Gabby opened her eyes and she was in a room a walled up room, where there were just a couple of book and Gabby said "No no no not here, this isn't I can't be here".

Then she kept gasping and breathing loudly and she walked towards the door and tried to open it and it was locked and she said "No no".

Then there was a security camera up and Gabby looked at the floor to see bodies on the floor, and Gabby said "No no".

Then she got closer and the bodies were of her parents both shot and Gabby said "No no no" then she was crying and then the door opened and Gabby turned around and it was Sam and he said "Gabs".

Then Gabby said "Sam, oh my god" then Gabby hugged Sam and Sam said "Hey hey it's okay, I'm gonna get you out of here, come on" then they walked towards the exit and then Sam was shot and Gabby yelled "Sam".

Then Sam fell to the floor and Gabby said "No no" then she tried to stop the bleeding and Sam said "Why didn't you save me?" then Gabby said "No no I'm sorry" then she was crying and looked up and it was the Winter Soldier and Gabby said "Why did you do this".

Then Dr. Strucker appeared and said "Because you know you can't leave, you can never get out you will always end up here".

Then Gabby gasped and said "No no no".

Gabby gasped and woke up in a bed in Sam's apartment , revealing that all of that was a nightmare and kept gasping and Sam walked in and said "Gabby, Are you okay?".

Then Gabby kept gasping as she felt like she couldn't breathe and Sam walked up to her and said "Gabby, hey hey look at me look at me your okay just breathe in you can do this come on".

Then Gabby tried and Sam said "Here it is, just follow me take a deep breath" then Sam took a deep breath and she also did and Gabby said "Okay, I'm good, thanks".

Then Sam said "Did you have a nightmare" then Gabby said "Yeah" then Sam said "Do you want me to book you an appoiment with Dr. Fuller".

Then Gabby said "Yeah I think that would help".

Then Sam said "Okay".

Later in the day, Psychologist Office

Gabby was sitting on the couch and there was a women there, Dr. Fuller with the notebook and said "So, Gabby it's been a while since I've seen you".

Then Gabby said "Yeah um I think it's been almost a week" then Dr. Fuller said "Yes, your Guardian Sam told me you wanted to talk to me".

Then Gabby said "Yes" then Dr. Fuller said "Alright, what is it that you wanted to talk about" then Gabby said "My progress, it just um I had a nightmare about Hydra, I hadn't had one in days, I thought I was finally making progress".

Then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby, you went through a long trauma filled with grief and all of that can take a toll, and you have made progress, It's just not a straight line it will take time, but your making progress all on your own, Think back to when you started this six months ago, you wouldn't sleep, you would have panic attacks all day. You had anxiety attacks, too, and you had a hard time talking about it, now your having less nightmares, your taking your medication, that is a big progress. You should be proud".

Then Gabby said "Really?" then Dr. Fuller said "Really, okay um do you want to talk about the nightmares, you don't have to if your not ready".

Then Gabby said "No no I think I can do it" then Dr. Fuller said "Alright" then Gabby said "I was back at the room in um Hydra".

Then Dr. Fuller said "The room where you were held captive and" then Gabby said "Yeah, I was um back there, and um I saw" then tears fell down her cheek and she pushed them away and said "I saw my parents bodies, of when they first died and um then uh the door opened and it was Sam" then her voice broke and said "He was um going to save me, and then um I'm sorry I can't do this".

Then Dr. Fuller said "Hey hey it's okay that was progress, you talked about a nightmare that's progress".

Then Gabby said "Really?" then Dr. Fuller said "Yes, Look Gabby you've been through a lot more than most people deal with their lifetime, but your getting help and talking those are huge steps".

Then Gabby said "Thank you, that makes me feel a little better" then Dr. Fuller said "Alright, um you have had this nightmare more than once why do you think that is?".

Then Gabby said "Um, I just I feel like I'm always in that room, that I can't get out no matter how hard I try, I feel like i'm always gonna be there and I can't" then her voice broke as she cried and said "I just want to forget about this".

Then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby, this was terrible and I know that it was hard for you but you will be able to move through it".

Then Gabby said "Um, would it be okay if we uh talked about something else" then Dr. Fuller said "Yes, of course".

Then Gabby said "Okay" then Dr. Fuller said "Um, how about your powers? You want to talk about that"then Gabby said "Sure, I haven't used them".

Then Dr. Fuller said "Why's that' then Gabby said "I don't know, I just don't want to" then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby, we've been doing this long enough that I know when your lying".

Then Gabby said "Okay, um I just I can't use them, I just don't want to talk about my powers" then Dr. Fuller said "Okay, but Gabby I cannot help you if you don't talk to me".

Then Gabby said "Okay, um Hydra gave me those powers and I can't use them because I don't know it's like when I use them for me it's like I'm accepting that I'm a weapon, it was different when it was for other people".

Then Dr. Fuller said "Alright, Gabby your powers are a part of who you are, and it's important that you accept that, it's something that you haven't been working on".

Then Gabby said "Because I don't want to, I don't need to" then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby you cannot deny what happened forever".

Then Gabby said "I'm not" then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby" then Dr. Fuller went to write something on the notebook and Gabby heard her saying "She's in stage one, Denial".

Then Gabby said "I am not in denial" then Dr. Fuller said "I didn't say that" then Gabby said "Yes you did I just heard you".

Then Gabby heard Dr. Fuller saying "Uncontrollable telepathy powers" then Gabby said "How is that related to this, you know you don't have to say out loud everything that you think" then she realized that Dr. Fuller didn't say that and that she was hearing her thoughts.

Then Gabby said "Goddamn it , I was reading your mind" then Dr. Fuller said "Gabby, you have powers and this experience you need to accept it, I understand that you may not be there yet, but if you continue to deny it it will get worse, not everyone is here to hurt you".

Then Gabby said "I know, but it's hard okay this is you know hard for me" then Dr. Fuller said "I know, it is okay why don't we go over our three steps for the nightmares and the panic attacks, What you say to yourself".

Then Gabby said "Okay, first it's not real, it's just my mind" then Dr. Fuller said "Second?" then Gabby said "I'm safe, I'm not gonna get hurt ".

Then Dr. Fuller said "And the last one? It's important" then Gabby said "It's in the past".

Then Dr. Fuller said "And you know, Grief is a complex emotion , so is Trauma, it's a long recovery and you need to allow yourself sometime, it's going to take time and it won't be simple, it's okay to keep feeling this, it's part of it, it doesn't make you weak".

Then Gabby said "Thanks".

Later

Gabby walked out of the office and Sam was outside and said "Hey, how was it?" then Gabby said "Um, it was okay, I don't want to talk about it".

Then Sam said "Okay, maybe I should do the mission alone" then Gabby said "No no please, I need to think about something else".

Then Sam said "Alright fine, but your on tech" then Gabby said "Deal" then they highfived.

Tunisia

Gabby was on a computer on an U.S Air force car next to Joaquin Torres and was talking to Sam through Comms who was flying on the air and Gabby said "You are going to keep it subtle , right".

Then Sam said "You heard all of that" then Gabby said "No, I just guessed , Please be subtle and careful" then Sam said "That's my middle name".

Then Gabby said "No, it's not" then Joaquin laughed and said "Yeah right" then Sam said "Alright, will you two stop it".

Then Gabby said "Alright, we're Sending intel to your HUD right now" then Joaquin said "I'll be your boots on the ground, sir."

Then Gabby said "And I will be your smart friend looking through your camera and comms, and controlling Red wing".

Then Sam said "I can't believe I let you make modification to Red Wing" then Gabby said "Didn't hear any complaining on the last couple of mission, just go".

Then Sam said "I got eyes on a plane. Any sign of LAF?" then Joaquin said " Nah. Nothing yet. "

Then Gabby said "We'll keep tracking the chatter" then Sam said "They've already hijacked the plane. Oh, we're gonna need to call some people."

Then Gabby saw through the camera that Sam was going towards the plane and Gabby said "Whoa whoa Sam, what happened to being subtle?".

Then Sam said "i'm going to be subtle, no one will see him" then she saw Sam fighting the guys on the plane and Gabby said "Okay I can't see anything" then Sam said "Sorry, Gabs I turned it off, I have to focus".

Then Gabby started typing on the computer started typing codes and while she did it said "You know I hate that nickname".

Then got the camera back to see Falcon flying back to follow the LAF and then on the computer it said Suit Damaged.

Then Gabby said "Whoa whoa Sam, why does it say Damaged? Subtle doesn't equal to damaged suit, what did you do?".

Then Sam said "Okay, how did you get visuals back" then Gabby said "I'm that good" then Sam said "You can yell at me later, just get them off my ass".

Then Gabby typed on the computer and said "Alright insenrting an attack using the engine" then she threw it a boulder throwing some of them back. "

Then Sam kept fighting them and a bunch of Planes got destroyed and Gabby said "Um, Sam your getting closer to the border, as in your about to fly into Libyan airspace."

Then Sam said " And I assume they have a problem with that" then Torres said "Yeah, yeah. A big problem. A big problem."

Then Sam said "How long I got? " then Gabby said "Ninety seconds" then they saw more missiles coming from the Libyan government and Torres said "Aw, shit. He's outnumbered."

Then Sam kept fighting avoiding the missles and Torres said "We gotta fall back! We gotta call it off".

Then Gabby said "Hold on" then Gabby started typing and created more routes boosting the engine and Sam said "Gabs what are you doing?".

Then Gabby said "just, trust me and got it" then it said route rerotued and Sam said "Gabby, your good" then he went into the plane and rescues Vassant and forces Batronc to the ground.

Then Torres said "Nice" then Gabby said "Thank you" .

Tusnian City

Gabby was sitting on a table next to Sam as he was trying to repair his suit and Joaquin handed Sam a beer and Gabby a juice and Gabby said "Thanks" then she looked at Sam and Joaquin said "You know you could try".

Then Gabby said "Yeah you could reroute that to the other" then Sam said "Hey , could you two don't? I don't need help, your 16."

Then Gabby said "Yeah and I'm the one who oh i don't know saved your life and helped you save him".

Then Sam said "I could have done that myself" then Gabby said "Sure" then Sam laughed and said " I've been working with the Air Force for six months now. Every time ops touches him, he gets all glitchy."

Then Joaquin said "Well, you know, those poor techs can't keep up with a billion returning IP addresses and your sick-ass Stark-level tech. modified by a genius 16 year old".

Then Gabby smiled and a man walked up to them and said "Hey, Avengers."

Then Gabby and Sam turned around and Sam talked to them in Arabic and Gabby wave bye and Joaquin said "He knows Arabic."

Then Gabby said "I was in hiding with you for 2 years, How did I not know about this" then Sam said "Your not the only smart one. "

Then Gabby fake smiled

Then Joaquin said "Anyway, these LAF crews, man, they're trying to take advantage of all the chaos and make some money. And that I get, but there's..."

Then his phone beeped and he showed them a video and Gabby said "What's that" then Joaquin said "Well, You see these guys? They're guys you gotta worry about. I've been stumbling onto their manifestos on message boards. They're called the Flag Smashers."

Then Sam said "Is that a new thing? Bad guys give themselves bad names" then Gabby said "I know it's weird, but to be fair there's a lot worse names than that one".

Then Joaquin said "Look, bad names aside, they think that the world was better during The Blip. Trust me, it wasn't."

Then Gabby said "Trust me. Every time something gets better for one group, it gets worse for another."

Then Joaquin said "Yeah. Essentially, these people, they want a world that's unified without borders. So, you could see why a lot of people are into that."

Then Sam said "Yeah, but keep an eye on it. If anything gets serious, you let me know."

Then Gabby fake coughed and Sam said "Sorry, let us know" then Joaquin said "No doubt. I'll... I'll, uh... I'll track the online chatter, see what they're saying. I do gotta ask you, both of you though, 'cause online there's just been a lot of stuff about Steve, actually.Um, crazy, crazy conspiracy theories. So, some people... Some people, they think that he's in a secret base on the moon looking down over us."

Then Gabby and Sam looked at each other and Gabby said "Yeah. Well, I can assure you, those people, you don't have to take seriously."

Then Joaquin said "But neither of you like" then he imitated a flying sound and Sam said "Fly him to the moon?".

Then Gabby said "Nope" then Joaquin said "Had to check" then Gabby and Sam got up and Joaquin said "So, where are you two off to?".

Then Sam said "Washington" then Joaquin said "What are you doin' there?" then Gabby said "Moon stuff."

Washington, Smithstorian

Gabby was sitting down listening to Sam speech and Sam said " Steve represented the best in all of us. Courageous, righteous, hopeful. And he mastered posing stoically."

Then they all chuckled and he said "The world has been forever changed. A few months ago, billions of people reappeared after five years away, sending the world into turmoil. We need new heroes. Ones suited for the times we're in. Symbols... are nothing without the women and men that give them meaning."

Then he took the Shield out and said "And this thing... don't know if there's ever been a greater symbol. But it's more about the man who propped it up, and he's gone. So, today we honor Steve's legacy. But also, we look to the future. So, thank you, Captain America. But this belongs to you."

Then he handed it to someone and they all clapped and Sam walked up to her and Gabby said "Nice speech".

Then Sam said "Thank you, Gabbs" then Gabby said "Just Gabby, you know I hate that nickname" then Sam said "I know".

Then Rhodey walked up to Sam and said "Hey, Gabby, Hey Sam" then Gabby said "Hey, Rhodey" then Rhodey said "Sam, can I talk to you".

Then Sam looked at Gabby and she said "It's cool" then Sam said "I'll be right back, behave" then Gabby said "I always do" then Sam walked away and Gabby was walking around and a man walked up to her and he said "Gabriella Anderson?".

Then Gabby turned around and said "That's me" then Gabby saw who it was and said "Henry?".

Then Henry said "Hey " then Gabby said "What do you want?" then Henry said "No hello?" then Gabby said "Hmm, nope we haven't talked in years, you also knew about Hydra and did nothing".

Then Henry said "They threatened to kill me, they wanted you I had to" then Gabby said "Oh you had to? ".

Then Henry said "Gabby, I was friends with your parents" then Gabby said "Oh really, do you get all your friends killed, stay away from me".

Then Henry said "No" then Gabby said "You know, I have powers right, I don't use them much but I will have no problem using them to kick your ass".

Then Henry said "Fine" then he walked away and Sam said "You okay?" then Gabby said "I'm fine".

Then Sam said "So, I'm going to visit my sister, want to come?" then Gabby said "Um no, I have to do that thing".

Then Sam said "Gabs, you know you don't have to do it, you can give yourself more time" then Gabby said "No no, I think this would be good for me".

Then Sam said "Alright, you ready?" then Gabby said "Plus, you know I can talk to my parents".

Then Sam said "Okay, but i can't just leave you alone" then Gabby said "I won't be, I talked to a friend of mine, Scott I'm staying with him".

Then Sam said "Is there something between you two" then Gabby said "No, trust me I don't really want to, We're just friends".

Then Sam said "alright, call me" then Gabby said "I will".

Miami Cemetery

Gabby looked down at a grave stone which said "Kendra Anderson, Born on January 15th,1971-Died on October 13th,2012, Beloved Mother and Wife and then at another one which said James Anderson Born on April 13th, 1971- Died on October 13th, 2012, Beloved Husband and Father.

Then Gabby said "Hi, Mom Dad it's me, I um I just um came here because um I'm sorry that I didn't come before it was hard you know I really miss you but Um I'm ready, I am so sorry mom dad, I should have done something, I know it wasn't my fault".

Then Gabby voice broke as she wiped her tears away and said " But you should be here not me, I know I shouldn't think that but I'm trying really hard, but it's just uh hard, but I promise I'm gonna make you proud, you know I'm working on it in Therapy, I'm working on it , You guys are why I wanted to join the Avengers, to make you proud so I could be better".

Then Gabby said "I'm actually going to do something you taught me to do, I just you know I miss you guys, and it's hard to be without you, but I'm going to be okay, M

Then she put the flower down and gasped and wiped her tears away and said "I got you, your favourite flowers, Azalea, It's why I chose that as my superhero name, Azalea Sonic, it's my way to remember you, you both, I remember that you guys told me how you used this at your wedding and on every birthday, anyway I miss you guys and I love you".

Brooklyn, New York

Gabby was using her powers of Sonic manipulation to fly appearing sonic waves from her hands to make her fly and she flew down and Gabby made the blue energy disappeared and landed on the floor and walked towards the apartment buidling and said "I can do this, I can so do this, Alright Gabby you just go in there".

Then Bucky walked out and he said "Gabriella" then Gabby said "Hi, Bucky um I actually came here to oh this is hard, Hmm I know that what you did to me to my family as the winter soldier wasn't you, and it wasn't your fault you were trapped too , so I am going to say that I'm on the way to forgiving you and that I understand".

Then Bucky said "Really? Oh I wanted to do the same thing, make amends with you but I had a feeling you wouldn't be feeling like talking to me".
