《People Meet Percabeth》Chiron

Chiron's POV:

This is it. The moment the entire camp has been waiting for. I myself am excited also. This the day that Percy and Annabeth will kiss. It has been increasingly obvious since about two years ago.

"Okay Campers. The day is here, the day we have all been training for. Percabeth is going to kiss!" Clarisse shouts as soon as Annabeth leaves with blue cake. The whole camp lets out a big cheer. It is true, we have been training for this for a while. The Athena Cabin takes action.

"Cabins 1-6, spy left, cabins 7-10 take right, cabins 11, 12, satyrs and other creatures take the middle." We all nod, we know the drill. It is strange to see the campers leading.

I start out to the lake, straight through the middle. I have mixed emotions about this. I am very happy for Percy and Annabeth, but also a little sad. They are growing up. Annabeth is like a daughter to me. I have raised and trained her since she was seven. Almost 10 years. Percy is an energetic and happy boy, he could pick up Annabeth when she was too Sirius. Annabeth could make Percy calm down and behave like no one else. The only problem would occur if they broke up. If they broke up, Annabeth would be heartbroken. Or in a different scenario, Percy would be heartbroken. I couldn't let them break up. Both children were too dear to my heart. But then again I knew deep down, heroes rarely got happy endings with love. Take Jason and Medea, take Atalanta, take all the other heroes that I have watched succumbed to love. I press up against the tree, trying and failing to camouflage. I see Annabeth talking with Percy, and as if in slow motion they kiss. I stand paralyzed watching my two favorite heroes kiss. The entire camp bursts out into cheers. The Aphrodite girls are squealing. A battle cry bubbles out of Clarisse's mouth and everyone rushed forward. Percy was blushing. I have never seen him do that! Annabeth was just grinning and pretending to wave like a princess. We ran with them on our shoulders and threw them into the lake. I would have spoken up, protesting that Percy was the son of Poseidon, but I let them have their fun. Let's just say Percabeth didn't come up for a long time.
