《I Don't Like You - Beomgyu x Taehyun》VI

got up about two hours before his alarm was set to go off for. This happened almost everyday, so he was used to it, but some days he wished he could sleep instead of laying down for hours. Stumbling out of bed, he knocked over his phone, which created a loud bang on the floor.
"Oh my gosh, Taehyun. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you again," Kai looked over to the older's bed and noticed that it was empty. "Of course he's not there," the boy smiled, "He's with his boyfriend." He recalled the night before when Taehyun and Beomgyu got back to the dorms. Kai was already home and heard them knocking at the door but decided not to open it so they would be forced to spend more time together. Kai sighed. He wished he had someone who wanted to spend a lot of time with, but he always pushes people away because he finds himself annoying and doesn't want to annoy others.
Shaking away his thoughts, he began to get ready for the day. Even though the youngest had all the time in the world, he was still too lazy to put any effort into his appearance. He slipped on a purple hoodie and a pair of black basketball shorts. Kai went into the bathroom and groaned when he saw his hair. It was a mess. Deciding it was too much work to deal with it, he just threw a black beanie over it. As a finishing touch, "Cheese!" he checked his smile in the mirror. Don't get Kai wrong, he is happy, very happy, but he just wanted to make sure he looked it. He would hate for his friends to worry about him. After brushing his teeth, he headed to the kitchen and poured himself a bowl of Frosted Flakes, his favorite. Kai wondered what Taehyun and Beomgyu did after he left and hoped they had fun. They would be a super cute couple. "Taegyu, Taegyu, Taegyu~" he sung as he finished his breakfast, putting away the dishes. With nothing left to do in his room, he decided it was time to head to school.
Kai skipped down the sidewalk, occasionally taking a sip from his chocolate milk that he grabbed before leaving, when he noticed something odd. There was a boy standing in front of the entrance. Kai squinted his eyes. He was always the first to school and this big shot thinks he can just show up one day and take his place? The guy started to turn around causing Kai to yelp and duck behind a bush. For some reason, Kai could of sworn he saw this guy before, but just couldn't put a name with his face.
"Hello?" the boy's voice sent a shiver down Kai's spine. He was tempted to just go up and talk to the boy but it's be too weird now. How could he explain why he was hiding behind a bush, plus he's on a mission now. He wanted to find out who this boy was and why he was here so early without making himself known. "I know someone is there. You're not very good at hiding," the voice said, already sounding done with Kai's shenanigans. Abort! Abort!
Kai stuck his head out the side of the bush, "Oh hey! Didn't see you there."
"Is that why you were spying on me?" the boy laughed.
"I wasn't spying!" Kai pouted, getting out of his hiding space.
"So you and that bush are just that good of friends, huh?" he pushed back his orange hair.

"Th-That doesn't matter," Kai retorted, "Anyways, I don't think I've seen you around the school before. Are you new or something?"
The other shook his head, "I have no interest in becoming an idol."
Kai puffed his cheeks and sighed in confusion, "Then why are you here, especially at this hour?"
"Choi Beomgyu," the male stated, "Do you know who that is? I need to talk to him."
-
Entering the school, Taehyun felt like he was hanging out with a completely different person. Beomgyu kept a good distance away from Taehyun and as he walked. He kept looking at everyone, listening to their conversations, while trying to hide his face at the same time. The gossip wasn't as bad as it was yesterday, but there were still a few side-eyes and comments thrown around here and there. "Beomgyu," Taehyun called out, running to catch up with him, "You're a mess."
"Huh?" the older stopped and looked at him, "What are you talking about?"
"You've never had a rumor spread about you before have you?" Taehyun smirked, "I bet everyone loved you at your old school!"
Beomgyu smiled sheepishly, "Yeah, this is a first for me."
"Don't worry," Taehyun wrapped himself around Beomgyu's arm, "I'll help you get through it. They're not as terrible as they seem."
Beomgyu looked at him with sad eyes, "Wait, have you had stuff spread before?"
"Mhm," the younger noddeed, "but it's not a big deal. I learned to deal with them and it's made me stronger, so in a way, I'm grateful that they happened. Anyways, do you know our schedule for today?"
"Let me check," Beomgyu pulled out his phone and they continued walking, "First, we have Reputation and Appearance class with Mr. Kim, then we have English class with, uh, the other Mr. Kim, lastly we have vocal classes again with Mr. Jeon and the last Mr. Kim. Why are there so many different Mr. Kims at this school? It's confusing."
"I mean, you can always call them by their nicknames they given themselves, well at least the first two," Taehyun shrugged.
"I'm fine calling our English teacher Mr. RM," Beomgyu laughed, "but if I have to call our R&A teacher 'Mr. World Wide Handsome' I don't think I could ever take him seriously."
"I can never take Mr. World Wide Handsome seriously," Taehyun sighed, "If I have to hear another dad joke, I think I'm going to pull all of my hair out!"
"But you look so pretty with your hair, baby," Beomgyu pouted, "You'd look like an egg if you lost all of it."
"Sh-Shut up!" Taehyun hit him, patially because he was embarassed by that pet name again and partially because Beomgyu just called him an egg.
The older laughed, "Come on, I don't want to be late again."
Taehyun nodded in agreement as they made their way to their first class of the day.
-
"I think after what happened yesterday, we can all agree reputation is very important, yes?" their teacher eyed Beomgyu.
"Mr. Kim," the golden haired boy crossed his arms, "It wasn't my fault!"
"That's Mr. World Wide Handsome to you," he pushed back his hair and threw a kiss, "And in the end, it doesn't matter whose fault it is if it still affects you. Do you really think I asked for all of those dating rumors to happen?" Beomgyu sighed and slumped down in his seat. "I know Mr. Park already talked to you guys about a way to overcome this, I'm gonna give him a peice of my mind later, so I want to talk about a type of reputation that is a little more important than your reputation to the public, reputation between yourselves."

"So relationships," Yeonjun raised an eyebrow, "If that's what you wanted to talk about why'd you waste so much time with a speech about reputation?"
"Hey, it's my class so I'll teach it the way I want. If you keep correcting me, I'll be BEARY sad," Mr. World Wide Handsome laughed and pointed to his shirt, which, of course, had a bear on it. The five boys groaned. "You guys are awfully quiet today. I can sense some tension in the air, but if I'm wrong, you're more than welcome to correct me."
"We're all fine, right guys?" Kai looked around at his bandmates who didn't respond.
"Not right," Mr. World Wide Handsome answered, "I have the perfect idea to help solve this." The teacher plays a streamer sound effect off of his computer before announcing, "The Honesty Game!"
"Sounds boring," Soobin adverted his eyes across the room.
"You know," Mr. World Wide Handsome cleared his throat, "You can be really unBEARable sometimes!"He was the only one to laugh at his joke, "Anyways, I'm going to call two of you up and I want you to hold hands and tell eachother things you like and dislike about eachother. There's no limit to how much you say so just let everything out, but you have to say at least one of each. First up is Kai and Beomgyu."The boys both looked at eachother before slowly heading up in front of the class. When they got up there they held hands, neither of them made eye contact. "Go on," Mr. World Wide Handsome urged them.
"Umm," Kai looked down at their hands, "I don't really have anything bad to say."
"I guess I'll go first then," Beomgyu looked at Kai, "You're really nice and happy and you always manage to put a smile on my face, but sometimes you can be annoying. You act a bit childish, even in serious situations."
Kai closed his eyes, "I know."
"Please don't take it the wrong way," Beomgyu felt guilty, "You're still amazing the way you are and I wouldn't change anything about you even if I could."
"It's ok, I know you don't mean any harm," Kai looked down at the boy, "And as for you, um, I guess, ugh, Mr. World Wide Handsome do I have to?"
"I wouldn't of made you go up there if you didn't," he nodded.
"Fine," Kai sighed, "You're too full of yourself sometimes."
Beomgyu tilted his head, "What do you mean?"
" 'Oh I have a date tonight' that makes me too good to hang out with you four dateless losers," the younger mocked, "or better, 'obviously we improved because we praticed.' "
Beomgyu pressed his tongue against his cheek and smiled, "Ok, I see what you mean."
"As for the positive thing," he looked up, "That's even harder than the negative one!"
"Wow," the golden haired boy hung his head and laughed.
"Just kidding," Kai stuck out his tongue, "You're super talented in pretty much everything you do, but don't let that compliment add to your ego." Beomgyu smiled and nodded.
"Is there anything else either of you would like to add?" Mr. World Wide Handsome asked.
"No sir," they both responded in unison.
"Good job," he clasped his hands together, "You both can go sit down."They smiled at eachother and returned to their seats. "Next up is Taehyun and Soobin." Taehyun bit down on his tongue after hearing the two names. 'You have got to be kidding me,' he thought as he headed to the front of the classroom. They held hands and looked at eachother as if they wanted to kill eachother. "Begin," Mr. World Wide Handsome ordered.
"You've been really rude lately," Taehyun started without hesitation.
"You're the one who got all moody because Beomgyu didn't want to come out to the bakery with us." Soobin retorted.
Taehyun pursed his lips together, "At least I don't have the same temper as a gorilla."
"You've been really posessive lately over you know who," Soobin scoffed, "At least I didn't lose my cool over a jacket."
Taehyun rolled his eyes, "Whatever, you're the one who leaves people alone in public places while they're unconscious."
Soobin tightened his grip, "You know nothing about that! Stop acting like you do."
"Wanna know something I do know?" Taehyun cocked his eyebrow, "You tried to fight one of our here bandmates. What an amazing leader you are." Soobin glared at Beomgyu, who gasped.
"Again, you act like you know everything, but you don't!" Soobin raised his voice, "I'm not the one who has a pathetic crush on someone when they know it'll never happen."
"Now look at the one who acts like they know everything," Taehyun scowled, "If you're so smart then please-"
"Enough!" Mr. World Wide Handsome yelled and pressed his hand over his face, "I think I found where the tension is coming from." The two boys continued glaring at eachother. "Tell eachother something nice, now, it's part of your assignment as well."
"I like your hair color," Soobin said, "but it suits me better."
"Well you're our leader," Taehyun sighed, "Not saying what kind of leader, but that's a good thing I guess."
"I can't believe this," Mr. World Wide Handsome rubbed his temples, "If you can't get along with eachother then how do you expect to be successful?" Neither of them replied. "I'm going to end class early today so you guys can figure out this mess. By the time our next session is scheduled, you two better be the best of friends of else I'll be BEARY mad." The teacher didn't laugh this time and left the room.
Soobin threw down Taehyun's hands causing Taehyun to hit his legs, "Ow?"
"Shut up," Soobin crossed his arms, "This is all your fault. We could of just lied and everything would of been fine."
"It's called the honest game for a reason," Taehyun rolled his eyes, "You're not supposed to lie, that's the whole point."
"It's both of your faults," Yeonjun interrupted their bickering, "I'm not sure what exactly is going on but we're going to fix it now. With the extra time given to us, I suggest we do a little group therapy."
"Do we have to?" Taehyun groaned.
"Do you want to face the punishment that Mr. World Wide- Mr. Kim will give us if we don't?"
"No," Soobin sighed.
"That's what I thought," Yeonjun huffed, "Now come on, all five of us need to participate. The sooner we start the better."
"We can't!" Kai exclaimed, grabbing Beomgyu's arm, "I mean you guys can, but not Beomgyu and I. Someone wants to talk to him and apparently it's very important."
"Can't it wait?" Beomgyu asked.
"No," the black haired boy shook his head, "I promised him I'd let you talk to him as soon as possible."
"Fine," Yeonjun sighed, "I'll catch you two up on what happened later."
"Thanks," Kai smiled at them and lead Beomgyu outside.
"So, who is this person I'm supposed to be meeting?" the older asked suspiciously.
"I don't know his name," Kai shrugged as he texted someone on his phone, "I only met him today."
"You're sending me to go talk to some random stranger?" Beomgyu stopped in his tracks.
"Yeah," Kai smiled at him, "Come on please? I promised him!"
"You didn't think it'd be a good idea to ask me first?" Beomgyu looked at him.
"Well I talked to him eary this morning," the younger bit his lip, "and I didn't want to interrupt your date with Taehyun."
"D-date?" Beomgyu was taken aback and Kai smiled at his reaction.
"Come on," he pouted, showing the older his phone, "He just texted me where to meet him at."
"Fine," Beomgyu sighed, "but if we get murdered it's your fault."

Primacy Online
Life on Earth was nearly eradicated in World War III, but using alien technology, the Patriarch of the Church of the Resurrection built a new society from the ashes. He created what he called the Constructed Reality MMORPG, Primacy Online, a world so real that the players could not distinguish it from reality. After outlawing wars between the city-states on Earth, he declared that all wars would be fought inside the world of Primacy Online. Thirteen hundred years later, the release of Primacy Online VI: Legacy of Balor signals the beginning of World War IX. Players from Earth's city-states will be locked in cryogenic capsules and play Primacy Online in War Mode. Their achievements in the game will determine the victory rankings of their city-states, but if they die in the game, they will die for real. Patrick Armagh found flaws in the game mechanics of Primacy Online and exploited them to rise to the peak of the game. But when the Church declared he was cheating, he was perma-banned from the game. Now, the Church has declared that Patrick and all the other perma-banned cheaters will be included in a special Church group for World War IX, where they can earn redemption for their sin of cheating. However, Morgan Danan, Speaker of the City of Mann, and the generally acknowledged number one player of Primacy Online, has a deal for Patrick. With her help and his method of cheating, he has the chance to become a virtual god within Primacy Online, but by taking up her offer, he will become an enemy of the Church. Like a significant percentage of Primacy Online players, Patrick suffers from an ultimately fatal, degenerative nervous system disorder. He has less than five years to live. With death staring him in the face and nothing to live for, he accepts Morgan Danan's offer, and once again, enters Primacy Online as Crom Cruach, a disgraced legend. Will Crom Cruach, once again, become a legend, or will he be destroyed by the Church? What secrets has the Church hidden inside the game?
