《Missing You (Jalex)》Part 6

"ALEX SHUT UP AND GET OFF OF HIM." Rian yelled. I stopped fighting Alex, because I felt as though my lungs couldn't get anymore air in them. Mary was still sobbing, probably frightened by Alex and him saying she could've hurt us. Rian pried Alex off of me, and pushed him down onto the couch.
"You fucked up." I said quietly. I looked over to Mary, who was looking back at me with red eyes.
"Zack, can you take Mary to her mom? She's at the entrance." I asked. I ran a hand through my hair and sat down, my knee bursting with pain. Zack nodded and pulled Mary up. Mary hesitantly walked over to Alex, sat a paper in his lap, and followed Zack quietly, tears still going down her face.
"What's that?" Rian asked. Alex picked it up, and unfolded it. His eyes scanned the page, and i could see his anger slowly disappearing. I looked down at the floor.
"Oh god, what did i do? " I heard Alex say, before his feet hit the floor and the door opened and close loudly. He was probably gonna go apologize.
He's an idiot and an asshole.
Why the fuck do I still love him?
I laid down in my bunk, trying to breathe. The pain in my leg was unbearable, but not as unbearable as the pain in my heart.
I mean, I already knew that we weren't getting back together. He was engaged to Lisa, but for him to say that in front of a fan and the guys, that's where i draw the line. He obviously knew that Mary was still there. There was no way in hell he had forgotten, I mean this whole argument started because of her being here and being a 'threat' to Zack and I. We had promised to never admit to Jalex to the fans and even though I'm sure Mary would never say anything about it, it's still bad that he brought it up in front of her.

I got out of my bunk and sat down on the floor so i could stretch out and check my knee. It was most likely fucked up even more, so I wasn't expecting it to look pretty. While I was unwrapping it, Rian came in and sat in front of me.
"How's your knee?" He asked.
"Well the shape of it isn't normal, so I would say it's worse than before."
"Do you want me to take you to the doctor's office again?"
"Yeah, it'll help me cool down."
Rian got up, and helped me get to my crutches.
I guess I wasn't gonna go meet the fans tonight.
_
"Well Jack, you have not only pushed the bones out of place, but we'll need to go in immediatly to put a replacement for the missing cartilige. Your previous doctor obviously was an amateur, seeing as he hasn't replaced it yet. This is very dangerous, and if you had waited any longer, you would have gotten an infection and would have to get your leg amputated." Doctor McCarthy said, pointing to things on my xray.
"Immediately, like now?" I asked, frightened. I don't want a surgery. That's fucking scary! Theyre gonna cut open my knee and put fake stuff in there, thanks but no thanks.
"Yes, if you continue to walk on it, you'll cause serious damage to your muscles. You could even become paralysed from it."
I looked at Rian, and he looked the way I felt: horrified.
"Doctor, we have a tour going on. We can't have Jack in this state." Rian interrupted.
"Well you shouldve gotten his knee fixed when it was hurt in the first place. It's not my fault Jack hurt himself while you're on tour." Doctor McCarthy took her clipboard and walked out the room.
"Fuck." I mumbled.
"We are in deep shit," Rian responded, "I'm gonna go call Alex, let him know what's happening." I nodded.

After a few minutes of Rian yelling at the phone, the doctor and a nurse came in. Doctor McCarthy looked frustrated, and I could understand why.
"Alright Jack, we're gonna need you to get into a wheelchair, and we're gonna bring you to the operation room. The procedure won't take long I promise."
I was really scared. I didn't want to go with her, but I gathered my courage an asked,
"Are you sure this'll fix my leg?"
"Of course." I looked at Rian, and he looked like he didn't know what to say either.
"Okay, let's go."

I opened my eyes to see the blank ceiling of the hospital, and I groaned. I don't want to be here anymore.
"Hey bud." I heard Zack say, and I turned my head to look at him. I saw Rian, Alex, Zack, and, surprisingly, Mary.
"Hey Mary." I said, smiling.
"Hey Jack," she said, getting up and walking over to me, "I don't want to intrude or anything, but Zack said you had gotten hurt and he said I could come see you if I was able."
"You didn't skip school for me did you?" I asked.
"No, but I did make you this while I was in History." She handed me a thick envelope. I smiled.
"Thanks Mary."
"No problem. Now I really need to go, I'm sorry, but I have to babysit and it's kinda important."
"Yeah, you can go. Thanks for coming." I said. I opened my arms for a hug, and she bent down --which she really didn't need to do seeing that she was short-- and gave me a hug before saying goodbye to Zack and heading out the door.
"Zack." I said. He looked tense, like he knew what I was gonna ask.
"How did Mary know I was hurt?" I smirked.
"I sorta, erm, gave her my number?" He said quietly, his cheeks turning pink.
"Zack she's underage dude!" Rian gasped.
"Yeah, yeah, I know." Zack mumbled. Rian patted his back. I looked over at Alex, who looked very annoyed. I sighed.
"Zack, Rian, can you guys leave for a second?" I asked. They got up without any questioning, and left Alex and I alone.
"What's wrong with you?" I said once the door clicked shut. His face softened, and he pulled a chair up to my bed.
"I don't know anymore, but what I do know is that I'm sorry about yesterday. That was really out of line, especially in front of a fan."
"Well, yeah it was. You really fucked up dude. We made a promise never to give any hints that Jalex was real, and there you go saying it in front of a fan."
"I know, it was a bad move." He looked down at his hands. We sat there in silence for a few minutes before I spoke up.
"Did you mean any of the things you said?"
"What do you mean?"
"You know what I mean." He sighed.
"Yes, maybe, I don't know Jack. You got inside my head and now I don't know how I'm feeling. You're making my emotions go whack. I don't know if I love you or Lisa or both of you. This is exactly why I had to end whatever we had. I didn't know what to do. Lisa had appeared and I just-" The door opened and Alex stopped talking. Lisa's head popped around the corner, and I cursed inside my head.
"Alex, we need to talk." Lisa said sternly.
Oh shit.
