George slowly opened his eyes. He looked in front of him, and Sapnap was still sitting there, looking terrified but unharmed.

George let out a sigh of relief. Then it hit him. I saw him pull the trigger, but never heard a gunshot.

The doctor flashed George an evil grin before deciding to break the tense silence.

"Oh? You both look so surprised. You know, I never told you how many bullets were in the gun, if any at all. I will give you a hint, though. Chamber holds 8, I have 1. I had no idea if I would actually kill your friend or not!" the doctor exclaimed, letting out a maniacal laugh.

George felt the guilt from before settling on him once again like a weighted blanket at the bottom of a lake. He just caused one of his best friends to almost die for the third time this week.

Sapnap noticed the look on his friend's face. "George, it's not your fault. Who could have known that we would get kidnapped by an absolute maniac with a glock after everything we have already been through."

Even though these were simple words of comfort, George appreciated them a lot. "Thanks, Sap," he said with a faint smile.

"Alrighty then," Doctor Brown said. "As fun as this has been, I really must be going. Say goodbye Sapnap!"

And with this, the doctor grabbed the wheelchair and turned out of the room, locking the door behind him. George beat on the door and screamed for help, but no one came. At this point, George was breaking apart. He wanted to call for help, but Doctor Brown had taken his phone with him. He curled up in a ball on the floor, and just sobbed.

Doctor Brown presses the button on the elevator. While waiting, Sapnap was trying to compose a plan of escape, but nothing comes to mind. As the elevator door opens, Sapnap hears a loud clang and turns around to see a young woman dressed in scrubs holding a metal tray over her head. He looks down, and Doctor Brown is out like a light on the floor beside her.

I feel like I know her Sapnap thinks to himself before speaking. But how?

"Come on. Let's get you out of here," said the young woman, pushing Sapnap onto the elevator.

"Wait," he says. "My friend, he's locked down here."

"Show me where to go and I'll help you get him out." Sapnap began to lead the woman down a few hallways before stopping in front of a door. Surprisingly, it was dead silent.

"Are you sure this is the door? The woman asked, pulling out a ring of keys.

"I'm positive," Sapnap said.

As soon as she opened the door, Monica's jaw dropped.

"George?" She asked.

George was pressed into the far corner of the room, his eyes locked on one of the tiles of the floor. He was slowing rocking back and forth, muttering to himself. Monica immediately recognized what was happening.

She dropped to the floor next to George and gently grabbed his arm. "George? I want you to breath with me, okay? In," she said, taking a deep breath inwards. "Out..." she said, releasing that air.

After a few moments, George began to try to steady his breathing. Eventually, he was able to release his knees and sit normally.

"George? Are you okay? Monica asked, gently rubbing George's back."

George began to speak, but was immediately cut off by his own sobs. He felt a pair of warm arms wrap around him, and he immediately hugged back. It was calming, just to have someone to hold onto while he was going through this. After a few minutes, he finally let go of Monica.

"Thank you," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Sapnap was still in shock from all that he had just watched. He had walked into a room, saw his friend having a panic attack, and then watched someone else pull him from the prison if his mind. If he didn't know better, he would've have thought she had performed a miracle.

"Let's get you two out of here," The nurse said, helping George to his feet. The three loaded onto the elevator and headed back up to floor 8. Once Sapnap had been returned to his room, Monica had to go fill out some paperwork on the situation that had taken place downstairs.

Sapnap decided that he should talk to George.

"Was that-"

"Embarrassing? Scary? Awful? Sapnap i don't think there is a single word to describe what we just went through."

"I was going to ask if that was Monica..."

"Oh." George said, now blushing slightly. "Well, I guess if running into her wasn't a good enough first impression, I think having a complete breakdown in front of her was."

Sapnap chuckled a little bit at his friend. "I wonder... no, never mind."

"What?" George said, now fully attentive.

"Oh... it was a silly idea. I was just thinking, maybe, I dunno, you might want to go visit Dream?"

George shot up from his chair. "Why did you even ask? You know the answer is yes," he said, scrambling to bring the wheel chair over.

"I don't need it. A real doctor cleared me to walk," Sap said with a giggle.

And with that, the two boys, slowly but surely, made their way towards their friend's room.
