicine."

"I will. Don't worry", she smiled and I sighed as they disappeared into Aaron's study.

I went to the living room and gave Luke a defeated look.

"Come on, Amy. Cheer up", Luke gave me a hug.

"I don't know, Luke. He is so sad. He looked broken last night and lifeless today morning. What if he thinks I actually moved on?" I told him hugging him back.

"It will all be okay. Think of the time you cried when he went in with Ruby or Jasmine. That will make you feel better about this", he chuckled still hugging me.

"It doesn't affect me anymore after knowing the truth", I said pulling apart.

"Smile, Amy otherwise Lia will kill you", Luke joked, ruffling my hair and I flashed him a fake smile making him laugh.

"Also, how do you bear Lia and Daniel in the same room?" he asked me making me laugh my ass off.

"We are still trying to figure that out", I told him laughing.

"I mean they can literally fight over anything in this world", Luke said and I laughed again.

Just then the door opened and Lia and Daniel walked in with Aaron tailing behind. He looked at me as my eyes fell on him.

His smile faltered for a split second before he smiled even more brighter than before. If this was a few months ago, I would have probably fell for the happy facade he has put on. But, now, I can tell that he is dying inside. He had a smile on his face but, his eyes were dead. It looked has if he had suddenly aged ten years.

I am unable to understand how this plan of Lia's is even working. I mean where is the Aaron who can read my mind like an open book? Maybe Lia is right. He can't know because I am not being Amy. I am being Lia. I am talking and acting like her.

"So, what do you wanna watch, Amy?" Luke asked me with a sugar coated voice making me look at him.

"Uh...I..whatever you choose", I told him with a small smile.

"Aaron decided to join us so, I can make popcorn for five", Daniel told everyone.

Aaron just avoided looking at me and sat on the couch silently.

He looked so sad that it broke my heart. I couldn't take it anymore. I had to tell him.

"Aar-"

"Amy, I think you should help me get the blankets", Lia cut me off and pulled me with her.

I scowled at her as we reached my room. There was no point of telling her anything. She did it on purpose.

I shook my head and removed a few blankets from the cupboard.

"How many are they?" she asked me.

"Five", I told her.

"Put two back", she told me.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Just do it", she rolled her eyes.

I rolled my eyes and put two back. We walked out of the room and she said, "You go ahead. I'll join you in the living room."

She smiled at me and I looked at her with suspicion.

Nonetheless, I shook my head and went outside.

Soon we all settle down in the living room and the movie started.

It was a funny movie and everyone was enjoying themselves except Aaron and I. There were times in the movie when I would just space out and start laughing only because everyone else was without even knowing what was going on.

Suddenly it was getting very cold, so I grabbed a blanket and then Luke followed.

"Hey! Leave it!" Lia yelled.

"I grabbed it first!" Daniel yelled.

"I am cold!" Lia yelled pulling the third blanket from one end.

"So am I", Daniel yelled.

Luke paused the movie and said, "What's the issue?"

Lia said, "There is only one more blanket and we are both cold."

I opened my mouth to speak but Luke beat me to it, "You both are so childish. Amy, give your blanket to Lia. You and I can share one."

My eyes widened and I was about to suggest that I can get another one but, Lia beat me to it, "Oh, that's a good idea. Give it to me Amy."

She looked at me innocently and I said, "I can get ano-"

Luke rolled his eyes, "There's no need for that. We can share one. Come here."

Luke pulled my hand towards himself and made me sit next to him covering me with his blanket and Lia pulled the other one. I jabbed my elbow into Luke as I finally understood what was going on.

Luke gulped down his pain and restarted the movie. They all started laughing as a funny scene followed. To Aaron, it looked like they were laughing at the scene but, I knew very well that they were celebrating the success of their plan and laughing on Aaron's predicament.

Stupid People!

I secretly looked at Aaron whose fist was clenched so hard that his knuckles shown white. He was still smiling at the television but, I could tell that his eyes were hiding anger. He wanted to break things but, he was controlling himself.

I would be lying though if I say that I am not enjoying Aaron's reaction a little. It is funny to see him so jealous. I have never seen him so jealous except when I am with Luke. I think he has always been the man who has faith in his woman. But, I don't know where all that trust goes when it comes to Luke. I guess I should be a little thankful to Luke too because if not for him, I would have never known that Aaron can be jealous too.

Luke bend down and whispered in my ear, "Your husband is so jealous that I think I should call Connor and tell him to forget the wedding and prepare for my funeral."

That made me double over laughing.

I pursed my lips together as everyone looked at me. Turns out that I laughed at a very wrong time because it was a serious scene.

"Sorry, I just...." I bit my lip to stop myself from laughing more as Lia and Daniel were smirking at me and Aaron was fuming.

We shifted our attention back to the film and for the rest of the movie Luke kept whispering in my ear, kissing me on the cheek and sometimes also tickled me. He is taking this fake boyfriend role too seriously. Additionally, the room was suspicious too cold making me and Luke snuggle into each other. All the while, Aaron's reaction was making me laugh even more.

Maybe Lia's plan is not that bad after all.

Before we knew it, the movie ended and we all stretched for a bit.

I went to check the thermostat as it was really cold. I realised what Lia had done and rolled my eyes. She had deliberately reduced the temperature to make it so cold during the movie. I raised the temperature to normal.

"Where are you going?" Daniel asked Aaron who had gotten up when I went back.

"I have a meeting scheduled", he said.

"Come on, Aaron. Can you not skip it for today?" Lia asked.

"Yes, Aaron. Come on, man. After all it is Amy's last day in the house", Daniel told him with innocence.

Aaron gulped and clenched his fist, "I..my work is important."

Just then his phone rang and Aaron pulled it outside.

He picked it up and placed it on his ear, "Yes, Peter. I am joining in two minutes."

He waited for Peter to reply and then said, "What? Cancelled? So suddenly? But, why?"

I looked at Lia and she winked at me with a sly smile. I closed my eyes and shook my head smiling lightly.

Aaron waited for Peter's reply with a frown and said, "Okay. Reschedule it."

He hanged up and Lia said, "See, looks like the universe wants you to spend time with us."

Aaron just gave her a small smile and took his seat again.

"So what's next?" I asked them.

"Uh, I don't wanna go back to packing", Daniel groaned.

"Neither do I", Luke agreed.

"You have too many things, Amy. It will be difficult to move with all of them. I think you should just give some of them to me", Lia told me.

Daniel frowned at her and asked, "Why would she give her stuff to you? She is just moving houses. It can't be that difficult. Don't make silly excuses. Just say it if you want some of her things."

Lia rolled her eyes and told him, "I don't want her things, idiot. I am being realistic. Tell me, how will she move so much stuff around by herself when she is alone in California?"

"California?!" Aaron's head snapped in my direction and he looked at me with shock.

"Yes, she is moving to San Fransisco soon. Amy, you didn't tell him?" Lia asked me with fake surprise.

I looked at Aaron and said, "Sorry, I forgot to tell you. I had got a job offer sometime ago. I was not going to consider it initially since I was going to work at Kingston Designs but, last night after I decided to resign, Luke convinced me to take it up. So, yes, I'll be moving to California soon."

"You were going to move across the country without telling me and that's your excuse?! You forgot?" Aaron yelled with disbelief.

"Stop being so harsh on her, brother. She got a new job. She is starting a new life. We should be congratulating her and wishing the best for her", Daniel rolled his eyes at Aaron and came to hug me.

"Congratulations, Amy!" he hugged me tightly and whispered, "He is going to go insane after this, Amy. Keep it up."

Daniel pulled away and said, "I am so happy for you, Amy. Don't forget us, okay? Keep in touch. You are going to have the time of your life there. San Francisco is beautiful. Also, don't stay alone for too long. Go out and meet new people. You know what I mean, right?"

"She is not going to be alone. I will be there to take care of her. I am planning to move soon too. I have family there", Luke told him and smiled at me.

Daniel smiled at him, "Oh, that would be awesome! Then, we shouldn't be worried about her. I know you will take good care of our Amy."

I swear these three should audition for movies. The level of acting they can do will bring tears to the eyes of the audience. They might even bag an Oscar.

Luke nodded and Daniel hugged him.

"I guess, I'll move there too then. If both my besties are going to be there, what will I do alone here?" Lia told us with a smile.

"Really?" Luke asked her.

"Yes, of course. Unless you don't want me to", Lia asked him suggestively and Luke pretended to blush.

Telling you, the Oscar is coming home.

Do you know what the worst part is? That even though, I am feeling bad about this, I can't stop bloody smiling because of how funny this is. Obviously, to Aaron, it looks like I am euphoric about all of this.

I could feel Aaron's eyes on me. But, I didn't look at him. If I look at him right now, he will probably read my eyes. I know he was probably shooting daggers at me right now. I mentally apologised to him as I put up a smile.

Sorry, Aaron. I don't have a choice either. Lia will kill me if you find out. Just until tomorrow night.

"So, back to packing?" Lia asked us.

"Yeah, I guess. Aaron, you can help us too, right? Since your meeting got cancelled, you should have some free time", Daniel told him.

Aaron just curtly nodded his eyes were still stuck on me.

"Let's go", I said as I couldn't take it anymore.

"Yes, let's go. We don't want to cause any delays to her plans of moving", Aaron gritted and gave his sweetest fake smile.

I responded with an equally happy smile.

Oh god, Aaron! For being such a smart person, you are so stupid.

The rest of the afternoon passed by with us packing my stuff and Luke flirting with me every now and then. Of course, with Lia and Daniel being there we did have some random fights. The best part was Aaron's reaction to everything that was happening. He was jealous as fuck and ready to explode. I am still unable to understand how is he controlling himself right now.

"Amy, that is such a lovely black dress", Lia said as she packed it in the bag.

"Yeah, I bought it from a sale last year", I told her.

"You should definitely take this to San Francisco", Luke told me.

"Really? Why?" I asked.

"I think you will look hot in this little black dress", he bent down and whispered in my ear, "and now, Aaron will die out of jealousy as his imagination runs wild."

That made me blush and I pushed him away.

"Excuse me, I need to make a call", Aaron said and left before anyone could say a word.

The minute we heard a door slam shut outside, we burst out laughing.We covered our mouths to muffle the voices but, didn't stop laughing for awhile.

"Oh god!" Daniel breathed, "You should have seen his face when Luke....said you would look hot."

"He is going to burn to ashes", Lia laughed.

"Stop it! It is not funny. He is probably thinking the worst of me right now", I said still chuckling a little.

"Come on, I know you are enjoying this too", Lia smiled at me.

"My poor love", I said pouting at the door.

"So, what's the next one? We have dinner and then continue tomorrow?" Luke asked Lia.

"Yup. That's it", Lia nodded.

"Actually", Daniel told us, "Mom wants us to do something."

"Mom? You told her?" I asked him.

"I had actually called her to tell them about this whole divorce thing that Aaron has done. But, then when I told her about our plan, she not only encouraged me but also, told me to get you all to do something."

"What is it?" I asked with a frown.

When Daniel completed, I instantly said, "No."

"Amy,-"

"No, Daniel. I am not doing this", I told him sternly.

Luke started, "Amy-"

"No. There is no way in the world I am doing this. I have been listening to everything you all told me to do because that was a joke but, this is serious. I am not doing this."

"Amy, he did it too", Lia reasoned.

"Two wrongs don't make a right, Lia!" I told her angrily.

Daniel sighed, "I knew this would happen. So..", he handed his phone to me.

I looked at the phone. He had called mom.

I took the phone and put it on my ear, "Hello?"

"Hey, Amy", mom said on the other end.

"Hey, mom. Listen, I am sorry but, I can't do what you have asked for", I told her up straight without beating about the bush.

Mom let out a deep breath, "Amy, sweetheart, I know you are really kind and you have forgiven Aaron. But, like I said as your mother, I haven't forgiven him yet. I know that this is wrong and it will probably anger him to no bounds but, he needs to know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of such harsh actions. He needs to know how difficult it becomes for someone to love again when the person you love does such things to you."

"But, mom, what if he never trusts me again after this? What if it hurts him so much that he will hate me for it?" I told her.

"Do you hate him for it? No, right? Because you understood him. He will understand it too. I know my son. He will be angry tonight and even cry. But, he will never think about it once the truth is out and not because your friend is gay but, because he trusts you. He will know that he deserves this punishment", mom explained.

"I am scared. What if he thinks that I am not worth it anymore or if I lose his trust forever?" I told her as a tear slipped my eye.

"Are you going to do anything wrong? No, right? Then, there is no question of you losing his trust and if he thinks you are not worth it because of this one thing, then he is not worth it either because you trusted him too. Listen, my child. If he led you to believe things and yet, you take his word for it when he says that he didn't do it, he has to do so too. There is no way around it. He has to believe you else he isn't worth your love", mom told me sternly.

"Does dad know about this?" I asked her.

"I told him and he suggested that you can have your own party while Aaron sulks outside", mom told me and I laughed.

"Trust me, child. Go ahead with this", she told me and I nodded.

I hanged up and gave the phone back to Daniel.

"So?" Lia asked me with raised eyebrows.

"I guess this is the last test that Aaron has to pass", I shrugged.

As the night approached, I grew more and more nervous about this. We all had dinner with Lia and Daniel talking to Luke most of the time as I was lost in my own thoughts. I know that I am going ahead with this only because mom said so. She may not be related to me but, she is my mother in every sense of it. She has loved me as much as she loved Daniel and Aaron. If she and dad think that I should give Aaron a taste of his own medicine, than so be it.

I took a deep breath as the dinner ended and it was getting late in the night.

"So, I'll call it a day then", Daniel got up first.

"Yeah, me too. I have to go to the hospital early tomorrow morning", Lia got up.

"Bye, Amy. I'll come visit you at Luke's place before you leave. Text me about when you are going", Daniel told me and hugged me.

"Bye", I smiled at him.

"Bye, babe", Lia hugged me next.
