"Can we do it again, please?" I asked, tugging at Charlotte's arm.

"You already did it twice," she laughed.

"Third time's the charm, one last time, please?" I jumped up and down like a kid.

"I can take her." I turned around to see Noah standing there. "I'll get you the front seats. Again," he smirked.

The first and the second time, he somehow managed to get us the front seats. "You can go with him, you know. We can meet you guys for lunch," Oliver shrugged.

"You know he's not that bad, Bella," Ava mumbled.

"And you don't hate him nearly as much as you act like you do," Charlotte whispered."

"A friendship won't hurt," Lucas said while looking at Ava. I knew he wasn't talking about me and Noah. Ava looked up at him. I think all of us noticed the way they were looking at each other, it was a little hard to ignore. "I'm sorry, Ava," Lucas said to her. She clicked her tongue and turned back to me but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her away.

"Right, we'll find a spot for lunch and text you. You go with Noah," Charlotte nodded before she and Oliver left with Lucas and Ava arguing as they followed.

"Then there were two. You coming or not?" Noah asked. I turned around and eyed him.

"I want the front seats," I said.

"You got it," he nodded with a small smile. He slipped in line and somehow ended up at the front and once again, we got the front seats. "You're a roller coaster junkie," he chuckled as the ride started.

I chuckled while putting my head back, feeling the wind blowing at me. The ride shot down and picked up its pace and I closed my eyes, squealing and screaming the whole time. By the time it slowed down to the end, I was laughing hysterically like many others on the ride. I peeled my eyes open and looked at him. He sat there staring at me with a smile dancing on his lips.

"This is the third time we're doing this and every time you're staring at me," I stated while the seatbelts came undone and we stepped out.

"Is that a problem?" he asked while grabbing my purse for me.

"No, it just makes you a creep," I smiled while taking my purse from him.

"Right, that's what it does," he chuckled as we stepped out, walking past the queue for the next round. My phone dinged with a text from Charlotte reading the name of the restaurant which was a five-minute walk from here. "Would you like to take a detour?"

I turned to him while letting my hair down. Lucas isn't wrong. Friendship won't hurt. "A detour where?" I questioned.

"Maybe on a walk?" he chuckled.

"It's a walk from here to the restaurant. Would you say that's enough time for you to ask what you want to?"

He nodded while smiling to himself, "Why do you act like you hate me?" he asked.

"Hmm, I don't know, maybe because you ignored me for four years straight?" I said sarcastically.

"Okay, you have to be fair here. It's not like you went out of your way to talk to me. And me not saying hi to you with the rest of the team is not ignoring you," he chuckled.

"I have said hi to you specifically numerous times. I even congratulated you on winning once and you didn't even look at me. Our team hated me for weeks for that," I mumbled, "Oh, and you didn't even acknowledge me when you would come for extra training with my dad, at my house, in my backyard," I huffed.

"Yeah, that wasn't a nice thing to do," he chuckled, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah, it was a little mean," I scoffed.

"But I bought you a drink. Forgive and forget," he shrugged.

I snorted, "Yeah, one drink and then forgive and forget, that does it," I rolled my eyes.

"Well then, what would you like me to do?"

"I'd like you to tell me why you're so keen on becoming friends with me now," I said, looking at him.

"I'm not too sure. Maybe it has something to do with the way you danced," he smirked, making me roll my eyes, "Or with the fact that you're actually really cool. I didn't know what kind of person you were, if I had, I would have talked to you a lot earlier," he shrugged.

"You would have known if you did." I gave him a pointed look.

"True, call me a fool then, go ahead," he chuckled.

"You are a fool," I laughed as we entered the restaurant, spotting them immediately in the room. Everyone was sitting together, Charlotte with Oliver, and Ava with Lucas. Ava seemed quiet while Charlotte was chatting her mouth off with Oliver.

"Mm, your friend doesn't look very happy," he mumbled. I followed his gaze to Ava.

"Yeah, I can tell," I sighed.

"Perhaps a kiss could fix it, don't you think?" I turned to look at him. I raised my eyebrows at him, waiting for him to elaborate. "Your friend looks miserable, so does mine. Maybe getting them to kiss wouldn't be such a bad thing. He likes her," he shrugged.

"And she likes him," I stated, "But that doesn't mean we can interfere," I said, shooting him a pointed look before walking over to the table. I think they had the chairs rearranged because it should have been three on one side, but it was four on one and only two on the other. So we took the other two seats and then placed our orders.

"Had fun on the roller coaster?" Charlotte asked, raising a sharp brow at me. I gave her a confused look before shrugging in response.

"She had fun, trust me," Noah smirked. I rolled my eyes, smacking his arm while he chuckled before we all ate. I noticed the looks Ava and Charlotte were giving me but simply ignored and shrugged them off. "Is there any less hostility between the two of you?" Noah asked, gesturing to Ava and Lucas.

I kicked his leg under the table, hard enough to make him wince. "Ow," he said, rubbing his jeans while looking at me. I shot him a look that should clearly read, 'don't talk about it' and luckily, he understood and put his hands up in surrender. "Okay, sorry," he mumbled.

I shook my head to myself and we all continued eating. Charlotte and Oliver were engrossed in their conversation, seemingly, they got along very well, Ava and Lucas had started arguing just not as hostile as they were last time so that left Noah and me to keep each other company.

"I don't think hating me has worked out too well for you," he said.

"Why's that?" I chuckled, turning to him.

"Because you're sitting here having lunch with me," he smirked.

"I'm having lunch with my friends," I shrugged, glancing at Charlotte and Ava.

"Yeah, but who's the one keeping you company here?" he arched an eyebrow at me.

I nodded, "Okay, I'll give you that. I'm sitting here, having lunch with you. What about it?" I asked.

"So, how exactly has hating me worked out for you?" he laughed.

I rolled my eyes, "I don't hate you. Hate is such a strong word, such a strong emotion," I chuckled, "I don't hate you, can't say I ever have. I just never liked you per se," I shrugged.

He nodded, "That's good to know because I can't say I've ever hated you for disliking me," he shrugged.

"Not even when I egged your house?" I smirked.

"Well, I can't say I knew you did that until last night," he chuckled.

"Hmm, that was quite petty of our team. Considering we lost that game anyway," I shrugged, "And you weren't even playing as you said."

"To be fair, your dad wasn't our coach then but he did coach that game. The instructions were given by him, he just wasn't there shouting them at us, he was watching from the audience," he said.

"Do you have any idea how much hate and backlash if you will," I scoffed, "I got for cheering for you guys," I shook my head.

"Well, why would you cheer for the rival school?" He narrowed his eyes at me.

"Because that's the team my dad coached," I laughed.

"I guess that's fair enough. Didn't your school know that?" he asked.

"Not everyone," I shrugged.

"I can tell you on behalf of our soccer team, we really appreciated your cheers. It was very satisfying knowing people even from the other school were cheering for us," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes, "I wasn't cheering for the team, technically, I was just cheering for my dad's hard work to pay off," I retorted.

"Same difference."

"Right," I chuckled.

"Do you guys have any plans for tonight?" he asked.

"Not as of yet, why?" I asked, sipping my iced tea.

"Because going to the Las Vegas Strip might be really fun. You ever gambled?" he asked.

"No," I chuckled.

"I'll teach you Roulette," he offered.

"I might take you up on that," I shrugged.

"Just you and me? Call it a date then?" he smirked.

"Haha, funny," I said sarcastically, "We'll all join you. Call it a group date if you'd like."
