《I Don't Like You - Beomgyu x Taehyun》V

eyes fluttered open and he yawned. It took him a second to realize where he was and shot up, '"I'm so sorry Soobin I-" Beomgyu looked around the cafe and found no sign of him or his belongings, "Soobin?" Beomgyu sunk down in his seat, hoping Soobin didn't actually leave him alone and was actually just hiding somewhere waiting for the right opportunity to jump out. That's when he noticed a napkin in the middle of the table, "Is there something written on here?"He picked it up and sure enough there was a note scribbled down:
I had to leave and couldn't get you to wake up, sorry.
-Soobin
Beomgyu angrily crumbled up the napkin, "Are you kidding me?" He threw all of his possessions into his bag and he felt something fall to the ground. Beomgyu bent down to pick it up. "Is this Soobin's jacket?" he examined the fabric, "Why was it over here?" He stuffed into his back, "Whatever. I'll just throw it in his stupid face tomorrow." Just as Beomgyu was about to leave, he heard a familiar voice call his name and turned around, "Taehyun? Kai?"
"It took you forever to wake up," Taehyun smiled at him, "Would you like to join us?"
"Sure," Beomgyu walked over towards them and took a seat in the booth next to Taehyun, who immediately started blushing.
"Oh wow would you look at the time!" Kai quickly got out of his booth, almost tripping over himself, "I need to go, uh, feed my pet-sister! Yeah, my sister. I promised her I'd go out and have dinner with her tonight. Ok, bye!"
Beomgyu watched Kai as he rushed out of the restaurant, "He is so weird sometimes."
"I mean it is Kai we're talking about," Taehyun joked, causing Beomgyu to giggle. "Why is he so cute?" Taehyun whispered.
"Hmm?" the older boy wasn't sure if he heard him right.
"Oh nothing, sorry, just thinking out loud," Taehyun laughed nervously, pushing back his hair.
'Did he just call me cute?' the thought made Beomgyu blush, 'Stop thinking like that! You only like him as a friend. You don't even like boys.' Beomgyu shook his head and slapped his own face.
Taehyun gasped, "Oh my God-"
"Gummy bears?" Beomgyu cut him off, trying to divert the conversation, "Want some?" Taehyun just stared at him as he dug through his bag and pulled out a bag of gummy bears, "I actually got these for, um, nevermind." Beomgyu took a piece of candy out of the bag and held it in front of Taehyun's lips. "Say ahh," Beomgyu sang. The younger did as he was told and smiled after he was fed. He was probably blushing like crazy right now, but he didn't care because he was having fun.
"Your turn," the dark haired boy announced taking another piece of candy out of the bag, "Say ahh." Beomgyu obeyed, but right when Taehyun went to put the gummy bear in his mouth Beomgyu stuck out his tongue, licking Taehyun's finger. "Ack!" Taehyun dropped the candy, "You're disgusting!" Beomgyu luaghed at him as the younger wiped his hand on Beomgyu's shirt.

"Aww, baby, are you mad at me?" the older boy teased, putting on a fake frown.
"N-no," Taehyun stumbled, taken aback by the new pet name,"I'm not mad, but you're still a jerk!" Taehyun playfully punched Beomgyu's shoulder.
The golden brown haired boy held onto his shoulder and whined, "Ah! Ah! Ow! You hurt me."
Taehyun smiled and rolled his eyes, "Stop being so dramamtic!"
"Ok! ok!" Beomgyu laughed, but noticed Taehyun's smile fade as he stared at something behind him. Beomgyu turned around and noticed a few of the other customers were staring at them. One girl was even recording them, but she hid her phone once she realized she had been caught. "I guess this is the price of being an idol," Beomgyu sighed, turning to face Taehyun, "No privacy."
"It's ok," Taehyun smiled, grabbing the rest of the gummy bears, "Let's head home."
The older looked out of the window and whined, "But it's raining outside!"
"A little water never hurt anyone," Taehyun grabbed Beomgyu's hand and led him outside.
"We're going to be soaked!" Beomgyu complained.
"You're right. it's not exactly the shortest walk," Taehyun smirked, "So I guess we'll just have to run." Before Beomgyu could object, Taehyun took off, dragging the older boy along.
-
Both boys were out of breath by the time they reached the dorm lobby. They looked at eachother and burst into laughter. "You can't just take off like that," Beomgyu said inbetween breaths, "I'm a performer, not a runner."
"That line sounds awfully familiar," Taehyun giggled to himself.
"But I have to admit," Beomgyu smiled, "This was pretty fun." Taehyun nodded in agreement and it got quiet, but a good kind of quiet.
"Oh sorry," Taehyun, just now realizing he was still holding onto Beomgyu's hand, let go.
"It's ok. I don't mind," Beomgyu pushed back his wet hair, "Are you ready to go back to your room? You're shivering."
Taehyun was cold, but he didn't want tonight to end and shook his head, "I'm ok!"
"Liar," Beomgyu frowned, "Come on, I'll walk you back to your room."Taehyun sighed. He guessed Beomgyu didn't feel the same way. They walked up to the second floor and stopped in front of Taehyun's room. "Here we are," Beomgyu gestured towards the door.
"Thanks," Taehyun dug in his pockets and groaned, "I forgot Kai took the keys when he left."
"I thought both of you had keys," Beomgyu tilted his head.
"We do," the younger replied, "but we originally planned to hang out together so it wouldn't make sense to bring both of them."
"Ah," Beomgyu knocked on the door. They sat there for a minute but the door never opened.
"He must be out with his sister still," Beomgyu guessed.
"Yeah or sleeping," Taehyun scoffed, "He's so lazy."
"Well, you can always stay at my room if you want," Beomgyu suggested.
"Huh?" Taehyun looked at him, "I don't want to be a bother or anything."
The golden brown haired boy shook his head, "You won't be! I'm always alone and it'll be nice to have some company for a change." Taehyun smiled and nodded his head. "Great, follow me," Beomgyu headed up to the fourth floor and Taehyun followed close behind. He couldn't believe that he was going to stay the night in his crush's room. Taehyun silently sighed, he needed to stop thinking about Beomgyu like this because it's just a rumor. The thought of them ever getting together was immpossible and if Taehyun keeps letting his feeling develop he'll only end up getting hurt.

"I'll go get you some dry clothes," Beomgyu said as soon as they entered, leaving Taehyun standing awkwardly in the middle of the room. He looked around and was pretty impressed. Beomgyu's room was clean, except for a few loose articles of clothing on the ground. He was always the messiest of the five whenever they went out so he expected his room to be the same way, but he was wrong. It was cozy. "The shower is over there. You're more than welcome to use it," Beomgyu handed Taehyun a small pile of clothes.
"Are you sure you don't want to go first?" Taehyun asked, feeling guilty, as they stepped in the bathroom, "It is your room."
"It's fine," Beomgyu reassured him, taking a towel from himself, "I take really long showers." Taehyun nodded, queuing the older to leave, shutting the door behind him.
Taehyun stepped into the shower and closed his eyes as the warm water hit his face. It's cliché, but the only thing on his mind was Beomgyu. Taehyun tried his best to distract himself by washing his hair with Beomgyu's lavender shampoo, but that only made him think the boy was even cuter. Once he was done cleaning up, he turned off the shower and put on the clothes that Beomgyu had given him. It was a half red and half blue supreme sweatshirt and a white pair of sweatpants. It personally wasn't Taehyun's style, but it was soft and warm so he didn't mind. He remembered one day Beomgyu wore this to school and Mr. Kim got mad at him for looking "unpresentable" so he wore it again the next day just to spite him. Taehyun laughed at the memory, "He's so dumb." He opened the door to find Beomgyu sitting on a towel on the floor, eating a bowl of ramen.
"Oh hey," Beomgyu greeted, mouth half full, "I didn't know how long you were going to take so I just made you some ramen. It's in the microwave."
"Thanks," Taehyun nodded. Beomgyu got up and went in the bathroom, leaving his bowl on the floor. "I take back what I thought when I first came in here," Taehyun sighed, picking up the mess Beomgyu had left. He sat on the edge of the made bed, assuming it wasn't the one Beomgyu used, and began to eat his food. It wasn't very good, but he still appreciated the older's effort. When he was about three-fourths done with his food he heard a phone start to ring. Taehyun pulled out his phone, but noticed that the screen was blank, so that means....
Taehyun contemplated if he should answer Beomgyu's phone or not. It's not his phone so it's none of his buisness, but what if it's something important? Taehyun went to Beomgyu's bed and found Beomgyu's phone to see who was calling, "Soobin?" He picked up the call, "Hello?
It was silent on the other end for a few seconds before he got a reply back, "Taehyun?"
"Is there something you needed?" the younger boy asked, fidgeting with the hem of his shirt, "Wait. Before you answer that I just wanted to apologize for how I acted earlier at the cafe. I don't know what come over me and-"
"Where's Beomgyu?" Soobin ignored his apology, "and why do you have his phone?"
"We're in his dorm and he couldn't answer the phone because he's in the shower," Taehyun answered, not liking the way Soobin was talking to him.
"Why are you with him?" Soobin asked coldly.
Taehyun tugged on his hair, "I didn't think someone who was so eager to leave him alone sleeping would care so much about his whereabouts." Silence could be heard from the other side. "Hello?" Taehyun called out, but got nothing in return, "Did he really hang up on me?" Taehyun groaned and threw Beomgyu's phone back on the bed when he noticed a certain someone was staring at him. "Oh, h-hey Beomgyu," Taehyun stumbled over his words, feeling embarrassed.
"What was that about?" the older slowly questioned him, drying his hair.
"Soobin is acting strange," Taehyun looked down at his hands, "Was he acting weird towards you today?"
"Well he," Beomgyu paused for a moment, "Nevermind, I'm overthinking it."
"What is it?" Taehyun questioned him, concerned. Beomgyu sighed and sat down next to him on his bed.
"I don't think I'm supposed to tell anyone," the older started, "so don't go around telling everyone."
"You act like I have people to talk to," Taehyun laughed at his own joke.
A small smile played on Beomgyu's lips, "Ok, well Soobin and I got into an argument earlier. He even pushed me and I was scared we were going to get into a physical fight." Taehyun's eyes widened as he listened attentively. "I yelled at him and he apologized so we went to the cafe," he continued, "Then he asked me to flirt with him on stage."
"What?" Taehyun gasped.
"Yeah," the other boy nodded, "It's like his personality changed with a flip of a switch, but he was probably just stressed so I wouldn't worry about it. Anyways, are you ready to go to bed? We have to wake up early."
"Yeah, sorry," Taehyun agreed getting off of Beomgyu's bed and climbing onto the other one, "What about your homework? Did you finish it?"
"Mmm, most of it," Beomgyu stretched, "I'll do the rest in the morning."
Taehyun shook his head, "Sure you will."
"Goodnight Taehyun," Beomgyu yawned, turning off the lights.
"Night Beomgyu," Taehyun replied before turning over and falling asleep.

The Five Series - redemption
Book 1 - Redemption Three generations have passed since the last near-apocalyptic war. Civilization is beginning to thrive again at an ever increasing pace. The burden of society has been once again placed on the back of a massive robotic workforce, creating a huge divide between industrial glory, and those forced to live in its shadow. Many have stubbornly held onto the old ways of self-governance from back when the government fell, but with its return, life in Welan City is changing. Aaron, a middle-aged man, who is stuck in the rut of daily life, witnesses a murder and finds himself in trouble, love, and the middle of a highly secretive robotics project. Aaron stakes his life on helping a prototype survive, and pays for it dearly. Passionate hate, love, and indifference send life in Welan City spiraling out of control, leaving no one innocent in the end. The Five Series is, well, a series. I've completed 3 of the books so far and will finish with a fourth, maybe fifth book. Book 1 is heavy on the character development side while the following will be much more decision and consequence oriented. This story reaches into the soul of a person and the universe we live in. Some people deserve a second chance, and some do not. With that im mind, no one really ever gets what they deserve though, do they? Always tell the people you care about that you love them as often as you can, they could be gone tomorrow. Would that change if you could always bring them back? I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I did writing it. Cody

Witch Hunt. A Warhammer Fiction
The adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt continue!Adebar von Bolstedt, fugitive noble scion of the Empire, stuck in the Great Forest of Talabecland, is gravely wounded by the bestial denizens of the dark wintery woods, only surviving due to the timely arrival of aid and relief in the form of the masters of this land. What begins as a pleasant stay with the wild noblemen of Talabecland soon becomes a matter of faith and tradition as old as the Empire itself, when he finds himself trying to root out a coven of witches from a society that prides itself on rural living and knowledge of the mysteries of the wild. This quest will either see von Bolstedt's shaken faith in his own god reforged into an intolerant blade, or shattered like ice. Word from the AuthorGreetings! Witch Hunt plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This is the second part of the adventures of Adebar von Bolstedt, as such I recommend reading part one, titled "The Hand of Sigmar" first. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.

Stitches
When Lidiyana awoke, she wasn't alone. Instead, she returned to the world with Gareth - a man who tended to her after a horrific accident left her in a coma. He's strange, but also kind in his own way, helping her regain her memories and teaching her about their former relationship. However, as Lidiyana learns more about the world around her, things may not exactly be as they seem. Stitches is a fantasy web serial focusing on interpersonal drama, surreal horror and adventure. As a forewarning, it should be noted that Stitches is not for all audiences, as it heavily features various horror elements including some gore and body horror alongside minor elements of sexuality, nudity, drinking, etc. I know there are content warnings, but I did want to clarify exactly what's going on here. Stitches should update every Friday, barring exceptional circumstances.
