《A Bromance to Remember》Sweet Dreams

"Dream."
Dream tried to open his eyes, but he couldn't move. The voices... they sounded like they were distant, almost like he was hearing them from underwater.
Then he remembered.
The crash.
Am I... dead? He thought to himself. He decided the best way to find out was to listen to the voices.
"Dream, it said. It's going to be okay. You are going to be okay."
That's... George, Dream thought.
He's okay. But what about Sapnap? I need to figure out how to wake up.
Dream sat there, in his subconscious, trying to come up with a plan to wake up.
"He's... muttering something," George said, watching Dream closely.
Sapnap looked over, and didn't see Dream's lips moving. "George, you should probably sleep for a bit. I'll watch him until I get tired, then I'll wake you up, okay?"
George really was tired. He hadn't slept well the past few nights and he had a long day. "Okay," George said, leaning back in the uncomfortable chair. I'm probably not going to fall asleep, George thought. But as soon as he shut his eyes, he was out.
Sapnap pulled out his phone and opened up Twitter. Since the accident, he hadn't really been on his phone since he had a mild concussion. But since he was cleared by his doctor, he decided he needed to see what had happened since the wreck.
Neither George nor Sapnap had said anything about what had happened, so naturally, their fans were worried. He wanted to say something, just so the fans knew he was okay, but also didn't want to mention the wreck until Dream and George could also make that same announcement.
He smiled to himself as all of the sweet replies came in. He was so glad he had such a loving fan base.

After about an hour of sitting around, George woke up.
"Hey George. Are you hungry?" Sap asked.
"Yeah."
"Okay I'll go grab us both some food and I will be right back."
Sapnap left the room and walked down the hall to the elevator. He hit the down arrow, and waited. While he was waiting, he felt a light tap on his shoulder. He turned around, and sure enough, there stood Monica.
"Hey Monica!" Sapnap said with a grin.
"Hey! How are you and George holding up?"
"Pretty good. I made him take a nap, but now he's hungry," Sapnap said with a giggle.
"Well good, I'm heading down to the cafeteria, too."
The elevator doors opened and Sapnap and Monica stepped inside. Monica reaches over and clicked the button for the 3rd floor.
"He couldn't stop talking about you." As soon as he said it, Sapnap regretted it.
"What?" Monica said with a confused look on her face.
"George couldn't stop talking about you this morning. The kid must have spent at least 30 minutes talking all about you."
Monica blushes a little, but did her best to cover it with a laugh. "He's... he's great. I really like him," she said with a giggle.
Sapnap was really happy his best friend and his new friend were happy. Then the elevator opened.
As Sapnap and Monica made their way through the lunch line, Monica said, "do you think he would mind if I ate with you guys on my lunch break?"
Sapnap smiled. "I think he would love that."
George reached over and grabbed his friend's hand and squeezed it reassuringly. "I don't know if you can hear me, but please wake up. Please."
Dream wanted to wake up and pull his friend into a hug. But he couldn't.

Sapnap and Monica walked in with 3 trays of food.
"Hey Monica," George said with a blush.
"Hey," she replied, sitting down in the chair next to him.
Sapnap situated himself in a chair across from the two.
"He hasn't moved anymore," George said breaking the silence.
"Anymore? As in, again?" Monica asked, looking at George.
"George thinks he saw Dream mutter something before his nap," said Sapnap.
"He did mutter something," George said, gritting his teeth. "I know it."
Sapnap held his hands out in surrender before returning to eating his food.
"Did you have fun filling out all of that paper work?" George said with a giggle.
Monica lived his laugh. She thought it was absolutely adorable. "I guess you could say I did. My boss was really confused when the metal pan came into play."
George let out a loud laugh. Monica was really funny. It was nice to have someone to get his mind off of the problem at hand. Dream.
Was that... his laugh? Dream thought. He was almost positive he had just heard his best friend let out a whole hearted laugh.
I need to get out of here.
Dream began to concentrate hard. He could almost feel a vein appearing on his forehead.
George looked over at his unconscious friend. Had he just heard a grunt? Was his friend waking up?
"You should eat," Monica said, using her fork to gesture towards George's barely touched sandwich.
George sighed, and went back to eating his food. All of the worry in his head made him unable to concentrate on eating, so it tasted like he was eating air.
I can do this, Dream thought. He channeled all of his willpower into trying to open his eyes. And sure enough, they opened.
