《A Bromance to Remember》Time

George had no idea what day it was, what time. He had not left his bedroom since the call with Dream. Since then, a wave of loneliness had swept over him.

He tried to tell himself that Dream and Sapnap had just been busy, since they hadn't called or texted.

George still had not gotten over his mom. It had been a while since he had eaten, but he didn't feel hungry. It was like part of him was gone, and his body didn't know how to function without it.

George spent most of his time curled up in his bed thinking or restlessly sleeping. That was the only time he could relax, was when he was asleep. He was pained with guilt in everything he did. Had he not gone to America, his friends would have never gotten in the crash, Monica would have never almost died, and his mom might still be here.

His mom had died to a heart attack, but George still felt like he could have prevented it. He had left her alone for a few weeks and had given her the stress of watching over Cat.

George tossed and turned in his bed. He felt gross, he hadn't showered in a few days or washed his sheets since he had gotten back. After a few moments, he once again slipped into a light sleep.

"They have snacks?" Sapnap asked as they buckled their seatbelts. Dream laughed. "Of course, Sap. What do you think this is, a four star private jet? Nope, Jimmy insisted that we should have the best of the best."

The next few hours were spent with the boys playing on their phones, eating snacks, and taking a few small naps.

"This is your Capitan speaking. Landing in 15 minutes."

"You have his address, right?" Sapnap asked Dream, who had just woke up from his third and final nap.

"Of course I do. I got it awhile back when I sent him some merch."

Finally, the jet landed. A black SUV was waiting for them. They loaded up into the car, and began the journey towards George's apartment.

25 minutes later, they were standing on the sidewalk in front of a tall building.

"I guess we're here," said Dream, staring up at the tall building in front of him.

"I guess so," said Sapnap, who was already making his way towards the elevator. George's apartment was on the third floor, so the ride up was short.

When they were in front of his apartment, Dream knocked. There was no reply. After a few more moments, he knocked again. Still no reply. Finally, Sapnap got impatient and turned the doorknob. Sure enough, it was unlocked. Dream looked around. The small apartment looked untouched, minus the macaroni noodles stuck to the living room floor.

"George?" Dream called out. No reply.

"George?"
