Lilith Swan
"La tua cantante" His eyes lighting up in wonder "Her blood appeals to you so much. It makes me thirsty. How can you stand to be so close to her?" His voice was soft and smooth if not just a touch unsettling, though I am sure that this is just a result of our present circumstances.
"It's not without difficulty" Edward croaked with an almost snarky undertone.
"yes, I can see that" Aro continued to hold Edward's hand as if he were searching for something.
"Aro can read every thought I've ever had with one touch" Edward explained to us, mainly Bella, before turning back to the vampire before him "Well now you know everything so get on with it" For the position, he was currently in Edward was both curt and rude.
"You are quite the soul reader yourself, Edward. Though you can't read Bella's thoughts. Fascinating" Aro's eyes flicked between my sister and her lover. Maybe he can't read her thoughts because her head is empty. Edward's golden eyes harshly turned to me before returning to Aro. "And judging by the second girl we have here with us today, and a distinct lack of her presence in you memories Edward, I clearly don't know everything" Aro appeared before me faster than my eyes could track however, he did not appear to be threatening me, rather looking with a sense of curiosity. "And what would your name be my dear?"
"Lilith Swan sir" I fought hard to keep my voice steady and composure collected under his watchful gaze.
"Lilith my dear, may I" He delicately held out his pale papery hand for me to take, and so I did. There was no indication on my end that he was searching through my memories. No other physical or mental sensations aside from my hand in his.
"Eccezionale" His milky red eyes filled with almost child-like glee "How absolutely extraordinary to have such a gift as yours" He gently released my hand before guiding me over to Felix and Demetri before he held his hand out for Marcus to take. Much like in the lift I felt Felix's large hand on my wrist which immediately filled me with a sense of comfort. "Today truly is blessed for us as our dear Felix as found his mate" Aro was now stood at the base of the centre steps with a wide cat-like grin.
"You said the girl was a gift brother, what is it?" Came the sharp voice of Caius, who had now lent forward on his throne, hands gripping the arms tightly.
"Clairaudience, she can hear a many manner of truths and intentions from those around her"

"So what? she can hear voices in her head?" Came the disgruntled snipe of my sister, who was now cowering into Edward's arm.
"I wouldn't say I hear voices in my head, but rather I experience a series of auditory intuitions that never seem to be wrong" If anyone is going to call me crazy, I am not letting it be Bella Swan.
"How does it work and how did you know?" Caius questioned with malice hidden intrigue.
"At first, I didn't notice it, I would wonder simple thing like 'where did I put my keys' or 'where is my lecture hall' simple things that were reasonable for me to have known and just remembered. However, every single time I asked the response I would get from my mind was always correct. But then I started to get answers to questions I definitely couldn't have known, such as the names of people I've never met before and being able to tell exactly when someone is lying to me or when they are telling the truth. For the names of people, my gift works automatically after a small observation I know who they are, similar to lies I am told after I have heard their statement. However, for general 'intuitions' or other questions, I just have to ask, either out loud or in my head and the answer soon follows" The angry blonde seemed satisfied with my explanation and Aro looked like he had just won the lottery with how the excitement seemed to take over his face.
"Now my dear, we will sort out the situation with you shorty, Bella on the other hand, I would love to see if you are an exception to my gifts as well" Aro walked calmly into the centre of the room, just out of Bella's reach so she would have to leave Edward. "Would you do me the honour?" Aro asked as he held out his hand. Slowly as if parting him would cause her great pain did Bella finally walk over and take his hand.
"Interesting" He chuckled "I see nothing" and he swiftly let go of her hand and walked closer to the thrones. "I wonder if...Let us see if she is immune to all our powers. Shall we, Jane?" He looked over expectantly.
"No"
"Pain" and before Edward could move much closer he crumpled to the floor in agony, veins that shouldn't be working were straining around his face and neck as his sickly pale skin lightly tinted purple. Jane had the ghost of a smile on her face at his painful squirming and quite frankly I couldn't blame her. Bella tried to intervene but Alec sped over to restrain her.

"Stop. Don't please stop. Stop! Just stop hurting him, please. Please!" Bella screamed desperately trying to escape Alec's hold as Alice tried to comfort Edward on the floor.
"Jane?" Called Aro.
"Master?" Her voice was innocent as if she didn't just torture a man with her mere gaze.
"Go ahead, my dear" He waved calmly.
"This may hurt just a little" Her subtly smile returned to her face. However the longer she looked the more her smile twisted into a frown as nothing happened to Bella. The moment was interrupted by Aro's sharp gleeful laughter.
"Remarkable" He clapped. "She confounds us all. So, what do we do with you now?" He questioned.
"You already know what you are going to do, Aro" Came Marcus' dull voice.
"She knows too much, She's a liability" Caius chimed in, seemingly pleased at this turn of events,
"That's true" Aro sighed with pity, by whether it was genuine or not was beyond me.
"Felix"
Alec turned Bella to face the towering vampire.
"No!" Edward cried as he attempted to fight off Felix. Heavy emphasis on attempted. Faster than my eyes could catch Edward was slammed into the marble floors with cracks lining his face. Alice also tried to fight but just as fast as she was off the floor Demetri had her by the throat and out of the way. Edward soon made a second dash for Felix but just as quickly he was thrown into the marble steps with Felix soon holding him up by the neck ready for execution in front of Aro.
"Please no! please please!" Bella screeched, the movements accompanied by her cries reminded me of a sprayed cockroach fighting for life. "Kill me, kill me not him" She pleaded. Aro quickly stopped Felix from killing Edward as he turned to face Bella. Felix still had Edward in a strong grip as Aro stalked down the steps towards my sister.
"How extraordinary, you would give up your life for someone like us? A vampire. A soulless monster" Aro looked at Bella with a sense of morbid curiosity and I can't bring myself to understand why she would give up her life for someone who left her alone in the woods at night when there has been a history of vampires coming into Forks. That and according to Bella herself Edward loves her because her blood smells exceptionally tasty. Another red flag.
"Just get away from her" Edward chocked out still in Felix hold.
"You don't know a thing about his soul" Except for the fact that he thinks he doesn't have one.
"Forse. Ne il vostro l'uno o altro" Aro muttered seemingly to himself. "This is a sadness, if only it were your intention to giver her immortality" But before anything could happen to her Alice cried out from Demetri's arms."Wait! Bella will be one of us, I've seen it. I'll change her myself" Edward seemed heartbroken at the sentiment. Aro rushed over and took her hand as Demetri let her go.
"Mesmerising to see what you have seen before it has happened" He moved over to Bella and put his hand delicately on her chin. "Your gifts will make for an intriguing immortal Isabella" Then he turned to me. "Now my dear, what shall we do with you, as Felix's mate we will have to turn you I am afraid as it is a crime in itself to separate mates"
"I have finished the first two years of university and am on a years break, I only have one year left and would finish next July. If I was changed then I could leave without raising suspicion and without going missing. My university wouldn't question my whereabouts and I could tell my dad that I got a job in Itay" After pleading my case I could only hope that they would agree, it would give me time to say goodbye to dad and let me see him for just a bit longer. In perfect honesty, I should count my lucky stars that I would be allowed to leave this room alive. A smile shone brightly on Aro's face.
"Perfect! we wouldn't want to raise any suspicions now would we? However, I will have to send Felix with you, both as your mate but also to ensure that dear Isabella is turned" He clapped once again and turned back to his throne. "Go now make your preparations"
"Let us be done with this, Heidi will be done any moment. Thank you for your visit" Marcus bid us goodbye, standing from his throne.
"We will return the favour I would advise that you follow through with your promise soon. We do not offer second chances" Caius spit. I suppose he was angered by the ruling presented, but just like everyone else wanted us gone.
"Goodbye, my young friends" Was the last thing Aro said to us before we were escorted out by both Felix and Demetri.
According to what I could find on google Aro says "Forse. Ne il vostro l'uno o altro" which means "Perhaps. Not yours either" however if this is wrong I do apologise.
Thank you for reading~
