《A Bromance to Remember》No more sad

George woke up to the sound of his front door opening. Naturally, he panicked and hid.
Although he was groggy and barely awake, he managed to drag himself over to his closet. He was panicking, he was being robbed.
He didn't have much, but he knew that he considered his life to be pretty valuable. After a few moments, George heard a voice.
"George?" It called. This only heightened George's fear of the voice. He scrunched up further into the back of the closet. He closed his eyes and tried to steady his breathing. The voice continued to call out to him. Footsteps got closer and closer to his room. At this point, all attempts at slowing his breathing were failing. He was basically hyperventilating. And the more that George thought about the fact that he needed to be quiet, the more anxious he became. Eventually, the closet door opened and George let out a bloodcurdling scream.
He knew whoever had opened the closet could see him, so he figured all of his neighbors may as well know he was about to be murdered.
"George?"
There was that voice again. But this time, it was less muffled and more clear. It almost sounded familiar. George cracked open his eyes , and saw Dream staring down at him with a look of shock. George closed his eyes and began to sob. He heard Sapnap enter the room, but he didn't care. He felt broken.
Dream reaches into the back of the closet and locked his arms around the small ball of George. He pulled him out, sat on the ground, and pulled him into his lap.
"Shh...shhh...it's okay Georgie," Dream muttered. George had latched himself onto Dream and continued to sob. Sapnap sat on George's bed and just watched the interaction of the other two. After a few more minutes, George's grip on Dream loosened, and his sobs turned into more even breathes.

He pulled his face from Dream's shoulder and looked up at his face. His voice scratchy and almost gone, he said, "Would you like some tea?"
Dream laughed a little at this. Sapnap just nodded. George stood and made his way to the kitchen. He wasn't the best at making tea, but it always brought up good memories with his mom. Memories he would never forget.
It was bittersweet thinking about the good memories. Sure, it made him feel better, but he still missed his mom.
After a few minutes, the tea was ready. He poured small cups for Dream and Sapnap since he was unsure if they would like it. Then, he fixed a large cup for himself.
Once the three had sat down with their tea, George croaked out, "So you're here."
Dream wheezed and Sapnap giggled. This wasn't quite the happy reunion they were expecting, but it was wholesome all the same.
"Yeah, we're here," said Dream. "We wanted to surprise you, but it looks like we scared you more than anything."
George laughed this time, and he realized it was the first time he had laughed in weeks except for when he had been recording with the boys.
"Well, I'm really glad you guys are here. I needed this. I know we saw each other only a few weeks ago, but it felt like a lifetime."
The three sat and made small talk as they sipped their tea. To George, even the presence of the other two seemed to calm his emotions some. He just wished that it would never end.
"Well, do you two want to get settled?" George asked. "It's getting pretty late and I would imagine your exhausted from traveling all day."
Dream and Sapnap both nodded quickly. After a few minutes of moving things around, George's mattress was crammed into his small living room. Sapnap took the couch, and Dream and George took the mattress. As soon as George's head hit the pillow, he passed out.
